  1. I used to work at King of Prussia www.kingofprussiamall.com . If this is your intention you need to get there extremely early. Try to get a parking spot in the parking garage. This mall is separated into 3 sections (all are connected) and there are 3 food courts. 2 are your standard food - grab a tray, load it up and sit down, the other food court is actually sit down restaurants. If you're travelling, these are the only malls in PA worth going to really, at least if you're coming from VT. Another option is the Jersey Garden's Outlet Mall - this is in Elizabeth (north jersey) www.jerseygardens.com . Did you know that NJ is home to the most malls per square mile? A great choice, and this is in far north NJ is the Garden State Plaza Mall, it has every store imaginable. I grew up in nj, lived there for 20+ years, have been to the mall more times than I can count and I still don't know all the stores in there nor have I seen the whole mall yet. Garden State Plaza Mall is located in Paramus NJ. and is further north than King of Prussia Mall. Both are great for BF shopping, just make sure you've a game plan and a mall map before you get started! If you're travelling further south and have questions about Neshaminy (pa), Franklin Mills(pa), Cherry Hill(nj), Cumberland(nj), Deptford(nj), Echelon(nj), Hamilton(nj), Moorestown Malls(nj), Promenande(nj), Christiana (DE), Patrick Henry(va), Lynhaven Mall(va), and Pembroke Mall(va) I can help there too. I've worked in all of them, and can tell you which is worth the drive, and which ones to avoid.
  2. thank you!!!!! i knocked out 3 christmas presents with this!
  3. i honestly haven't found any others like this. there are some that are more specific to buying habits (like afullcup.com, couponmom.com, babycheapskate.blogspot.com etc etc) but nothing as good, comprehensive, organized or as up-to-date as gottadeal.com
  4. all of the single items are still $1. The only items that are not $1 are the gift sets, makeup cases etc etc. I posted a thread about this a month ago actually. The one thing I did learn - the makeup is great, but it's def. not hypoallergenic. I had a reaction to the eyeshadow (it literally burned me) so test it out somewhere other than your face before using just to be safe!
  5. I need to find your walgreens! I was just there, saw the Jump Size 3t & 4t Feel & Learns and they were 5.79 - but I had 3 of the $2.00 coupons so I used them up. :) They didn't have the johnson's on clearance, only the bedtime soothing gel and that was sold out (i hated that stuff). There was a lot of great stuff there - this is off topic, but I also grabbed the ghiardello chocolate squares which were marked down to $1.89 and I had a BOGO coupon for that, also grabbed the glade candles which are $1.99, $0.99 after the rebate and I had $1 coupons for THAT, plus I also grabbed Whitman's Sampler which is normally 17.99 but was only 6.99!!! My total savings was $40.60 including coupons - plus I'm sending in for $7.00 worth of rebates and I always get the gift card.
  6. THIS JUST IN! Walgreen's is going to stop selling LUVS diapers. This means that they are clearanced at 75% and MORE off. This is less than $4.00 a package (family/jumbo pack) in most cases!!! I bought one package, going back for more today in various sizes, and am hoping some will still be available come sunday when the coupon hits the circulars!!! I'll use any brand honestly. But LUVS does fit the best now that my DD is cruising so this is great for me. Otherwise I'm a Huggies Girl (for bedtime). :)
  7. thank you! my DD just had a growth spurt so this gives me motivation to go hit the clearance racks!
  8. All targets are running the sale. I verified this with friends in various states. :) The sale covers not only the huggies supreme/gentlecare but ALSO the overnights!!!! any huggies version qualifies. i've a few coupons coming from the mfrs and i'm hoping they arrive by tomorrow so that i can go! otherwise i'll just have to use the few that i have. but honestly, even without the coupons you can't beat that price (if you can please tell me how)
  9. Target has Pamper & Huggies Jumbo packs on sale for $7.50 and this includes the PullUps, EasyUps and Overnight diapers. The LUVS family packs are just $15 right now too. There are coupons out there for the Pampers and Huggies - none yet for Luvs (they'll be in Sunday's circular though!) Plus I've been seeing pampers packages with $1.50 coupons attached to them (and $3.00 off the PullUps/EasyUps too). Target has the "20% more" cans of Similac for $22.00 also. At Fry's/Kroger's Earth's best food (stage 3) is 10 for $10, and if you go to Earth's Best website you can get a coupon for $1 off of 8 jars. Fry's also has the store brand baby care items all on sale for 25% off, and then Johnson & Johnson is on sale for 20% off as is Aveeno Baby Care. BRU also has the cases of RTF formula (6 32oz cans) of Similac Advance, Enfamil Lipil, and Nestle GoodStart on sale for $28. If you buy 9 cases they send you a rebate for 1 free case. Meanwhile, Wal-mart has the ValuPack of Similac (this is 1 25.7oz can & 4 8oz RTF bottles) on sale for only $22.47. Coupon wise: There are always pampers coupons in the P&G saver, plus this past weekend there was a coupon for the 8oz RTF Similac bottles, there were coupons for Johnson&Johnson baby products, a coupon for Aveeno products (including baby), and you can get more from the manufacturer's websites!! there are coupons out there for huggies, and if you are using formula and receive the vouchers/coupon checks this might be the time to use them!!!! All these sales are coming to a close this weekend, I'm not sure how long BRU will have the rebates available for the free case. ok. so i posted this on a mommy site that i belong to (www.phoenixmommies.com) but after looking i don't see these deals posted here and thought i'd share! And in case some haven't realized you can kindof cheat the sales with Target. If the size/item you want isn't available but the sale is still running you can request a raincheck on that item (unless it's posted that it's excluded). The rainchecks are normally good for a month. I'm almost hoping that they are out of luvs so that I can use the raincheck since the coupon won't be out til the day after the sale ends!
