  1. Answer: Home Alone 2 Lost in New York Quote: "Oh Christmas isn't just a day, it's a frame of mind"
  2. Song: It's Christmas all Over The World Lyric: "And Folks Dressed Up Like Eskimos"
  3. This can make holidays very difficult but not impossible. The health food stores are very helpful in supplying foods and breads that your son should be able to eat that look very similar to "normal" foods. Also there is a wonderful website called glutenfreemall.com that you can order things from that is a wonderful source to order things from. Holidays are very manageable. Have been dealing with food allergies for most of my sons life and it can be overwhelming in the beginning but you can work around it. Please talk with people that work in the health food stores. They are a wealth of information and will suggest magazines and other websites that will provide you with additional information on this topic. Good luck and enjoy the holidays!!
  4. Thanks everyone! My son has talked to many people that have an Xbox one and was told they glitch a lot. My son has a Wii U and has decided on an XBOX 360. I am guessing since they are an older system there will be some good deals on those for Christmas.
  5. This might not be the right place to post this question. I know it is early, but my son is asking for an Xbox one for Christmas. Does anyone think they will come down in price for black Friday? Trying to decide, if I should go ahead and try to start saving $500.00 or pray they come down for the holiday. Any help would be appreciated. I really don't have a lot to spend this year, and was not counting on him asking for anything this big for Christmas. I told him, I really could not afford something so expensive, and he said it is the only thing he wants.
  6. I did not like the earlier hours. I miss the days of getting up at 2:00a.m. on Friday morning and shopping all day with my mom. Time with family is more important than chasing a sale. Was able to spend Thanksgiving with my family and order most everything online. The online prices were actually better than trying to rush from store to store on Thanksgiving. Thanks to this website I am able to Christmas shop year round and get great deals.
  7. Went to a Walmart in Virginia and it was packed. Could not hardly move thru the store.
  8. Still waiting on my shirt!! Maybe tomorrow.
  9. In the South we call a stocking hat a toboggan!!
  10. Ditto to the list above. In addition to the list above: 1. New boots for the winter months 2. Thick toboggan 3. Fill a stocking with things he can carry on the truck...gum, favorite candy, etc. 4. Toiletry items to replenish his personal bag 5. Gift Cards to the places he frequents most often. Some truck stops have gift cards. Go online and check. 6. Thinsulate Gloves 7. Basket of Goodies ..include notes that tell him how much you love and miss him.
  11. I have already wrapped a lot of mine and placed name tags on them. I usually wait to put bows and ribbons on them.
