  1. Saitek A100 MySpkr Personal Stereo Speaker $12.99 Wugh..they're going to do the BoC at midnight again, aren't they?
  2. Back up! Sennheiser RS-130 Wireless Headphones $54.99 + $5 shipping
  3. Blech..I'm going to have to wait for the November one for gifts like I did last year, aren't I?
  4. I hope this Roomba moves quickly, I'm watching for Christmas gifts.
  5. I really hate seeing people complain about return policies. The stores were FORCED by consumers to make those changes, as consumers were taking advantage of the store's lenient policies, and bringing items back to Toys R Us that were never purchased there. I include gift receipts with every gift I give. Takes 5 seconds, and is really the considerate thing to do. Keep in mind that most stores have credit card look up, so I just make sure to use credit cards(usually my bank debit card) to make purchases of things that may be returned, especially electronics.
  6. Hmm, well, I was already planning on not going to Walmart anyway, but this just cemented the deal for me. Thanks Walmart, now I can go wait in line elsewhere, not wondering what I'm missing out on.
  7. I always thought Walmart was a mecca for idiot shoppers?! And for some reason, every time I've walked into Walmart with my 5yo recently, he's freaked out. As in, tantrum freaking out, over nothing. All I can figure is that he's really over-stimulated by the lighting. I'm in Target country, I really don't know what I'd do without that store. Or actually.. I do. I'd drive over an hour away at least once a month to shop there, like I did when I was stuck in Walmart country for 2 years. Here, the grocery stores are running great ads(but, we don't have big chains like Kroger either, just small, regional chains), and have been running great ads ever since our Walmart was made into a Super Walmart(no Super Target here either, but it does have some grocery items anyway). Plus, we're a double coupon state, so that helps. I remember being at Walmart once and trying to find some green onions. They didn't have any, not even a spot on the produce shelves for them. That was the first, and only time I attempted to buy groceries there.
  8. Target almost always has better prices than Walmart anyway, and you don't have to deal with all the idiots like you do in Walmart either(at least, that's how it is here for me)
  9. Dang, I wish mine had a refrigerator section.
  10. Undecided right now, if I decide on Walmart first, then I'll be there between 12 and 1am(Super Walmart, so I can stay warm). Right now, it all depends on who has the best quality sewing machine for cheapest, because that's what I want the most this year.
  11. My 5yo is bugging for the Smart Cycle, but with us already having a Wii,and him a Leapster plus he got a handed-down Gameboy SP, I just can't see spending all that money on one.
  12. This should probably go on the Target clearance thread, or the Target coupons thread, not in the Black Friday section.
  13. We got a BF tv about 4 years ago, and while I did recently give it away(bought an HD capable tv) it still worked fine.
  14. Target had a pink one last week, with the top rated Graco Snugride infant seat. Keep watching, however, don't get your mind set on NEEDING a certain pattern/fabric. Find the seat that fits your vehicle the best, and remember that babies tend to outgrow the infant seats by 6 months at most. Concentrate your effort on the convertible carseat, that, depending on the maker, can last your child up to 6 years.
  15. Is there any chance you'd be willing to bring it back? Seriously, a second base for the infant seat your grandchild already has, plus a decent stroller would be less expensive for you. Plus, infant seats don't last long either(less than a year for most infants), you'd be better off buying a convertible carseat. I mean..kudos for thinking of your grandchild's safety, but you'd really be better off doing it all a different way. Whatever you decide however, please make sure to have your installation of it professionally checked by a certified child passenger safety technician. Visit www.safekids.org, or http://www.nhtsa.gov/people/injury/childps/CPSFittingStations/CPSinspection.htm to find a local seat check or installation station.
  16. Leapster has a much bigger catalog of games for it than VSmile does. That's what got me to buy the Leapster for my son.
  17. That's because Target has predictable clearances, and great clearances at that, something the overly-bright, migraine inducing Walmart doesn't have. Anyone know if the outdoor stuff has hit 50% yet? I want one of the Suncoast bench/storage things.
  18. And so you know, the travel systems generally suck. The strollers are bad, and you really want to buy a carseat that fits your vehicle, rather than whatever is cheapest at the time. You can always purchase a duplicate base for whatever carseat your grandchild has already, get it installed by a qualified technician, and then buy a decent stroller.
  19. Ehh..I bought mine from the refurb store, paid about the same for it as a I would've a 8gb Nano in a store. And, even with 300+songs, many video podcasts and regular podcasts, and the entire 3rd season of Doctor Who on it, it's still only 1/3 full.
  20. Ooh, I can't wait until college drops to 50%. I'm going to buy at least one of the futon/couch things they have for my kid's room.
  21. Plus the shipping is outrageous(when I checked it was $90+! )I got my bundle from Gamestop a few months ago, shipping was much better. I did recently see some Wii's in a Target though, one that doesn't get as much traffic.
  22. Yeah, FP sent DS the DVD for the planet heroes a few weeks ago, and he was enthralled. I thought it was rather cool that signing up on their site for emails and stuff got him such a cool freebie. I've been keeping a lookout for them, but so far no dice.
  23. The Graco will last you much longer than the Triumph will, but keep in mind, the harness itself only works to 40lbs, the seat works as a booster seat from 40-100lbs. And as a grandparent seat, it really is a good buy. You can also go to www.safekids.org, or http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/people/injury/childps/CPSFittingStations/CPSinspection.htm and find a seat check near you to get the installations of the seats checked out by them, and they'll show you how to install them properly too.
