Are you sure they are 30% off? Are you just going by the signs, or have you actually scanned some things? I ask because they often don't bother changing the signs. They say X% and more, so they don't always bother if there are some items at the lower percent off.

Toys don't usually get marked down on Tuesday, and the markdown team was probably at "lunch" when they opened. That is when they go on break at our stores (8am). Tuesday is Women's Clothing, Pets & Market if I remember right.

204040713 was on my receipt, but 204040131 is on the website. The latter was showing up as out of stock on the DCPI search, but the former wasn't recognized. Go figure.

If you are talking about toys, they have frequently gone straight to 75% off during the last week of July.

anyone else having trouble with the Target DCPI search? I was hoping to find some more of the new Colorforms Magnetic Playsets. I found a couple at one store. They were put out a clearance price, despite being brand new. They must not have been in the system properly. They are pretty cool. If you are looking at toys you may find them in the clearance with the long red & white striped tags on them for $2.46. They have Brown Bear Brown Bear & The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Really cute. Brown Bear is 242-04-6434 and Caterpillar is 242-04-6432

I believe the consensus is that it'll be this week on Wednesday or Thursday. We are all just crossing our fingers. My personal bet is that if you had your Patio stuff marked down earlier than others last week, you'll probably get the Wednesday Toy Markdown. If your patio stuff was later, it will likely be Thursday, but that is just my guess. I am basing it on how far behind the markdown team is. I am 99% sure one of my stores will go on Wednesday. Possibly 2 stores, the rest Thursday. I'm going to finally get the Red Card this time as I am planning to buy a bunch of stuff and want the extra 10% off!

I hadn't seen one of these at any of our stores for weeks, but today there was one at half price on the end cap, so keep looking! I bought it. We had been thinking about getting our younger DS a Leapster, but this is just as good, so I got it today at 50%.

It does not include the train or track. They do have train & track sets on clearance as well, though. And along this line, if you have a large Michaels store in your area, they let you use the 40% off coupons on Thomas items as long as they are not already on sale. Only the larger stores seem to carry Thomas stuff, though.

I think you mean Take Along Thomas - the die cast ones. I checked the train table this morning at the store and there are NO TRAINS OR TRACKS INCLUDED.

They sent out a Back to School catalog with kids clothing in it. The coupon was on the back. I don't have a red card (yet - plan to get one when I buy clearance toys), but I seem to get a lot of mailings because I order from the website a few times a year (large items I can't haul, usually).

Don't know if others got the $5 off coupon for Back to school Clothing. Just an FYI that I used it today without buying a stitch of clothing. System doesn't seem to care.

They vary, so definitely read the package. Some are ONLY the table. Generally they are all interchangeable with Brio & Thomas.

Wow! The toy markdowns are all over the map! I had to go to a neighboring city today, so I hit 2 stores there. Earlier in the week I had seen a Playmobil set that I want for 30% off - $6.98. Well, most of the other stores near me just marked them down to this. Well one of the 2 stores today still was at full price, and another was already at 50% - $4.98. This is making me crazy!!!

Don't know if anyone cares, but I saw that they had marked those cheap kiddie toys in sporting goods down to 75%. You know the little croquet, football, golf, bocce, etc. These were the $10 sets. They probably marked other things in the department, but I just happened across these while I was cruising the endcaps.

Depends on your store. I overheard some of the managers talking at one store saying that the markdown team was having a hard time keeping up because so many things were being marked down right now throughout the store. I would guess that if your store was one of the early stores marking down patio, you have a good chance of being one of the early stores marking down toys. One of our local stores is a day ahead of the others, and has had the most marked down. I am heading there Wednesday right after I drop of DS at his summer program.

Every store seems to be on its own schedule this time around. I go to 5 stores regularly, and 2 have had 50% markdowns for 3-4 weeks already, while one still barely has anything marked 30%! So, just keep watching. Seems that is all we can do. I thought this would be the week, but the markdown ladies think next week.

I asked a second markdown lady that I know, and she said they were going to do toys tomorrow, but that she thought the BIG markdown would probably be next week. I guess we'll see. There are some Legos I'll take at 50% if they get marked, but so far no joy.

one store I was in still said 50%, but they had just marked it 75%. They marked it later in the morning, so you might want to check back if there was anything at all you wanted. Pasadena & Duarte stores had a TON of the bistro sets. Pasadena (old Robinson's store) has a lot left all the way around. It is in the outside garden center.

Markdown lady I know said she wasn't sure toys would go down this week. Not firm on that, just unsure. She said they weren't doing them today at her store. Just have to wait and see. I am guessing that those of you who had your patio stuff done yesterday will know before the rest of us.

did you happen to check the toys? I think we are a day behind since the patio wasn't marked yesterday. I am hoping it is marked when I arrive there this morning. I'll be there at 8 when the open.

Yes, they'll got to 75% off. No, you won't be able to get a price adjustment (unless you happen to find an employee who doesn't know better). You will need to buy another one at the lower price, and return one on the old (higher priced) receipt. Just be sure to remove the red sticker with the lower price. Hope that helps!

UGHHHHH!!! I went to 2 stores this afternoon after I read that the patio stuff was marked down but no luck here in Pasadena!! Still at 50% and the markdown team was going home. BUMMER! Maybe tomorrow morning when I get there. I was REALLY hoping they would mark down the toys tomorrow morning because I have to go to a breakfast thing on Thursday morning. Maybe they'll push it back a week, but I have a VERY strong feeling that they'll go 75% tomorrow or Thursday.

It always depends on what else the team is marking. They just follow the schedule in their PDTs to go through the store department by department. I have seen them already marked when I arrive, and I have seen them marked in the middle of the day. It just depends on what else they have to do and how far behind they are from the day before.
