Why do so many people complain about the return policies of stores? It's because of so many people taking advantage of their return policy that they've had to do it. Kmart and Target have done the same thing, yet they haven't closed. Toys R Us was already bought out by another company, it happened just recently.

My Target has a bunch of Xbox video games for 30-50% off. I found Curious George, NCAA football, baseball, and basketball, Harry Potter goblet of fire, and many other more adult type games.

Eh..I'm just buying the few items I want from there online, and stand in line at Walmart like I was planning.

Neither does our 24 hour Walmart, and most of the pallets were on the floor when I got there at 1am.

You've gotten some good recommendations. Any of the games based off of kid's movies are generally easy enough for a 4yo to understand and enjoy. Sonic is also a big hit here, my 4yo is getting some games for his handed-down SP(older son is getting a DS for his birthday) for Christmas too. The cartoon cartridges are iffy, IMO. They graphics aren't very good, and unless you have the headphones for the SP, they're hard to hear.

As long as you have the receipt, not a problem. I managed to track down the receipt for a Tmobile phone I bought at Target, but discovered there was no Tmobile service in my area. The packaging was completely gone, I had the phone, and all the papers, etc that came with the phone. They did refund me my money(one of the papers had the UPC code on it, made it easier)Generally, it's no questions asked at Target.

Zelda:Twilight princess will also be available. That one however, may need to be pre-ordered, because it is probably the most anticipated game of the Wii.

I ordered small stuff, so I had an outside box. And that is typical of most places, in fact, I can't think of any place that would put a larger item like the one you ordered in it's own box. Heck..even Walmart has those out, and there are stickers all over the box.

Yep, that's why I went to Walmart so early last year, the snow started coming at about 11:30, and was still going at 12:30, so I decided to head into town(I'm 20 minutes out of town) If I'd waited until the time I was going to leave(4am)it would've taken me forever to get into town.

I found a Playskool dance along MP3 player for 8.48 today(50% off). Thought it would be great as a Christmas gift for my 4yo. They had pink and blue. Also some Playskool toy cellphones, also 50% off.

Well, one nice thing about a docking station, if it's the right one, is that it has speakers so you can listen to your Ipod without the headphones. My husband uses his Ipod speakers/docking station for his Shuffle all the time.

I would've planned to buy the laptop at Walmart, since I was there early enough to get one.

HP photosmart camera and printer were 89.88 at my store today, I picked up 2 of them, and am sending one of the cameras to my husband(he's promised a picture of himself on a camel once he's overseas). My store had lots of video games for 50-75% off, including computer games.

Really..I thought my best deal last year were the huge bath towels for $3 each at Walmart.

Well, I managed to find a few games, so it's all good. But I went back later that night, and they were all wiped out.

I have a couple of things already, and was able to take advantage of the Circuit City video game sale, so there's a few more items. Target clearances are my main source of pre-season gifts.

Nope, gonna take it off like I did last year. I'll probably work the morning shift on Thanksgiving though(no Black Friday sales at a convenience store!)
