  1. I think you could get that, but I think that $299 or $349 is probably more likely. I would like to see a cheap hard drive without the need for a rebate. I need 4 to upgrade my home server. :) Other than that, I don't think I will see much from my wishlist in the ads.
  2. I added a comment about that to the original post. Thanks for the heads up.
  3. Newegg has it on special today! http://www.gottadeal.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1299445#post1299445

  6. I got a laptop last year. Still going strong. I think I have a hard drive that I bought about 5 years ago that is still going strong.
  7. People who visit other BF boards. Just kidding... Reselling items is a touchy subject here too.
  8. Have they set up any special educational purchasing arrangement with MS?
  9. Forum whiners and spammers Nuff said.
  10. +1 There is no way it should be $27. Perhaps that is for the whole service with the DVR.
  11. This is true. If the 360 is close enough to the router, you can just run a cable. If not, you don't have to get the 360 specific wireless adapter. You can go with a wireless gaming adapter that will save you a little bit of money. It uses the ethernet port on the gaming system to connect to a wireless bridge. You can also use a range extender or access point to get the same thing. It doesn't have to be "gaming" specific. These low-cost APs are reported to work with the 360, but I can't promise anything as I haven't teste it myself. 12. I agree... unless they are learning MS Office specifically, I would go with OpenOffice for free. It can save/read most office formats.

  16. I will let this one stay here for a bit since it has come back in stock once. If it doesn't, I will move it to the dead deals. Hopefully plenty of people got in on one of these great deals for 4 GB drives.
  17. Well... a 5MP picture is around 2MB. So if your pictures were that size, a 4GB drive would hold approximately 2000 pictures. Of course this isn't completely accurate and can vary, but you get the idea. :)
