I did manage to get through to someone. After taking my info, they told me to call Walmart, and Walmart would start the trace. Walmart was really great, even offering a replacement right away. I asked them to wait on that though, I wanted to try and find the package first. And today, I left a note on my door for my UPS shipment today(to leave it in my front entryway). On the note, I also asked where my package was from yesterday. It was delivered one block east of me, to the same number house. I just have to catch someone home there now. And pray they didn't think to drop it in the UPS drop box or bring it to the shipping cneter.

UPS supposedly left a package at my rear door yesterday. I do not have it, and none of my neighbors has it either. I'm rather ticked off right now, as this is one of my son's Christmas gifts. Their customer service line is a joke, I just want to be able to talk to an operator right away. And the part that really sucks is that I have 2 more packages coming from them, and now I'm scared I won't get those either.

Target has the same policy, I sure don't see it hurting them. And so does Kmart for that matter. Most of my shopping has been at TRU this season, and everytime I've been asked if I need a gift receipt. It's really not that difficult to tape a gift receipt to the gift, in case something is wrong with it. Takes an extra 5 seconds of time. Heck, even Walmart has started buckling down on their return policy. It's a sign of the times. Refusing to shop at a store because of their return policy is just stupid. People have been complaining about TRU's return policy for months now, but everytime I've walked in there this season, they've been packed, so I doubt most of those complainers are actually "boycotting" TRU.

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2005-06

Just buy the carseat that fits in your car the best, and that is the easiest for you to use. The strollers that come with carseats generally suck. They're big, bulky, and well, they suck. -
Going to Big Lots for the first time.
jadedmomof2 replied to meetooo's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I'm jealous, our Big Lots shut down. If I want to go to one now, I have to drive an hour away. -
Why complain? It's because of people taking advantage of that fact, and returning toys to TRU that were bought elsewhere. I don't see why so many people feel they need to complain about this. It's just TRU protecting themselves. As for the OP, the only toys I have bought at Walmart was something I wanted to pricematch from Target(Target was sold out of the item) and 2 Leapster games that were on clearance.

Buy.com/Google checkout shipping method?
jadedmomof2 replied to sewwise's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I was just coming to post something similar. I ordered on the same day you did, using google checkout. Except I got Guitar Hero(since Toys r Us dropped the ball, and my store won't accept ANY internet coupons)and a Nintendo DS game. Just wondering when it will get here now. Got my woot order from the woot-off this morning though, that made me very happy. -
I saw it on clearance at Toys R Us.

Walmart.com $68.00 RipRoar VideoFree DVR Portable Media Player
jadedmomof2 replied to ksj0225's topic in Online Hot Deals
Why is it dropping in price so rapidly, and so much? Anyone know? Did Walmart just expect this to be a hot item, and it just wasn't selling, or what? I just want to make sure I'm not buying a big piece of crap if I were to purchase it. -
Kmart no longer allows clearance items on layaway. And that would definitely not work for Target with their aggressive clearance system.

If you're trying to get the DS bundles in the stores, good luck. I got the only DS in stock at my local TRU today. -

I got the clearance video games from them very quickly. I'd say within 2-3 days. -

Looking for a deal on Convertible Car Seat

Roundabout isn't the best anymore. At least, not IMO. Spend the extra $20, and get the Marathon. All the benefits of the Roundabout, plus, the harness goes to 65lbs. My 4 1/2 year old still fits fine in his Marathon, and will for about another year or so. -
They closed our store. I was very upset about it.

Not toys(because I wasn't really looking) but mine had tons of the 1gb memory cards left. Which is good, because I wanted a few, and didn't get out on BF. Mine also had lots of pajama sets left. I'm waiting until after Christmas, and then I'm going to watch those 32inchers very closely, waiting for them to drop in price.
-
If you have one, try at a KBToys outlet store.

Nope, the last set of Original trilogy DVD's did not include the orignal un-messed up versions. I know, I have those too.
-
Walmart had the original trilogy on BF. I saw plenty, so you should still be able to get them. 9.72 each, and they include the original theatrical version, before Lucas added all those scenes to them.
-
No, they had an Impact SD card for $13.87. I've read that Circuit city had a Sandisk 1gb for 2.99, and Office Max had the same Sandisk for 12.99. I tried to pricematch the sandisk one at my Walmart(nearest Circuit city is 400 miles away) but..the Walmart I went too doesn't carry the 1gb Sandisk.

what do they do with all the extra doorbuster stuff (merged)
jadedmomof2 replied to neile457's topic in 2006
The store I went to last night had already started integrating the Black Friday stuff in with the regular merchandise. There were a few tv's, a lot of the memory cards, plenty of pj sets, lots of toasters, and the little vaccuums. Last year, with some of the extras, I did see them get marked down. -
I wish I'd been able to price match the Sandisk 1gb card. The one at Office Max was cheaper than the no-name one at Walmart, and well..the name was there. But, the highest Sandisk at the Walmart I went too was 512mb(not a pulled item, there wasn' even a place on the hanging things for it) but, since I did need a couple, I grabbed a few of the no name ones. I gotta have some thing for the Wii.
