  1. Even if they are going to go to 75%, which is doubtful as they didn't last year at most stores, then if they went 50% last week, it would not likely be tomorrow. It would be next week.
  2. I just entered the DPCI on Target.com and yes it is. Gonna have to take a look around for that one.
  3. Yeah, I would have made the cashier call a manager. They would have honored it. And if they didn't I'd have gone back and found another mispriced item somewhere in the store and called the county weights and measures on them. Stores can't afford to get fined too often for incorrect scanner pricing, so the managers generally honor it. And those stickers are designed to turn white if you try to remove them so they would know you didn't swap it out.
  4. Yeah, that's truly uncool. Decent people just don't do that. I've certainly gone through carts that look like go-backs, and have no problem doing it. But if you have a kiddo sitting in it, that's just wrong. I had my son with my this time and made him guard the cart for me.
  5. Did you leave your cart unattended at any point? If so, someone might have legitimately thought it was a go-backs cart. Not that I would doubt that someone would sneak something like that out of someone else's cart...but if you leave it unattended, it is just plain likely to happen.
  6. Out of 8 or 9 stores here, I've only seen the full Valentine's set in 2. Expect to see them this week.
  7. Well, it was a bummer that most items were gone. There were no Cars or Legos left. However, I did force the issue with the Playmobil Nativity & Advent Calendar. They were not on the exclusion list, and you cannot claim that a nativity set or advent calendar are not Christmas. If you still have time and want to do the same, it is useful to print off the sale flyer from the website. The signs in the Christmas section also say the same thing. I was able to pull it up on my smart phone to show them. They weren't thrilled, but they honored it. I was able to use my Rewards coupons too, so they were free.
  8. Okay, for all those who partook of the toy clearance, a lady at one of the stores I was shopping Thursday asked said to me, "You know about the Hasbro free toy offer, right?" Surprisingly, I did not. I am usually all over those kinds of offers, but I missed it. So, if you aren't already aware of it, if you spend at least $20 on Select Hasbro Toys (pretty big range), then you can turn in your receipts with a form and choose a free toy. Not as good as when they were giving those rebate checks a few years ago, but I'll take it. Up to 5 offers per person/address. So, if you haven't heard of it either, here is the link: http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/supercharge/
  9. Oh, yes, didn't mean to imply you didn't. But not everyone may realize it. There were also some international team shirts marked 75% off as well, so it is a real agglomeration of teams. Pretty much, if it is a team shirt, it is worth a check. Funny, though, the USC shirts locally were still 30% while most of the rest were 75%. Found quite a few of them folded on those tables in mens.
  10. Oh, that is a shame! They have boatloads of them out here. Too bad shipping would cost so much. It would probably run $20 to ship cross country. Then you are back at the 50% price!
  11. Oh....it PAINS ME! I think I would be sick if I missed. There were still 8 Circo Train Tables at the Pasadena East store if anyone is in this area. Tons and tons of the Big Foot Monster at every store I have been to as well as that video game cycle thing. I can't remember what it is called, but it was popular last year.
  12. It says that in the sale flyer too. There are a few exclusions.
  13. That warning about the dolls reminds me....If you are buying any of the large Lego sets, the ones that are usually in the $100 range, be sure to check them carefully. A few years back one I bought and put back had been opened and returned with junk in it. It has some legos to sound right and they put the junk in for weight. But it was not what I bought. If it looks tampered with, open it it up and reseal it because it is a lot of money for that kind of disappointment!
  14. The team stuff tends to vary by region. We don't have those available here. We have Dodgers, Angels, etc.
  15. Interesting. They were scanning full price at our stores a couple of days ago. Will have to check it out.
  16. I know someone mentioned flannel PJs in mens, but they also marked the Christmas sets with a Tshirt & flannels 75% off. I got smurfs & the grinch for myself. I like those big floppy flannels better than some of the women's pjs. They also marked several of the mens tshirts for sports teams and the old style advertising (miller beer, cereals, mountain dew) 75% and some plain sweaters. If anyone sees the megaball and the camping stuff go 75% today or next week, please post. I have been stalking a couple of items, but most of the stores around here are already sold out. I don't want to miss going back in case they do it today. For those looking for kid's bikes, the boxed ones all seem to be marked down. Not the ones already put together, but the ones you have to assemble. There is also the cutest Mini Cooper car that is on sale at some stores. it is yellow.
  17. Given the other response, and the fact that you won't likely find another one at Target, you should definitely try it out. If it is defective, you might want to see if Walmart or Kohls or some store with a liberal return policy carries them in your area and try to exchange there. They can return it to the manufacturer if it is defective. The other choice is to try to get the manufacturer to replace it. You have 90 days to return it to Target, regardless, so you have the time to try to do this. Given that most stores seem to have marked them to 50% yesterday, IF they are going to mark them again, I think it will be another 2 weeks. I think, though, that they probably won't mark them down more.
  18. Forgot to note that Legos were 50% here at all stores. BOO HOO!! I did take a couple of big Star Wars sets at that price. FYI, the redbox Spy set is all made by and is exactly the same as the regular stuff from Wild Planet in their Spy Gear line. I checked it out when it went 50% and bought a set. Exactly the same merchandise, just repacked for Target.
  19. Going back in the morning in hopes of finding the camping stuff I need. I am the only one in the family who doesn't have a new sleeping bag and we need a few other things. Hopefully it will go tomorrow. I am glad others have posted their's went down.
  20. Cool!! That tells me where to go. :-)
  21. anyone finding legos down to 75%? Please tell me the guy told me bad info!! It will also determine which store I go to first this morning. I am horribly limited since I have to pick up DS from an overnight field trip (which means he'll probably want to go home and sleep at 11am!!).
  22. anyone been out this morning? They are probably all still out, I guess!
  23. I was told that the Legos will not go 75%, and I am inclined to believe it. Last year only a handful of the Lego sets did go all the way to 75%. Most were salvaged at 50%. Fortunately I had bought them at 50 and figured I would return them if they went down more, but they did not. Seems like some stores did take theirs all the way down and some stores took a few sets, but I guess if there is something you really want, you may want to do what I did last year and have it ready to return if they go lower. I went ahead and bought one set today at 50% that DS wanted for Christmas. His birthday isn't that far away.
