  1. I haven't had coupon problems, but they would not do a price adjustment yesterday on some stuff I bought a couple days earlier. Both are ad items and they just said the system would not let them do it. So I walked in and re-bought both items and hauled them up to guest services and returned them on the original receipt. Very, very annoying.
  2. Don't know about the rest of you, but I don't think I'll find much left tomorrow. I mostly want the napkins & paper towel, but they are pretty cleaned out. Unless there is more in the back, I think it will be slim pickins in the morning.
  3. I have to agree that it is worth trying another store if you have one. Or simply another employee. However, with the wallet, it could have been a return where someone did a switcheroo and returned a non-Target item. I've seen a LOT of that around here. It is a particular problem with collectible toys. We have had a rash of people buying the collector's action figures, switching them out for cheapos from the dollar store and returning the packages to Target (and Walmart & TRU). We've heard other reports on here of similar shenanigans. I bought a big Lego castle a few years ago on clearance only to discover it had been returned with a bunch of junk in the box to make it seem like the right weight. Pretty sad. I also agree it is very worthwhile getting to know the employees of a particular store. It is especially helpful to get to know them by name without having to look at their badge & to say hi to them by name when you see them around the store away from the registers. Commiserate with them when they are sick and when they are getting treated badly (which happens a lot at Target on the registers). I have a LOT fewer problems with coupons like you describe because of this. And I genuinely like the employees I have taken the time to get to know. They are nice people and they like making people happy when they can. I had to laugh at the comment about waiting to have someone else open. I have one store where there are 2 older male employees who literally just throw my stuff into the bags, they are crabby and nothing ever goes smoothly. I WILL NOT checkout at their lanes unless I am buying something that cannot be damaged by them and without coupons or issues. UGH!
  4. Yep. I checked also. Ours is only 15%, and only costumes and costume accessories.
  5. Pretty sure that only costumes are clearance at this point. Nothing else is marked down yet as far as I am aware. Anyone know for sure?
  6. toy catalog is posted on the black friday page.
  7. Here is linda06's coupon: http://view.ed4.net/v/7OBTX4/KVX2L/TUD5C2E/WLP0IR/MAILACTION=1&FORMAT=H?csm=164291388&csc=1115437&csa=163873288&csu=1118452
  8. If it was a link, I'll send you a PM with my email address. You can email me, and I'll post for you.
  9. Would LOVE it if you could post the coupon. I didn't see it in my email. I didn't get the ones that were posted here last week either, but they did honor them with my card, no problem. I am taking DS there tomorrow to look for a DS accessory & game.
  10. Yes. They are on clearance here. I wish they would clear them all out. They are so creepy! I HATE that aisle! My son used to get creeped out when they were on an end cap. He'd warn me when we approached the area to walk on the other side so I would not set them off!
  11. The new policy is detailed in this week's ad, including how the pharmacy thing works.
  12. They use both the 10% & 5% stacked through the end of the period the 10% ones are issued. No idea on the pharmacy thing, never bothered with it. It doesn't start till Sunday.
  13. Little TV didn't work out for me, as I feared might be the case. Poor signal where I needed to use it. Nice little TV, though, so if you need something, it is decent.
  14. Only if you have cable and can get a hookup in there. I haven't had a chance to try mine yet. Just charged it.
  15. I wanted it because I have my business inventory in a location where I need to work and get bored. I have a radio, but sometimes a small TV would be ideal, so it was a perfect choice (so long as I can get a signal, if not, back it goes). The iPod things seem like a total waste to me, though. So, I guess that is why they have all these things for us to choose what we need. :-)
  16. Just opened it. It has a rechargeable battery. It also has an AC adapter and a cigarette lighter adapter for the car. It has an antenna plug for an antenna that comes with it, or you could plug cable into as long as it has that single plug with the little needle-like part that sticks out. What the heck is that kind of plug called? Anyway, it also has an AV cable to plug in a DVD player.
  17. In CA there is a recycling fee for all electronics. I've never understood it, thought as it isn't like we can just drop it off a the store for recycling. We still have to find a place to take it. It is illegal in most states to throw these kinds of things in the dumpster because of the heavy metals and other toxic stuff inside.
  18. found the little 10.2" digital tv for $44. The $16 electronic waste disposal fee was a bit to choke on, but I got it anyway....
  19. Has good reviews on Amazon. Digital signal varies from area to area, so you would probably have to check it yourself. I have been watching them too. Our stores have been a day behind, so I am hopeful tomorrow.
  20. Only if they are on the clock. If someone is off the clock, on break or finished with their shift, they are free to buy. I've seen them take their break and grab the markdowns.
  21. I believe it is this one since it is the only one on the website that shows local availability. Haier 3.5 cu ft Freezer
  22. I think they all got them this summer with the school stuff for some reason. They were in the sunday flyer one week. The stores that still have them have them with those small fridges. They are not a normal product they carry.
  23. That sounds like 75%. I guess you are just ahead of us. I had hoped they'd go here, but maybe I need to type the number in...
  24. you mean the little digital tvs? are they 75%? here they are marked 30%
  25. Got 2 more ereaders today. That's it. I have to decide whether to keep them or let my friend have them and do without myself. No more at any surrounding stores. :-( Also got Zelda Phantom Hourglass for the DS at $8.74 & Bakugan for the DS (the one with the bonus Bakugan) for $4.98.
