  2. Yeah. My 10 yo collects the Harry Potter, Spongebob, Star Wars etc collections but she loves building with this one too.
  3. Click me There are some super good deals here!
  4. My walmart still has it for $29.99, weird how some stores do that. The lego store has it for $29.99, wonder if the price will drop there too.
  5. This is the cheapest I have seen this, too bad I paid full price just a while back. LEGO Ultimate Building Set - 405 Pieces http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51ScIMoQgbL._SS500_.jpg

  7. I don't know how that works, but there is a warehouse 2 hours from me in the same state and I have never been charged tax.
  8. Just got my shipping notification, glad it didn't get cancelled
  9. DD wanted a game that was $20, we went to pay for it and it rang up $30. I told him it was the wrong price, he had even gotten it out of the display for me and he wouldn't budge. I talked to 2 different managers and the best they would do was give me $3 off, they wouldn't give it to me for the marked $20 price. I called corporate, they asked if I had resolved it with the store and I said no, they wouldn't give it to me for the marked price, he said well have a nice day:eyepoppin Jerk anyway! A good friend of mine is a manager there but wasn't working and said if I ever have problems again to have them page her. I make sure I only shop when she is working now
  10. I posted this in the amazon thread in the dead deals, too but they gave me the laptop for the sale price this morning. I saw on another board they were honoring the xbox deal and thought it doesn't hurt to ask. I thought my chances were pretty slim because I didn't actually place the order, it was up to $599 on the final screen but they said yes much to my surprise!
  11. considering that gamestop is selling just the guitars for $40 each then yeah, its a good deal. Unless you see them for super cheap on black friday somewhere.
  12. I wouldn't worry about them charging you more if that is what you are worried about, it sounds like if its a price mistake then they will just cancel it. If it reassures you any, I went to amazon and target it is also selling it there for the same price, except with $13 shipping instead of targets website only charging $3. Amazon is selling it for $149.99
  13. Guitar Hero: Aerosmith Bundle for Nintendo Wii - Only at Target * Platform: Nintendo Wii Nintendo Wii * Publisher: Activision 5 stars (2 reviews) $39.99 http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51DIsefPXAL._AA260_.jpg Amazon sells this for $149.99
  14. This was such a great show! My dd will enjoy it too
  15. I will put: 1. a video game or 2 2. a few dvds 3. lighters (he started smoking again ) 4. gift cards to sears, home depot and gamestop or another game store 5. I always buy magazine subscriptions really cheap and then print out a picture of the magazine and include it in the stocking in an envelope. This is a big hit every year. I have got in the past for him: game informer, popular mechanics, national geographic, etc. Random other little things he would like. Last year I found some drill bits on sale, so those went in the stocking too.
  16. My DH feels the same way, its too soon, blah blah blah My neighbor down the street has her lights up already and hell, the neighbors across the street leave theirs up all year:yuck: I am going to try to convince him to at least put up the outside lights since the weather has been so nice, even if we don't turn them on for a few weeks.
  17. This past christmas we adopted 8 angels, 6 kids and 2 from the elderly tree. My husband about crapped his pants when he saw how many I had taken but he was great about helping wrap everything and deliver it. I feel like we are so very blessed and its the least we can do to ensure little kids get christmas and the elderly aren't forgotten. Like many GDer's I keep a well stocked gift closet and was able to use a lot out of there and only had to buy a few things from their lists I didn't have on hand already. Each child got about 7-10 gifts depending on their lists. I too shop all year long for deals to donate to the needy at christmas time. There isn't a better feeling than knowing you gave a child christmas who might not of gotten anything otherwise.
  18. At our house we keep a running list of "wants" on the side of the fridge and add things to it all year long. My 10 yo DD's consists of a laptop and random ds games, but she keeps saving her allowance and buying them herself so they get crossed off the list:yup: Her birthday is just before Christmas and she will be getting a laptop and for Christmas we will be getting a 32 inch flat screen for her room along with a dvd player.
  19. I just did #3. I was already a fan but added a link. My profile is set to private, will you still be able to see it since I am a fan? It is my status so you might be able to see it that way. Let me know if not and we can figure something else out. my facebook page
  20. I think you mean the difference between the regular cricut and the cricut expression. The expression has a lot more functions and can cut much bigger designs. Like if you want to make a border for a 12x12 page you could do that. Also with the expression you can choose to cut multiple of the same design. With the regular one you can only cut one at a time. HTH
  21. My DH refuses to go, he would rather pay triple price rather than face the crowds. If we are at his parents house on black friday, I go alone. I really don't mind, nobody to slow me down or get separated from. The years we are at my parents house I go with a friend, I like going with her because we always have a game plan and she will stand by say the cameras while I stand by the dvd players. I hate that I always have a damn list from everyone else who doesn't want to go out so early. Can you pick up such and such for me? Drives me crazy!!
  22. I am wanting to buy my 10 year old a flat screen tv and dvd player to replace the vcr and old clunky tv. Of course I will buy it sooner if I find a good enough deal. I am anxious to hear what everyone else is waiting on.
  23. Thanks for opening this early, I just saw it on myspace and am glad to be a member here. Thanks gottadeal.
  24. Ours have the machines too, it still takes them at least 1/2 hour and that is pushing the button more than once and usually someone has to page them over the loudspeaker before someone actually comes.
  25. Mine is the same way. Very frustrating. I wait back there for a half hour on somebody to come wait on me. Then they spend half an hour looking for my item and tell me to come back in a few days because it isn't there yet. This is after I hand them the print out saying my item is ready for pickup.
