  1. They'll all be clearance after Christmas since they are being discontinued. Same with Power Miners, Atlantis & Space Police.
  2. You can price match at Target for them and get more colors
  3. you know, I feel like there just aren't any great deals period. I've gone through all the posted ads and there is just nothing that is calling my name. The Toys R Us ad doesn't even have a Lego deal this year! Target's Lego deal is for a couple of discontinued sets, and they are only about 40% off this year instead of the usual half. There are only a few things that I'll bother with, but this year's BF is REALLY disappointing as far as I am concerned.
  4. They are $9.49 at TRU right now through the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
  5. That is so funny. My kids don't want the DSi at all (not even the XL) because they have a ton of old Gameboy games (Pokemon & Kirby especially) that they would not be able to play anymore. The Pokemon games can migrate the creatures between games, so it is great to have access to all their games. The DSi doesn't have a Gameboy slot for them like the DSLite does. So, I am looking for a DS lite deal to have a backup for when theirs go kaput. One already is having problems with the hinge causing video blips... SO if anyone sees a deal on the DS lite, I'd love to hear it!
  6. I am pretty disappointed with the BF ad. Maybe that is why it came out so late. There isn't much reason for me to sweat getting there super early.
  7. Thanks! I don't like her as well. Just not the same cuteness level. Too bad. Kind of like what Hasbro is doing with Blythe and LPS. The new Blythe is just creepy. A lot of LPS collectors are avoiding her. I don't know how the Blythe community feels.
  8. I know it is off topic, but what are they doing with Kelly? Hate the Mini Bs.
  9. walmart does not clearance nationwide, so YMMV. it is a store by store thing with them.
  10. Found virtually nothing but my own stashes. Aisles nearly stripped bare. Did find some Halloween candy in the regular aisles. Look for the M&M snack packs with the coupon on it. The coupon expired yesterday, but they are generally the Halloween ones. Also found Hershey's Miniatures in fall packaging and Tootsie rolls that were not midgees all in the regular candy aisle.
  11. Sounds like an online return. They had multipacks online.
  12. Yup, heard that about KS & MO. In CA you get the current price if that is store policy. Seems like someone in NJ said they get the price paid, too.
  13. They can't tell you because they don't know. It comes through corporate. That is why the signs are often wrong. They wait until things start ringing at the lower price, then they change the signs. Holiday clearance is different from regular clearance in this way.
  14. This varies by state. In most areas you can only return for the lowest sale price. Some states don't allow that. Just give it a go and see what happens.
  15. We still have them around here. A lot of people, our family included, think they are too creepy.
  16. No, actually, Kmart is more profitable than Sears. Funny, huh?
  17. Still 50% here in SG Valley. If anyone is in the area and looking, Duarte, CA has a lot more left than any other store around here. Especially candy & costumes. Although Pasadena's Lake store had a lot of costumes and they were well organized. Saw a half cart full of Oreos at Duarte. Didn't buy any as the kiddos are off Oreos right now for some reason.
  18. they always come a week apart. Target should be in this week's paper. They should also be putting out the coupons in the store.
  19. that orange font is REALLY hard to read
  20. Contacting corporate is good, but contact your local Bureau of Weights & Measures. Usually the same government agency that checks scanner prices and makes sure gas pumps are accurate also handle this. It is usually at a county level and they will send investigators right out and the store gets fined. it has a much bigger impact than just calling corporate. Often the problem is at a corporate level.
  21. It was Azusa. They don't have a lot of good clearance yet since they are still new. You might also try Upland. They seemed interesting. I stopped there last weekend for the first time.
  22. It was the Halloween napikins & paper towels. If you have a busy store, they probably sold out within 5 minutes of opening. There were about 10 women racing to the back yesterday at my regular store and I ended up splitting the napkins with one of them. I only got 5 packs at that store. I didn't find them at any other store but one yesterday, and got lucky that they had an entire endcap and I was able to stock up for the year and still leave a good bit on the shelf. Those usually sell out really fast because they don't get that cheap otherwise. Actually, the paper towel deal is only so-so, I might even return those today since I only got a few and I think the current deal with gift card might be as good or better a deal. The napkins, though ARE a good deal. We only use the Bounty ones since we got fed up with the cheap ones being so cheap as to be useless and $1.49 is a great price for them.
  23. Oh, forgot to add that Polly Pockets were ringing up full price.
  24. Found only a few napkins at first few stores, then hit the motherload at a newly opened store and am stocked for the year (I just finished using up last year's Halloween napkins this past week!). They still had a fair amount left after I did my damage. Orange center Oreos are 50% off. The other key on the chip bags is that it says 23 rather than 22 on the bag. Haven't found them yet, though. Not much left but costumes in the stores I hit. Almost no toys or anything else.
