I voted some of both, because for large items he leaves them unwrapped, like the large karaoke machine he brought DD a few years back, and other big things like bikes. Everything else is wrapped though.

I've spent a little over 2 grand so far but am nearly done, except for the $12,000 we are spending on DH's Rhino. In addition to DH and DD, I buy for 4 nephews and 2 nieces, my parents, his parents, my sisters and brother and their spouses, my grandma, Secret Santa, 4 good friends, and also the 2 little boys we are providing Christmas for this year. Instead of taking names off the angel tree this year we are buying for 2 kids we know personally who otherwise wouldn't have much of a Christmas. I've already spent over $200 a piece just on those 2 kids. A friend was telling me last night they have set a budget of $150 per child, but they have 6 kids. I was telling DH we should try something like that next year and his reply was "why"? Men!!! LOL Oh, and I don't use the credit card unless its a big purchase to get the rewards points but then come home and pay it off.

I also bought the tin from Walmart and the pack from Target and still got these too for stockings. Can't have too many, at least in a kids point of view

You don't think Walmart will have a limit of one? Or do you plan on taking someone with you? I wanted 2 different colors also but ended up buying 2 of the crimson ones yesterday so I wouldn't have to wait in line and plan on buying the nerf cases that someone on here suggested.

Build a bear parties are awesome! The store we always go to has the best employees who make the kids feel so special. I recently took the kids and let them each make one and pick out an outfit, plus they made one for grandma who was in the hospital. 4 bears with one outfit each was $120. I let them pick their bears out though, and only one chose a $10 bear. Something to think about is that the kids you take probably aren't going to want the $10 bear, they will want one of the cuter more expensive ones. So if you plan on only buying the cheap bears you will have to tell them in advance or something. If you don't want to spend the money, is it possible for you to just take your own child and maybe 1 friend and just have a cake and ice cream party with everyone else?
