MIne had a whole display of them today. That, and a ton of movies. I didn't find any left over games though dang it.

I didn't realize it didn't have a disc drive, my daughter might be annoyed lol but she REALLY wanted a touch screen which is why I didn't go with the one for $178. I'm hoping to open it tomorrow and check it out. Forgot to add: My hubby did buy the warranty, still I hope it ends up being a decent laptop for what she needs it for.

While it's a nice thought, I could never wait!!! Especially not if I received it so early. If it was a few days before Christmas it would be easier for me to wait I think.

I ordered the leap pad on amazon about 7:30 this morning and then got to Wal-mart about 8:30 and bought the last 3 for nieces and nephew. Got the skylanders for xbox 360 and used my $10 coupon and got some of the hot wheels cars. Also bought the nerf crossbow.

I just saw this is one of the items that Wal-Mart will price match this coming Friday!

Maybe just add it in as a question on the survey.

I like the random number/random person/random whatever idea too. That would be a fun pick-me-up for that person, too Or what about a picture of an item, say candy corn in a jar and each person has to guess how many. Limit it to one guess per member. Those are always fun.

My DD will be 15 just before Christmas. She has been dying for a DSLR camera. I'm hoping to find a deal on the Canon T3-a bundle would be nice. It is hard when they already have everything lol. I also agree with another poster, an experience gift is also great. Concert tickets and let her take a friend or a ski trip etc.

I used to love going out at 3 am with my sister, now she has moved away and the stores open shortly after Thanksgiving dinner is over. My strategy the last few years has been to scour the ads as soon as they come out, buy whatever I can at those prices or cheaper prior to BF and then go out just for the fun of it to pick up the items I haven't been able to find at good prices. DH refused to go before, he didn't want to get up at 3 am but now that the stores are opening earlier he has been a pretty good sport. And by good sport, I mean he will stand in line while I go get more goodies He isn't a crowd person and if it was up to him we would just pay full price for everything.

Other close friends get goodie plates/christmasy dish towels etc ETA: DD's birthday is right before Christmas so usually between the 2 we end up spending close to $1,000. Parents and Inlaws usually about $50 each

I did the box within a box last year for the xbox 360, I used like 10 boxes. The very last box was like a necklace size box with a folded up note inside. It directed her to go find her present in the back seat of dads truck For her birthday a few days ago, I got dance central 3 and just dance 4 and put them each down the pant leg of a pair of pants and wrapped it all up. She was bewildered when she opened it to find an old pair of pants until she shook them out lol. you could also get them each an itunes gc and just wrap those. watch their eyes light up when they realize

I got off to a slow start this year, but am almost finished. I still need to pick up a gift card for my 87 year old grandma, grab a couple of gifts for the neighbors and something for my dad. My DD's birthday is this weekend and thankfully all that shopping is done, now I just need to finish wrapping birthday and Christmas stuff. Then holiday baking and all that, and I haven't even started my Christmas cards Not sure what's up with me this year, I'm usually finished with them the weekend after thanksgiving. DD's ipad will be here Friday and I can't wait to check it out. I have to force myself not to give it to her early lol
