  1. Thank you so much, Bopeep for my cute ornaments! And thank you Stevierocks for my fun ss gifts Merry Christmas everyone!
  2. I see that both of my people received, according to tracking. One has posted and the other hasn't. I hope they like everything
  3. I rarely wrap anything until much closer to Christmas. My cats and puppy tend to rip the paper off and then I have to re-wrap it. I'm 75% done. Immediate family is done, including stockings. We have a couple of friends and extended family members left but I feel good with where I'm at.
  4. We are organized. Growing up, we were allowed to open our stockings before our parents got up. Then we would wake them and my dad would pass out gifts one at a time. We still do that every year, unless we aren't with my parents for some reason at Christmas. If we aren't with them, one of us passes them out but its still one at a time. I prefer it this way. Yes, it takes forever but then we aren't rushing and see what each person got.
  5. Picked up my SS gift from the post office today!! Thank you so much, I love it!!
  6. Thank you so much to my OE person! These are going to look great on my tree mine will be going out closer to the deadline.
  7. Reposting my answers just in case: Posted Nov 10, 2014 - 10:44 pm 1. How much money do you anticipate spending the entire week of Black Friday, online and in stores combined? I plan on finishing up my shopping, so probably about $1000. 2. If you plan on shopping offline on Thanksgiving and/or Black Friday, how many different stores do you predict you'll shop at? Probably 6, hopefully less. 3. Do you anticipate shopping online more than last year, less than last year, or about the same as last year? Probably about the same as last year but I would love to be able to do every bit of it online! Edited by jendeere, Nov 10, 2014 - 10:44 pm.

  10. 1. Walmart, but only because I won't be in a big city this year so Walmart is all that matters to me 2. If the store is open and the sale is on, I'm there!! We will plan Thanksgiving Dinner around the ads! 3. Thursday, 6pm
  11. I've been a member for 7 years now and check gottadeal.com before buying anything. There are many deal sites out there, but none quite like this one. From great friendships to fun contests, gottadeal is more than just a place to find great bargains.
  12. All of those are great! I will add one more: I hate those super rude, hateful people who think they are the only ones trying to get through the crowd or get through the checkout line. Those type of people need to stay home on BF in my opinion.
  13. If you are going for doorbusters, take several people with you. At my Walmart (our only place to shop within a 3 hour radius) you can't leave your line. So if you want 3 big ticket items you better have 3 people with you. My husband only recently started going with me, since the Thursday evening start times actually. He and my father-in-law make great place holders since they are rarely going for anything in particular. Get there earlier than you are planning on. Don't forget to make a list! I always gather all the ads and write a list of my must haves beforehand. I have my iphone and sometimes my ipad for snagging those online deals while waiting in line. Forgot to add: I also don't take a cart. Or if I need one, I park it and my father-in-law somewhere and come dump stuff off when my arms get full!
  14. 1.This is the line that never ends, it goes on and on my friends.... 2.I want a TV this big! 3. I never get ANY doorbusters
  15. Teespring takes paypal So excited for a hoodie!!!
  16. No, but I usually finish up on BF. I shop all year when I find good deals.
  17. just sent my email!! Please sign me up for OE and SS! So excited, this is one of my favorite things around the holidays!
  18. My package just arrived!!! I got a cute snowman decoration (he totally matches the other things I have, some of which are from a previous ss) a christmas toy for my pup, some hershey kisses in candy cane flavor, candy cane hot cocoa, some cute scrapbook embellishments, and a cute christmas mug. My box was badly crushed and the tape was totally ripped off almost the whole way across the top so I hope nothing is missing. I'm surprised that the mug wasn't broke considering the condition of my package but luckily my ss had lots of padding in there. Thank you, SS! Now, does anyone know how to upload pictures from my iphone without using photobucket or whatever?
  19. I just gave the one I bought to my DD for her birthday today. No complaints yet. She hasn't even complained about Windows 8, which I personally hate. But she does have Xbox live and it looks similar to that (to me anyway)
  20. I haven't wrapped a dang thing yet but DH is good about helping with that part. We've still gotta come up with a gift for his parents, he keeps shooting down every idea I have and has no clue what to get them.
  21. I've said I was going to do that for about the last 5 years and haven't been able to stick to it yet lol! I try but then find something else that I just have to buy. We don't set a budget. I've also tried that in the past. My DD will turn 15 ten days before Christmas and between birthday and Christmas I tend to spend about $1000 on her. The only budget I do try to stick to is the $100 budget we set amongst us siblings. We rotate every year and every year I go way overboard but this year I think I kept it under $200. If I don't buy anything else
  22. Yeah, I just scroll past them. I scroll past a lot of that stuff actually. Some is good, but the deals don't seem to be as good as the past few years.
