I probably would not get the Nabi 2. I think 12 is too old for it. I would probably look into getting the Kindle Fire since you can get one for 159.00. This is probably what I am going to get my 14 year old boys.

I think for a 12 year old I would also go with the kindle fire. I think she is really too old for the Nabi. I am getting one for my 6 year old daughter.

I noticed that Target has the Xbox 360 w/kinect for 199.00 also. These are in stock at my Walmart, if they don't take them off the shelf before I know our Walmart will PM Target because I've done it for the last 2 years.

I will probably start making my lists today sometime since the Walmart ad came out. The only other major ad I am waiting on is the rest of the Target ad. I always go to Walmart first anyway, since it is the only store in our area. Then, I drive out of town to the other stores. The stuff that interests me is at the 8:00 sale so I will be able to drive out of town and the lines will have time to go down a little bit by the time I get there.

Yeah, when I posted this, the Walmart ad was not out yet... I will be visiting Walmart Thursday night. Looks like my sweet teenage boys will be washing dishes after Thanksgiving dinner...

I am so very excited about the Nabi 2 as well. Our Thanksgiving dinner doesn't usually end until around 7:00 after we get done cleaning up. I may just have to skip the clean up afterwards. It is at my house anyway, so I will just talk my sweet teeange sons into washing the dishes. We will definitely be using disposable everything to help make it easier... I am disappointed that the Xbox 360 w/kinect is 229.00 though. I was hoping to get one for 199 with gc like last year. I am not sure if our Walamrt will price match kmart anymore since the kmart closest to us closed (it was about an hour away). The kmart is about 10 minutes further....

Well, I saw the Nabi2 tablet at Best Buy, but I don't usually get anything from BB because I am not willing to camp out. Also, our budget has shrunk considerably. DH has had very little work over the past 2 (self employed in drywall) so we had to dip into our BF funds. But, anyway, I am also interested in the 97.00 TV, if I have the extra funds and can get one. I am hoping that Walmart will have one for this price instead since Kmart/Sears is an hour away. I am also interested in the Xbox 360 w/kinect, but am hoping that Walmart will offer it for 199.99 with a gc offer. Since our funds are so low, the only way my daughter will be getting the Nabi tablet is if it is either 150.00 or less or has a good gc offer with it. She is also wanting a kitchen set and I found one for 115.00 at Walmart.com and then looked at Amazon.com and they had lowered their price to match. I have 80.00 worth of gc with AMazon so that means I won't have to put but 35.00 with it. My boys are wanting a messenger phone and so far I've not been impressed. I am going to check the ads out again though to make sure I didn't overlook it.

Does anyone know if Kmart layaway is open Thanksgiving? Unless Walmart beats the price by at least 75.00, I may put the Xbox 360 w/kinect on layaway to save my other money for BF..lol.

I've not really done any checking into the meep tablet, but I did a lot of research on the Nabi and decided to go it for our daughter (she is 6). I got to try one of these in the Walmart store and it is really nice. Also at Walmart.com Nabi has like 97% of good ratings.

If I remember right, I believe that they changed weekly. I don't think everything changed weekly, but they did add new stuff and take some stuff..

This is not good. We usually have our Thanksgiving dinner at 4:30-5:00 and don't finish until about 6:00. We will have to do a little replanning if we need something from the 6:00 sale. I wish they would go back to the 5:00 a.m. sales!!!

This is what I am also hoping for (with the kinect though). I am also hoping that they have a deal on the Nabi 2 tablet or at least a gc offer and I need 2 cell phones for the boys. I was planning on doing smartphones, but I think we are going to do messenger phones instead. I am hoping for a deal that includes the phone and the prepaid minutes.
