  1. well. i read where it said "one offer code" per order. but i figured that meant that specific code. for example, if you spend $200 in one transaction i don't expect them to give you $30 off twice. i did read the 25% off, it doesn't specify that at all. if they happen to allow us to stack the 25% with the 50% but we can't use it with the $30 off, that's fine with me. chances are with those discounts we won't be spending $100 anyway. if they don't let us stack it - then i think they'd have to give us the 50% off over the 25% off being that i've a coupon. we shall see. i'll post up afterwards how it goes. i actually don't foresee a problem here. i've read all the fine print on them and i don't think they'll reject any of the offers.
  2. do you know if all stores are doing the $30 off $100? do we need a coupon for that? i'm taking my mom up there tomorrow because i have a coupon for 50% off their pants. i'm hoping they combine/stack it with the 25% off.
  3. excellent! thank you! i bought scarves, also some of the clothing sets! i had a customer service issue with them a few months so i had to do it over the phone due to the coupon they issued me - but it was well worth it. ok. the only person left to shop for is my brother. i'm thinking coal.
  4. thank you! this will be a fun stocking stuffer for some of my little cousins
  5. mostly girls stuff (my DD is 14mos). I do have a godson, but he's a teenager now... i just give him gift cards. :)
  6. I used to live @ 175 & Citrus in Surprise. :) Very nice area. I'm way down Bell now, but the name changes to Sun Valley PkWy. There is also a Target at the US 60/Grand & Bell. I just hate going to that one, their customer service is horrible. Every time I try to pay my bill there they say they don't do that in the store -- but every other Target has let me pay bah to them! ok. sorry. i digressed a bit. :) keep me posted if ya'll see any kids stuff go clearanced. i can only make it up to a store 1x every 2 weeks or so.

  8. i boo'd 2 of my neighbors, this is my first year doing it. i basically just filled cauldron's with candy and playdoh tubs and little yo-yo's etc. Thought I was real slick popping them on their doorsteps, ringing the doorbell, and taking off. Only... I forgot to put the boo notes in the cauldron's figures.
  9. Linda.. I think it depends on your area. Not all do it online, that's for sure. Whatever isn't sold at the end of the season is packed up on a truck and sent back to the warehouse for next year. For example, I worked for Spirit Halloween and they obviously do the sale. But I also worked for Halloween Adventure as a teenager (they were owned by Family Game Rooms then) and they did NOT do a 50% off sale. They're under new management now, so they might do it. There's also the Halloween Store - who let their store managers decide if they'll have a 50% off sale. I think that is so if the store manager hasn't made bonus yet they can try to make it up with the sale. The worst part is that the stores will never tell you if they're going to have a sale normally. We weren't allowed to tell our customers at Spirit until Halloween Day. Best bet? Tomorrow call those stores EARLY, basically when they open. Because they'll be slow pretty much from open-12. Then they'll pick up until 5 and chances are won't be able to answer the phone or will hang up on you. Most stores will close at 6 or 7 on halloween night. good luck! oh. and i guess this wasn't very helpful if you're looking to score online deals.
  10. They were 50% off and more at Target in Goodyear, AZ. (crossroads Litchfield & McDowell) purchased 2 of the huge jugs of all free & clear (2.88 each) 1 regular size of gain (2.37?) 1 regular size arm &hammer with a touch of fabric softener (3.xx) they also had all of their breast cancer month stuff at 50% off, which was located in the garden section. picked up visors, gloves, aprons, knee cushions and other gardening items. there is a group of us participating in the strides against cancer walk (11/17 in tempe) so I thought it'd be nice to wear the visors! also a quick check on the scrapbooking/stationary: found scrapbooks and scrapbook kits starting at 2.xx going up to 13.xx a lot of winnie the pooh theme though.
  11. if i read my email correctly, the online store is 50% off right now. the coupon code should work now too. if you want to use it in store, the sale starts 10/31 and you would need to print the coupon out for them. i loved working for that company
  12. anyone know if expired coupons work in the self-checkouts at say frys, target, or walmart?

  14. Coupon Code: XF710D7
  15. msluchi, I don't know anywhere specifically that you can buy it. but. being that i work in the glazing (glass & acrylics) industry - i can tell you that if you go to a company that handles acrylics they can manufacturer one of these for relatively little. if you can't find it pre-made please just message me with your city, and what cities you're willing to travel to to get it and i can look up in my handydandy database who in those areas can make it for you. it has to be a city name though -- zipcodes won't work the way our comps are set up.
  16. yep. or use WLH2725 for the 60% off too. for some reason i didn't get the automatic discount and had to go back and use the code. so just keep track and do the math before you get to that final page!
  17. Thanks! Luckily I had teh email on this because it didn't take the discount off for me automatically. Had to enter in the code. Still excellent! Total was $100+, but after discount it was $56.55 shipped!
  18. for the microwaveable kind: this is one of the few sounds that calms my DD (14mos) down lately. i seriously will microwave bag after bag every day just to calm her. decorations take pieces of white, orange, and black fabric - cut into squares the size of your standard bandana. place a handful of popcorn in the center of each cloth square pull the corners up and rubber band the ball of popcorn in place. next take a piece of fishing line, hook it through that rubber band and hang the popcorn & cloth combo from a tree branch. repeat with all of the materials until no cloth is remaining and until your yard is beautifully decorated for halloween. i also do this with easter egg colors. drawer satchels & closet fresheners: 1. take popped popcorn and either A: stuff into a knee high or B: put in a small bowl/jar 2. Take essence oils (i prefer lavender) and sprinkle onto the popcorn (take it easy killer, i said sprinkle, not drown). 3. place in the back corner of drawers or hang from a coat hook in the closet. If using a bowl/jar you are really limited to just putting it on a shelf in your closet (and goodness i hope you don't have pets)
  19. hmm. the closest carters store is an outlet store. i wonder if they'll do this or honor it.
  20. how long does it normally take to get that first gift card? september was the first month that i participated, and i'm expecting $40 plus the 10%. I did scan everything and save it to my computer just in case. was just curious. was hoping to have it by the end of the month so that i could send in october's and have it added onto the same gift card.
  21. i ordered one too. i never order when i don't know what i'm getting, but this seemed fun. :)
  22. walmart is the only store within 45 miles of my home (unless you count loves gas station). i guess i'm making the long haul up to target, bb, etc. as soon as the boss man leaves the office i'm going to make my call and then also put it on my blog, on myspace, and also on the 'mommiesnetwork' hotline. don't mess with frugal mommies, we'll light a fire so hot under your ass that a trip to hell would be a vacation. OH YEAH. and i also have every email address for every custom framing, craft and art store in the nation as well as canada and u.s. territories. If they really push me I might just have to push that 'send to addressbook' button.
  23. well. it's not specifically the stores you listed, but all luxottica stores (sunglass hut, petite sophisticat, augusta max, the loft, pearl vision, lenscrafters, brookesbrothers, etc etc) normally did their markdowns on thursdays. i'm curious to see how they handle things now though. they recently bought out Oakley (about 2 months ago) and all of their retail stores so I wonder if we'll see Oakley's go on sale now.
  24. thanks! i didn't get the curio cabinet, but i did use the discount to get a 2 piece suit for court!!! ($12.74 plus .99 shipping)
  25. Honestly my eyes went straight to children's apparel since no toys were listed.... $7.99 (carters) is not a very good deal, at least not what I would expect for BF shopping considering you can get that price just about every weekend at most big retailers There might be other good $$ on that list, but.. I guess you can see what I'm looking for this year.
