I searched and didn't see another thread specifically about this, so if it's out there I'm sorry. I am still waiting on my rebates from September. I'm expecting $47 and I elected to do the gift card so it would have an additional 10%. I checked their website and it says it has no record of my rebates. I did photocopy and scan all the rebates and receipts to my computer. How long should I wait before calling Walgreen's? Is this a common occurrence? I had $3 in rebates for October to submit, but didn't because I still hadn't received september's... Not to worried about $3, but I'm expecting to have a decent amount this month and I don't want to miss out.

Less bad in comparison to where? If you're shopping in Rhode Island this year, where are you trying to compare it to? RI is decently populated, I would imagine the lines would be just as bad. Only places I could see it being worse is NYC, etc. I'm curious to about differences. I know NJ was brutal. Last year I worked it here in AZ - and my BOSS didn't know what black friday was - i had to explain it to him. The only places I saw lines at were kids stores and BB

so disney store here in AZ is supposedly opening at 2 am (per the employee). So I'm at a loss for what time I should get there to line up. this is my main stop this year (and then i'm on to target). any ideas for when i should get there? i know from working at this mall the doors will be locked, but i'm wondering if i park by the main entrance if i can get in around 10-11pm. this is my first year trying to toy shop.

i got everything i ordered a few days ago actually. they sent it along with a 50% off coupon for pants. Used it in store in combo with the $30 off $100 & 25% off sale. I had emailed them to complain that they sent a coupon for instore only and they said that I could place the order online, then call customer service and they would adjust it for me. (yahoo!)

BF 2004 I was working at Cherry Hill Mall (nj)... Do you know those days where you're driving around, cruising for a spot and you think you've found one only to see at the last minute it's a tiny car? Well. I owned the tiny car then. Security came marching into my store on BF to escort me out to my car, not telling me anything and I see a gentleman there flipping out because he tried to park on top of my car. Swearing and screaming that I had cut him off and took the spot and that's why he didn't see my car. I had already been there for 4 hours. Then he yelled and hollared at me saying that mall employees shouldn't be allowed to use the parking lot and that my car was too small etc etc. And that he would get me fired. So I went back to work and 30 minutes later he came in and asked to speak with the manager of my business... ahh.. how much fun it was to say that I was the manager.. anyway. i digress. i was really furious about the whole situation. there was some vindication in it for me in that Mr. LincolnTownCar messed up the front of his car and then in his attempts to get me in trouble failed miserably (on multiple fronts). i was more than a little bit upset that my christmas presents that were in the trunk ended up all mangled and destroyed. victory was mine though. he had to pay for repairs, i had receipts for the items in the trunk and he agreed to pay for those (actually his wife made him), his wife also made him write me a letter of apology for his behavior. that wife of his, nice lady.

If you're interested in doing BF in AZ this year let me know. I didn't get to go out last year because my DD was too young. This year I've lined up a babysitter, it'll be my first BF shop in AZ, but I have a general understanding of the area. OH! And I talked to the disney store folks at Arrowhead Mall yesterday - the store is opening at 2am on BF.

it was great saved 80 (they let us use all the discounts). i don't expect to always be that lucky though. the sales associate did tell me that every week they'll have a different featured item that's on sale. she 'thinks' that next week it's jackets/coats, then blouses, etc etc