  10. I got burned on this promotion I think. I spend the mandatory amount of money after discounts, filled out their forms, sent in the original receipt... and now nothing. I made copies of everything, but they just keep putting you on hold. Had I had known I would've just bought the cheaper version rather than the dockers. (i went for the hotel promotion)
  11. I think this depends on where you live too. Up until recently I lived on the east coast in a very busy area and worked management at one of the malls. We were open EVERY day of the year except for Christmas day. We just had shortened hours on the actual holiday. For example, Thanksgiving day the mall was only open from 10-6. However once BF hit we were open from 8am-10 and progressing to hours like 4am until 1am. Now I live in AZ. It is the first time in my working life where I didn't have to work TD, Easter, etc etc. Which is AWESOME for me, but... at the same time, now that I have those days off -- I wanna shop too.
  12. My daughter is only 1 but we did do the Santa pics for her first Xmas. I figure I'll have the pictures done every year for as long as she'll tolerate it! I did cheat big time - I purchased the cheapest picture I could ($2 for 4 wallets) and then when I got home I scanned them and edited them. By edit I inserted the words "Samira's 1st Christmas 2007" into one of the pillows. There was no way that I was paying $15 for a little 5x7 that is on cheap photo paper.
  13. I guess I'm more of a newbie at saving then I thought. What are the expired coupons used for? I looked at them and all I could do was kick myself for missing out on some of those deals.
  14. excellent. 6 car fresheners, 1 $12 candle, 1 $9.99 candle all for $29.33. Did the math, I saved $17.98! Thank you OP
  15. it always floors me when someone asks this question. i've worked in retail for the past 10 years, imagine my shock when arriving in AZ to work in a new mall and my EMPLOYER asked me about Black Friday. I had mentioned it and asked what time our store opened on Black Friday and he said "I don't know, when is Black Friday?" I told him that it was the day after Thanksgiving and he said "Oh I've never heard of that. Is that Catholic?" asdlkfja How can you be in upper management in retail and not know what black friday is? sheesh. sorry. just had to share.
  16. Ditto. my orders just came in on Saturday - missing a few items, but not very many. My mom however only ordered a few items and apparently all but one were backordered. plus apparently it takes 2 weeks to get the credit for the ones they cancelled. I wonder why they put that some are out of stock when you go to put it in your 'bag' but then others you don't know until your order arrives!!! other than that though, i'm very happy with my purchases. i'm getting some of the gift sets to send out as "new mom" presents
  17. Ok, for the ladies out there you know about E.L.F. makeup from Oprah or People Magazine or just from being frugal. The website is www.eyeslipsface.com Anyway, here's the deal - all the make up there is $1. Unless you are looking at a makeup kit. But $1 is a great price and it's actually really decent makeup. There are 3 things going on there. 1. Place up to $20 worth of merchandise in your shopping bag. Enter coupon code: CAROLINA to receive 50% off (up to $10). 2. Place $10, $15, or $25 worth of merchandise in your shopping bag to receive a free quilted makeup bag. for $10 use the code RED10. for $15 use the code RED15, and for $25 it is RED25. This will get you makeup brush case (10), makeup carryall (15), train case (25). After all that is said and done, before you complete your purchase go to the "Stardust" page/link. Click on the link to receive your free Stardust Gift and to enter for the contest. :) You cannot combine #1 and #2 on this, for a short while you could (about 2 hours) but they got wise and blocked that ability.
