They are the kind that can get wet and you can wipe them clean. Target carries books in their Dollar Spot and each holiday season had a board book for $1. These are by the regular books on the holiday display. I bought Velveteen Rabbit at Chrismas and just picked up a bunny and duck book for my grandson's Easter basket. I read to my daughter the day I brought her home from the hospital, we have read to my granddaughter since she arrived and they both love to read. We are now doing the same with my grandson, 5 months old, and he loves to listen to the words. It is wonderful you are giving your child the gift of books.

We used coupons last night and the manager came by to give them back and tell us we could continue to use them until they expire. The restaurant was packed. The waitress said it had been that way since the coupon came out.

We have some resale shops around us called Once Upon A Child. They have great, gently used baby items. They even have items with the original store tags still attached. I bought my grandson 12 outfits for $40 - all new with the original store tags in place.

Watch the clearance after Vday for candy. I don't know about full size candy bars but they have the minis for Vday. My sister gave my niece a party and she filled different size glass cylinders (like you put candles in) with different candies. She bought them after Easter. Jelly beans, sweet-tarts, candy coated licorce bites, etc. They were colorful and made a great display.

If I am out shopping and a gift card has less than $2 I give it to the next person in line. If I am on-line I ususally try to find something, like upgraded shipping cost, that will use the difference. Even if I spend and extra $1 it is better than throwing away gift card with a balance. I think there is already a thread for this type of giving/trading on this board. Sorry I can't remember the name but I'm sure someone will know.

My granddaughter needs a swimsuit with a long tourso (body). I was thinking the plus size would give her more room. A 2 piece isn't an option. Does anyone know where to find some? I checked Kohls and Sears but didn't find any. Thanks in advance.

It was on an end cap in the section by dishes and the other travel mugs. Near the wall display of kitchen gadgets. Hope you find one. They had 2 and the lid to the other one was broken.

The Vogel Rd store in Arnold MO had the Halloween Barbies for $2.74 last night. They were still marked $6 but scanned $2.74. Funny my granddaughter (age 9) has crossed over to the Target clearance dark side. DD picked it up and said it was still $6 dgd said "Oh wait, I'll scan it that tag is probably wrong." She has learned from shopping with me never trust a red tag price.
