They've been doing the price cut thing for a long time. They do it to match cuts at Walmart, mostly, but sometimes because they have an overabundance of an item that comes as an assortment and they have new assortments on the way in the pipeline. They do also do it sometimes to deplete inventory before clearance, but I have found that less often. Not sure what Walmart's new gimic is, though. What did you mean? Anyone still seeing the Nerf toys on clearance? They had Dart Tag sets marked down (the old style) and they disappeared when they did the action figure reset with the new movie toys this weekend.

Yes, at least some of it will. Some items will just move to the regular aisles. Depends if it is a normal store item. They always fill the mini seasonal area with bulk between holiday/seasonal periods.

They do in states where it is allowed. Here they are able to sell it on Sunday also. A few of ours are getting full liquor licenses and selling hard liquor too. Probably testing it at this point given how rare it still is.

Lego Space Police Galactic Enforcer FINALLY went 75% today. Got it for $25. Most of the rest stayed at 30%, a few things went 50%. Bakugan stuff went 75% (at least some of it at some stores).

The water balls break after a while outside. The plastic breaks down and the blow out is messy. Recent experience informs me....The sky balls really can go pretty high, though. The water balls I don't find very special. The boys go out front with neighbors and have bouncing contests to see who can go highest.

Mighty Beanz are back to full price, so avoid those.The easter Hot Wheels Say Easter Rides on the side and have eggs on the lower left.

They have a number of things clearanced for the mid-season revise of the department. Lots of new movie toys coming out like Cars 2. The big toy clearance starts in July and ends at the end of July or early August.

Told ya'll the beanz would go back to regular price today. They did the same at Christmas. Always worth a try on the salvage. If you get the right cashier they'll just ask you the price. I got a few more odds and ends today.

Found Thomas Trackmaster Easter sets in the regular aisle for $1.49.

Actually, here only series 1 & 2 were in the Easter section, but all of them are on sale $.29 right now. No joy on Webkinz. THey would not budge.

Did you have to argue about the Webkinz? They've been ringing up full price here.

Ended up needing to go back out, so I stopped by Duarte, CA store and it was 90%. The Jelly Bellys I stuck in the regular aisle were still there and 75% which makes DS happy. Got some good candy and forced the issue with the Pokemon cards that were still there. They don't usually mark them down, but they have remained there the entire time, so they gave them to me.

Signs say 70% or more. Most is actually 75%. Weird signage change. Brand name candy mostly 50%, but shaped bunnies and some other candy is 75%. I'd be shocked if they held off till the 5th to salvage. If they go beyond the 2nd or 3rd, I'd be amazed.

That is definitely a difference. I will certainly argue. It is their job to move them out if they aren't supposed to be there, and if they don't want to honor it, I'll happily call the county on them. My primary store already has a scanner fraud conviction posted prominently on the front door. And it wasn't me who called. Target still has the Wekinz in the Easter bags ringing full price. Those are not regular merchandise, the little tag directly on the plush rings INF, and they are all in the Easter stuff. The Club Penguin is also ringing full price and the box they come in are clearly marked Easter Mini Seasonal, so they are also not regular merchandise. They just aren't doing a good job on the computer side. It happened after Christmas & Vday also, and they corrected it within a day or so. So far they haven't on these yet.

LOL! If they are the "undercover" guys and you know they are following you, they aren't doing a very good job at their job! To become one of them, they had to move up from being a uniformed guard a the door. Regarding the dollar spot, the new stuff that they are bringing in appears to be orange dot, but the orange is really red. A great deal of confusion yesterday regarding this and I ended up getting several things half price that were probably new. Also, a lot of the Easter stuff is not ringing up on sale, but they have it in the section with the signs, so I made them honor the sale price. Just be sure to scan and be prepared to argue if necessary. Maybe they'll have it straightened out today, but I doubt it.

Got a few goodies from the post-Easter sale, but most stuff is gone. A couple stores didn't even have any candy to speak of.

They had it marked half price as a sale price here. Yeah, I have had that happen too. I just make a point of being the perfect customer to give them nothing to get excited about. Most of the employees know me at my regular stores, but I've still felt like I was being stalked occasionally. Not much you can do unless it happens a few times. But if you think it happens BECAUSE of your son, I'd raise a real stink. And you want to do it with someone who is at the assistant manager or higher level. If you have never been sure who that was (and they try to keep it from being obvious), show up when the store opens at 8 and whoever unlocks is definitely at least an assistant manager or the general manager. You can also write a complaint on the website. They are pretty good about responding to those and the info goes to the store GM.

Funny, I've seen them increasing a LOT of prices lately. Yesterday on the news I also heard that Target was one of the few retailers who did not make their numbers for the quarter. Could it be related?....

You can't, unless it is something different than what I think they are talking about. I got the booklet also. It is random according to Target. I asked a while back, and so have others. I get them at my current address for someone who lived here years ago. But even then you don't get them consistently.

They didn't have any at these 3 stores so I don't know. sorry.

I got the warming tray & buffet server (appetizer one) for 75% off today. $7.48 & $12.48. They marked almost all that stuff 75% today here. a few things didn't go down'

It seems to vary pretty widely. One of my stores said 30% additional. I'm stalking a nice Canon.
