i miss the handcrafted toys actually. where i lived in nj we had an Amish Farmers Market (rt 42 south in Williamstown if you're looking) and I always bought toys for my GS there. I called his mother and asked her to keep a lookout there for specific items and told her I'd pay s&h and the cost of the toys if she found them.

keep in mind for their B&M stores - if their mall is opening early so will Gymboree. For example, if the mall is open that day at 6am then Gymboree opens at 6am. If you live near one of these malls, and want to get to Gymboree before the store gets demolished I would get yourself there early. :)

thank you! I will definately be making my way over there after BRU. I need more fabric & batting anyway
-
dear lord. how much is that sew simple adjust dress form???? ACK price is cut off. those are so expensive, if i could find a good deal on that i would probably skip all other stores (well. except BRU)

I don't know if they do a BF sale. I actually was planning to call them today to see what time they're opening. I'll keep you posted. As for flyers, they normally will post one every week in the local rinky dink papers that has a 40% off coupon. For example, the big paper here is the AZ Republic, but inside of it you'll get your town's personalized republic, and 1x/week you'll get the free local newspaper. HTH

i understand the perspective of this... at the same time.. my first year out on my own was tough. the first christmas not living at home was a strange feeling because you don't know where you stand. i remember my parents felt that since i didn't live with them anymore, they felt it was appropriate to just send a card. can't fault them for that. but as a teenager on your own. i don't know. i think that your son would very much appreciate a gift card to a store he frequents (like a grocery store or walmart etc) plus probably something fun that he might want - he's a teenager. it's not til he's been on his own for a few years that he'll realize he doesn't want toys/fun things as much as he wants sock and gas for his car! as far as the gf -- i don't know. she's not your kin (yet) so i'd probably keep it small. but get them a little gift for their home that they can share. (and i don't mean tp)

normally when i was a manager at the holiday seasons it depended on how many employees i had. If it was less than 10 I gave more personal gifts - gift card to their fave store with a christmas ornament & homemade cookies/candies. More than 10... well it normally becomes a generic visa gift card in a tiny little christmas stocking with the employee's name on it. For the current situation though, what about this: Fix up the breakroom as previously mentioned -then put up little stockings with each employees name on it and a $5-10 gift card, in the stocking also throw in a tiny creamer, a plastic coffee stirrer, a sweetNlow (or splenda or whatever), and a mint/candy cane. -for his management/specialist type employees do all of the above and also a special coffee mug just for them - either personalized or something with a phrase/image they'd appreciate hth

updated the list. Confirmed FYE - KINDA. It is going to be varying by region. Called 11 different locations. Most fall into the 7am/8am time frame if they are stand alone, if they are inside a mall they will open per the mall hours. Scanner420 - I'm going to call target up again. I had confirmed it with a cashier but I'll ask management this time around. Thanks for the heads up. NM. went and looked at the circular. says in big ole print 6am-9am savings. sidenote: took me forever to find this, didn't realize it was moved. (but hey, i do feel special )

samisma replied to BoulderChick's topic in 2007

lol i hope you know i didn't mean any offense. i haven't forgotten what i was like when i was preggo yet.
-
ditto. i don't have a scanner or access to one, otherwise i'd scan it and send it in.
-
welp. I can't speak for lexyreyes72.. But I sure would like to know what time they're opening, or if they're going to keep regular store hours.
-
two more added. if you know specific stores etc keep them coming. also if there are any stores i'm missing that you want opening times for post em up so i can look into it. on a side note: i probably won't update this over the weekend. i'm participating in a cancer walk (strides against breast cancer) plus i try to spend all of my weekend & evenings with DD.

1. OJ is a must. there's a reason why it cures hangovers 2. Get yourself some vitamin B6 3. Get some ginseng tea 4. If you are driving, keep the heat at a minimum. It'll make you more sleepy if you are too warm. Also, at brief intervals open the windows wide and blast yourself with some cold air. Your passengers won't like it, but darn if it's not refreshing and eyepopping. 5. There are energy drinks out there that do NOT have caffiene in them. I forget what it's called but GNC had it last year - comes in a metal can. My co-workers drank it and seriously it was like the woman was on speed. But she was on point so I can't complain. 6. Eat a good meal after you wake up. You'll need the fuel. 7. STAY HYDRATED. Drink as much WATER as you can while you are at work. It's amazing, but the more hydrated you are the more energy you'll have. er.. and please hit those little quote buttons before you respond.. lol i'm having a hard time telling what you're saying and what you're responding too. just my 2 cents of course. good luck -
cut, carat weight, color, clarity. lol you might want to go here first: http://www.diasource.com/fourcs.htm alot of women are very particular to cuts and it's a personal thing. some love the princess cut, others prefer round, a select few really like the emerald & marquis too. clarity refers to inclusions and blemishes and those are usually carbon spots - sometimes they're black in appearance and really noticeable (put it down. don't buy it) sometimes it's just a whisp of white or you really need to stare crosseyed through the view to see any imperfections. color and carat weight are pretty obvious. but go to the above site before you start shopping.

Here are a few that I know of: Save $10 Instantly on Shrek the Third with the purchase of $30 worth of participating products (bounty, mr. clean, gain, puffs, cheer, millstone coffeeetc) between 11/13-11/27 if you use your Club Card at the following stores: safeway, fresh values, vons, value plus, randall's remarkable, tom thumb, genuardi's. Buy Shrek the Third for $19.99 and get a free 12oz Crunch N Munch and a free 6pak ActII Popcorn pak. Valid Nov 13-21st at Frys Grocery I thought someone out there had the DVD for $15 but I can't remember who - anyone else know of deals for this movie?

156 KB Toys Stores nationwide to close
samisma replied to dee16's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
luckily none by me are closing. they have the most affordable toys normally. the few that are closing in az are so far from me that i don't even feel a ripple. -
Supposedly we're getting rain on Thanksgiving Day with our temps being H72/L44. Black Friday it's supposed to be Sunny with temps being H73/L50 I honestly might die from shock if it rains on Turkey Day here. I've only seen rain a handful of times since moving to this state, and it didn't last more than 2-5 minutes.
