I am taking some people at their word if it's a mall/store close to them because I can't be calling all over the country and I only have contacts in 11 states. I don't have any that work at the above stores.

flyjar... i'm kind of doing the same thing. My folks are going to babysit DD from about 11pm Thursday until 10am Friday. Then I'm going to pick her up and we're heading back out for about 2 hours of shopping. I need to find a stride rite for her so we can get shoes, so that's the last part of the day. Then we're going back home and setting up the Christmas tree (if I can find one at a really good price).

woah. added. so this mall so far is the exception to the rule. any stores in there etc are obviously opening earlier than what is listed above. thank you!

definately double check with your store/mall. apparently it is varying region to region. az malls are 3am. i called some nj malls and they're saying 5am. although i think there is a DE store opening at 3am - waiting on confirmation still.

liquour. lots of it. jk i'm in az and we've still be fairly warm so that part isn't hard for me. i'm a night owl... and my dd hasn't let me sleep more than 2 hours at a time since she was born. she's been training me for bf since the day she was born.

ditto to that. i'm not happy with either company. but honestly i'm on a budget. and for me it's who has the deals. wal-mart didn't have anything i wanted and i doubt they'll price match the items i see at other stores (bogo etc). For that reason, and the fact that there is no craft dept and i don't want to deal with the crazies there - i'm skipping them. but i can't call it a boycot - if they had what i needed, or would price match the items i need i'd definately be in line.

added. i think most, if not all outlet stores are opening at midnight. Andrea, is that the one that is not too far from Nags Head - OBX area? I loved that outlet center just never could remember the name.

no problem. gives me something to do at work. all we do here is take inbound calls from folks who have really silly questions.

per Jennifer at the Deptford Mall Disney Store: they are opening at 5am Office Depot is opening at 6am, per Chrissy at the Deptford location.

how do you send ad scans to brad? can they be sent by pm or do they have to be emailed?

best bet on this is to call the disney stores at the malls that you want to shop at. if your disney store is opening early also call the mall customer service desk and ask them what time they will be opening their doors for BF shoppers that want to line up.

It seems that the trend is for the outlets to all open at Midnight and there are some great doorbusters out there. But to go means not waiting in line at other places. I'm torn. I think my current plan is to wait in line at Disney, then rush over to BRU, then to Target, Ace Hardware and finally Walgreen's. I MIGHT make a pitstop at kb toys, but I doubt it. I would like to go to the outlets though but I don't think I'd make it from there to Disney in time. Now obviously I'm searching for toys (for DD, tool toys for me). So I would imagine those of you on the hunt for other items - electronics, clothes, tools etc have a different game plan. If it's not top secret, do you mind sharing it?

Thank you I'll go ahead and add them now. I really want to call them now, but my calls get recorded here at work. I need to call Christiana Mall on my lunchbreak too. They'd be worth travelling to if you're in south jersey as they're tax-free.

they'd have to have something really amazing to get me to come to their store. and that's saying something as they are the closest business to me (other than a gas station). i'll drive the extra hour or so for other retailers. but maybe this is because i'm not hunting for electronics - just toys and baby gear.

just wanted to add that the Baby Einstien Activity Jumper is worth every penny. Had one of those for a few months for DD - and they keep their value - resold it for more than what is listed in this ad.

hmm. maybe it varies by region mall? i'll put an asterick next to that one. the malls i talked to were arrowhead, paradise valley (az for both) as well as deptford & cherry hill. i will call cherry hill & deptford again on my lunch break.

that's just for paramus? i never heard of that. worked in the nj malls for almost 10 years (admittedly it was south jersey)

I further separated the lists. Also added a list of malls and their opening times. At some point today I will be splitting it further down by opening time so that you can come up with a good plan of attack. :)
