  1. Well, there you go... beat me to it.
  2. It isn't possible to tell this directly from the forum. I'm sure that Brad could work some SQL magic to get the answer, but right now, other things are keeping him busy. I'm not sure if the total Registered users includes banned members or not. I think that it might not since they fall under a different classification of user.
  3. How did you know what CPU I was looking at... G0 stepping of course. Now, to decide on a good motherboard to tie it all together. :)
  4. This makes me want to build a new system with DDR2! :)
  5. I sincerely dislike you now... *puts finger on ban button* ... no, that wouldn't be right... That makes my Dell 24" wide and 20.1" by it's side pale by comparison. Although I probably would have been more impressed if you had 3 x 30. :)
  6. I agree... I think I will change it.
  7. Pictures are available on the GD ad. Just click on the picture of the camera next to the item. This saves greatly on site bandwidth, and makes the GD experience much faster for the users.
  8. Trust me... we are keeping track... ... of everything ... I think it could be a cool feature to see how much time you have been here, but I'm not sure that i want to know...
  9. I often find good deals at Amazon or Buy.com
  10. That is what I see too. Good deal for a first time domain buyer...
  11. I liked the songs better in I over II. The 80s is fun too. GH III looks like it will be really good. The fact that it will be available for all platforms shows that it is really becoming popular. it almost makes me want to get a Wii so that I can try it out on there. :)
  12. Read my post above... Perfect for the starter...
  13. There have already been several 22" wide deals this year for <$200. I'm going to guess that you can get a 22" for $149-$169 on BF. There will be several deals for $189-$199 as well. I think the 22" is where the sweet spot will be this year. The 24" monitors are still a bit pricey, but you may see one for $389 or so. Just my predictions. :)
  14. Many stores won't take any returns on BF. Typically, they open service counters as registers.
  15. My interest is peaked though... If DD-WRT works on the WHR-G125, then Tomato should as well. I just don't have anything to test it right now. Maybe a new version will come out soon with "official" support for the WHR-G125. It seems that the older Buffalo routers (WHR-G54S) are disapearing off the shelves in favor of the newer WHR-G125.
  16. Can you confirm that Tomato works on the WHR-G125? Do you follow the same flash procedure as the older Buffalos? I switched to Tomato from DD-WRT and I REALLY like it. I'm running it on a WRT54GL though. I've been setting up friends with the WHR-G125 with DD-WRT since I didn't see anthing about compatibility on the official Tomato site. Any insight is appreciated as I would much rather put the average user on Tomato over DD-WRT.
  17. Does there have to be a theme? I've never had one. When we were first married, we didn't have a lot of ornaments for the tree, so we decorated with empty Silver Bullet cans. They reflect the lights of the tree quite nicely. I highly reccomend it. Plus, it makes the tree decoration interesting towards the end if you start with 0 empties...
  18. Thanks... Got mine. That is a great deal on these. I checked again, and they aren't showing a price now. :)
  19. Price is showing $53.99 for me. I wanted to get a set of these for the wife. Am I missing something?
  20. Nice deal on a router that can be flashed with 3rd party firmware (DD-WRT). I have had excellent luck with the Buffalo Routers.
  21. That is a great deal for students! I will be passing this along to a couple of my friends who attend classes. It isn't as good as the deal I got through my job though.... $20 shipped for the full version. Check with your employer to see if they are part of the Microsoft HUP.
  22. Yup. Everything seems good. And the servers are much more powerful and fast. Getting ready to handle the onslaught of new and returning members for BF.
  23. When I was teaching, I had a student give me a Coffee Mug with my name written on it. I think that you can buy them as a kit or something (it was hand written). Then, they put some basic chocolates and things in the mug. I thought it was a great gift, and will normally be appropriate for any teacher.
  24. Obosolete is the wrong word. That would imply that it no longer does the job it was designed to do. It will play music just as well as the new iPod. :) It is however "Outdated."
  25. Scott

    How do you wrap?

Normally I use wrapping paper. I will also hand tie bows on some of the large gifts. That is mainly so that I can remember which ones my wife is supposed to open last. I buy her WAY too much stuff.
