  1. Starting at 5pm today through 12 noon tomorrow, spend $75 get a $10 gift card. No other restrictions I could see. I have a couple of $5 off $50 coupons and may do grocery shopping since I am done with Christmas.
  2. Read the coupons. They usually say one Target coupon per transaction or something like that. Probably not, but you can always try. If you decide to try, don't ask, and it is always best to be buying more than one thing if you are trying do something like that. Maybe batteries or something else from electronics, but I doubt you'll have success.
  3. I'd try the price match then take the coupon in later in the day.
  4. bummer. missed this entirely!
  5. worst black friday ever. bought almost nothing.
  6. The titles vary from store to store this time, as do the prices. Some stores are only 30-50% off. Still some good deals. I didn't see much that was great, but got a couple of 3DS games for stocking stuffers.
  7. Oh, yeah, if you have a Lego store near you it is a good deal. They do scratchers and you get a percent off your whole purchase. You have to get in line with an item and then you get the scratcher. I usually will buy a bunch of small sets one at a time to get more scratchers to try for the 50% off one. I have never gotten more than 30% off, so far, but even that is worth it. You can buy a little minifigure pack and get a scratcher, so I will probably do a bunch of those this year. If you get the higher value scratcher, you can go back and buy more stuff, so that's the way I work it. They know me at the store and they are pretty cool. We buy a LOT of Legos!
  8. If it isn't published, it is up to the store manager. I can tell you, though, that sometimes the item will get replenished if they have more. A couple of years ago they had a Lego Airplane half off and it kept getting cleared out and replenished. I've seen it happen with some electronics too. Just depends on how hot the item is and if they got many. But worth checking.
  9. I am not even sure I am going to bother with Black Friday this year. I went ahead and bought 2 Nintendo 3DS' when they had a $25 gift card. I think that is still the best deal I've seen. I've seen the special edition ones for BF with the games, but the only one the boys would want would be the Zelda version, and I think it was only at Game Stop. I got almost all the games I wanted to get them when TRU had them buy 2 get one free. I bought 3 of each game (generally they each want the same DS games) and sold the 3rd one on ebay for at or really near full price, so my final price was much better. Nothing I've seen in any of the ads has me much interested. My mom nearly fainted when I said I thought I'd skip it this year. I haven't missed it a single year (except when I was living abroad) in the last 23 years. I MAY make a trip to the Lego store for Brick Friday since I always get the Christmas set and want the other special edition one, but that's it. Sorry, know this is somewhat OT, but it has been pretty quiet around hear lately. :-)
  10. anyone else as disappointed as I am in the black friday ad?
  11. I bought some items a few days ago at 75% also, but everything they marked yesterday was only 70%. Not to say it will all be this way and always, but not a good sign.
  12. Halloween Zoobles now ringing full price. And here it is, the worst news I've had to report in ages! Say it ain't so!!! Regular toy clearance 70% NOT 75%!!!
  13. Did y'all see that Target is going to open at midnight on Black Friday. Can't say I am thrilled. I really prefer to get some sleep and go first thing in the morning. I am NOT a night owl. There is a link on the Black Friday site: http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/
  14. Everyone see that Brad posted the Toy Coupons on the Black Friday page? http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/MoreSales/TargetToyCoupons
  15. I've never found their policy to be different for seasonal without a receipt, at least until it goes clearance. They SHOULD give you a store gift card as long as you have the item packaging. anyone else have any other experience?
  16. Aha! Well, we bought the snow cone maker last year (same as the one from this year), and it works great for just us. If I had to make many I'd hate it, but easy enough for 1 or 2. Been seeing a lot of odd things with typing in numbers on the scanner. I have taken a number from an item in a locked case sitting there with a clearance sticker showing a price like $99.98 and typing it in to make sure the sticker is right only to have it show $199.99!! Craziness!
  17. The slushie maker & stuff went clearance hear about 6 weeks ago. The other stuff I ahve seen at various stores, but not all at one. It is out there, but seems to be selling out quickly.
  18. yes. They have smaller ones. they had the coupon available a couple of weeks ago and they regular ones were on sale for $9.99 at Target and there was a Target stackable coupon on the phone, so I got a freebie.
  19. They had Garmin & TomToms. Sorry, no DPCI. Most of our stores around here salvaged them at 50%, so I was surprised to see them there at all. We are happy with ours, and I know one of them was the garmin 1350, same as I have.
  20. Found some of the GPS units 75% off today in Azusa, CA. Was on a trip that took me through several towns this am, and only Azusa was 75%. Great deal!
  21. Yep, that is how it works. But try doing it over a few visits. They can get crabby about it, and it just isn't worth the fights, sometimes.
  22. The coupon book is always available in store in an end cap display. However, they expire the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. If you only go for BF, they won't be valid.
  23. Yup. Going by the truly geeked up, using it hours on end type gamer sites. Decided we will hold off getting one for a while. Both kids are too young. There just aren't enough games rated E or E+10.
  24. From all the research DH (he is a programmer and knows tech stuff) has done (we are looking for one for DS), adding the hard drive is never as effective as getting it pre-built with it installed. They are much, much more prone to problems when you add the HD. later. I've seen this price several times over the last few months including at TRU & Best Buy.
  25. yeah, but it is just the 4GB version...
