How close do you live to Branson? We drove there from the St Louis area last weekend. There is a Coach outlet in the outlet mall there and they had Coach bags for 40% off. They carry a large collection of purses/bags/wallets, etc. The other thing you might do is watch this deal finder forum for a coupon. A few times a year Coach mails out coupons to their customers. Sometimes people are willing to give/trade these to others.

My nephew is a huge online video gamer and loves to go to competitions or conventions. Maybe you could check out the type of game he likes and see if they have something in your area. They are usually at a hotel, so, tickets to the event and a hotel room might be a gift idea. Does he have an iphone or portable device to play his games on? My son-in-law loves to play online poker on his iphone. Is this a possibility? Does he travel or drive often? What about a navigator system?

Playmobil released a new line yesterday - Egyptian. My dgd already had the items marked in the catalog she would like to have. I hope someone has it on sale before Christmas.

1. In your opinion, what store had the best Black Friday ad last year (2008) and why? Target had the best ad, but the 24 hr WalMart priced matched at midnight. 2. What would be your #1 piece of advice to someone totally new to Black Friday? Take the ads with you. 3. Besides offering great deals, what else can a store do to get you to shop there on BF? Have a fully trained staffed and have the items in easy accessible places, not hidden in unknown departments around the store.

Hallmark Movie Channel has been showing Christmas movies all month. I have watched Ebbie, The Day They Saved Christmas, A Boyfriend for Christmas and a couple others. The bad part of watching these on HMC is the never ending info-commercials. It seems like they last 20 minutes. Once I forgot what movie I was watching because they lasted so long. I have watched a movie on Starz too, I think it is called This Christmas. It was a good story about a family reuniting for Christmas after several years apart.

I don't shop on BF but our offices are closed. I have worked that day in the past. If Christmas Eve is a work day we close at 3pm. I always turn in my vacation schedule in Jan for the following year to make sure I have 1/2 day Vday & Halloween for the kids parties. Then always schedule 12/26. I do shop the day after Christmas.

I think other retailers will offer good deals on electronics to draw shoppers into the stores or their online sites in hope they will make additional purchases.

Check croc.com or 6pm.com some reasonable prices can be found there. Curious has she tried on a pair? I tried on a pair and because I wear a half size one whole size it too small and the other too large.
