  1. I found this helpful http://www.wired.com/geekdad/2011/11/skylanders-legendary-characters-have-clear-advantage/
  2. i added it to my cart but changed my mind so mine will be released to someone waiting on the waitlist
  3. are you on the lightning deal page? you need to be there and click add to cart as soon as it hits 11 (pst). You can't get it from the regular xbox page
  4. I saw that, but I prefer to buy from amazon so I don't have to pay shipping or tax.
  5. It would only be about $1 cheaper to buy from Toys R Us after you figure in tax, plus my nearest one is over 3 hours away. But its a good idea for those who will be at Toys R Us anyway.

  7. I will be, I'm generally up until midnight or so anyway.
  8. I got some at Kohl's during the 30% off sale.
  9. Glad to pick this up for this price before Black Friday, one less thing I have to shop for http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004VQEOA6/ref=oh_o00_s00_i00_details http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/81-W5UxkDWL._AA1500_.jpg
  10. Does he have a work bench with tools? I'm guessing you already have a trampoline and swingset since you have an older child. What about a mobigo or something like that? We bought one for our niece last Christmas and she had just turned 2. She liked it and played with it a little, but now that she is 3 she plays that thing ALL the time.
  11. Sweet! The town I will be shopping in has a Big Lots, I love going there!
  12. I have sent them wrapped or unwrapped depending on my mood and if the box I have has room for things to be wrapped. I've decided its much funner to have them wrapped though so that is what I try to do. I always put someone else's address like my sister or mom just in case it gets sent back and I have my hubby write the address so they don't guess its me by the handwriting from my Christmas card (if they were in the card exchange)
  13. The one I ordered for DD's birthday arrived today too! I'm going to check it out as soon as she gets going on her homework!
  14. Do you have a cricut? You could make them. They have this magnet stuff that you can cut out however you want. That would be really cool. I might do that for my nieces now that I think about it lol I think that is the only way to get them when they have uncommon names
  15. Ok, thank you! And also, thanks to packergurl! I just got your Christmas card! You are on the ball, girl
  16. I always do these 3 things: a video game, a dvd (or blu ray), and a gift card and then what ever else I find they might like. Mine tend to overflow out of the stocking which is why they are hung at the mantle for all of December and then Christmas eve Santa leaves them on the couch
  17. have you considered buying used from gamestop or ebay? If they are that young they probably won't notice the packaging as much as the ds itself. Several years ago DH bought DD a used DS on ebay for a fraction of the cost of a new one. He bought her a cool pokemon case that had a zippered pocket inside for games. We wrapped the whole thing as one package with the ds inside the pokemon case and the games inside the little zippered compartment. She had no idea it was used or that isn't how they are normally packaged. Not that she wasn't worth buying a new one but he found a heck of a deal and we had no idea how long it would last being handled by a young child.
  18. This is my first year doing OE, are we supposed to only buy an ornament or buy other things, too?
  19. I will be picking up another one as well. We've got one here at the house but I want to get one for the car, too. We've got so many games for it and its held up really well to the constant dropping and being dragged around by a 3 year old. She calls it her "DS"
  20. What about if we bought one? I've convinced DH to go with me to Walmart since it opens at 10 and would love for him to have a shirt too. Plus, good advertisement, he's a big tall guy lol. I'm not that good of a walking advertisement since I'm so short but will still be wearing my shirt. I would like to see hoodies, pens, wall calendars (EVERYONE notices my John Deere calendar so I know they would see this as well), and yard signs. I live on a pretty busy street and always put them in my yard for various things I support.
  21. ROFLMAO!!! My 12 year old, however, did not find this nearly as humorous as I did
  22. Amazon has them for 13.50 (+free shipping) if you would rather go that route. I bought them from buy.com using paypal but my sis doesn't have paypal so opted to get them on amazon instead. HTH
