just wondering has any wisdom for purchasing a cell phone off of Walmart.com? I'm a current Verizon customer and am eligible for a new phone. they have some crazy prices on the newer Droid product on there and they also have a $100 GC with any smart phone. i would of course go with the Verizon coverage vs anything Walmart might offer.....just wondering if the phones are generally activated or if you have to pay Verizon to do that? Is there anywhere on their site where it talks about the terms and conditions of buying the phone? I haven't been able to find that (perhaps I was not clicking on the right area) Thanks ALL!! I am soon to be kicking my satellite TV to the curb and still want a DVR with the cable I get. Comcast is about 27 bucks a month per DVR - which you have to get a DVR for each TV (at least that's what they told me). I'm wondering if there are any words of wisdom out there whether to get TIVO or a DVR from a retailer - Best Buy, WM. I know with TIVO you have to pay a subscription. So I'm wondering what the pros and cons are that people have run into. Thanks people!!

Howdy! I was wondering about Acer laptops. Any good or bad things I should be looking for? They seem to be a lower price than the other more well known laptops - Dell, Sony. I'm not looking for a laptop to replace my home pc. Just looking for something that is portable around the house. So I don't need all the bells 'n whistles. The help is appreciated!!
