Seems reminescent of older BBS chat rooms that you could dial in to. I've never seen it in a forum, but I'm familiar with the concept. I don't think you will be seeing anything like that here though. It just doesn't fit in with the mission of the GD site or forum. Just my thought on it.

Lots of people use photobucket for free. Another option is to attach an image, but then you are limited in how big it can be, and how many there can be per thread I believe.

That seems like a nice deal for a compact desktop system including LCD. This would be tempting if I didn't have so many computers lying around. :)

Not that I know of... I did set a widget to the RSS feed and that worked out nicely for the main page.

Those are all photobucket images. I can't see them here at work as they are blocked by the corporate firewall. :) So, since you are at home that means that either a. The images no longer exist or more likely b. You have some security software running on your computer that is blocking photobucket Maybe someone else can chime in as to whether or not they see the pictures in that thread. What security software do you run?

That means one of two things. 1. The picture no longer exists. 2. There is something blocking the image. Which could be due a number of reasons including: -firewall (especially corporate ones) -security software (spam/ad blocker) -browser settings (there are settings to disable images) So now... a few questions. Are you trying to see the images from work or at home? Is it just images in posts? Can you see other images like this --> :) ? What about this image? http://www.dibles.net/merlinnroger.jpg Can you give me a link to a specific post, or posts, where you can't see the image?

I'm not sure why they told you that. In general, Dell quality is good. Not the absolute top of the line, but very good. I have 2 Dell laptops and both have served me quite well.

While I agree and personally have a 1080p set, there are still a LOT of people out there that have 720p or 1080i sets that would rather spend $240 on a player than thousands on a new set.
