  1. Oh, I wouldn't bother. That lady is so picky it's usually a waste of time I try but maybe 8 times out of 10 something is not to her liking.
  2. Sorry. I thought it seemed small but thought I must just be nuts. My mom's bff is on the hunt for a red tree topper now. This lady always decides last minute she needs something. She told me she bought her skirt at Kohls so I went looking for matching topper and found this instead:P I don't know what she does to her stuff. She has a beautiful boxed set of ornaments from Target 75% or 90% several years ago, I have no idea how she's put it up for years now but Suddenly has no topper to match.
  3. LOL...and the nutjobs are out. I was gobsmacked when I put on my indicator to park in an empty spot next to fat guy loading his truck with 2 carts. I waited since I didn't want to disturb him, he repaid my kindness by taking his 2 shopping carts and dumping them in the space I was waiting for. The kicker....on the other side of that EMPTY space was the trolley bay AND this place is notorious for lack of parking. 3 little steps would have obviously placed too much strain on his overburdened heart. I just drove to the end of parking lot and parked elsewhere. I wasn't in the mood to start an argument by trying to educate him.
  4. that sounds fun Just get the hubby a box full of boxes wrapped with a gift card to something inside or cash even and let him worry about it. I know that's not the idea but if you're out of ideas and he's not helping you what else can you do.
  5. Thank you Thank you Thank you! I was second guessing my choice when I saw another panasonic posted this morning but looks like my gut instinct based on Panasonic site is right, FH25 is better suited for my parents than slightly more expensive model FP7.
  6. That really is gorgeous, congrats! And great job SS. Some of the dog themed stuff looks hideous and you can't tell one breed from the next NOT this one.
  7. I was flabbergasted when I went in to get 2 site to store orders yesterday and was told I had to wait 45 minutes for them. Apparently the store has so much on layaway and coming in they have a store facility somewhere in shopping plaza and it takes that long to get the request over there and then products located and returned to store. I know each store will have a different situation, just a friendly warning.
  8. not as nice as the one posted above but here's a similar tree skirt on sale at kohls :) http://media.kohls.com.edgesuite.net/is/image/kohls/863759?wid=180&hei=180&op_sharpen=1
  9. perfect add on gift for my mom who already has plenty of gifts
  10. LOL....that is one of VERY few pics taken this trip. That trip was the best form of birth control ever, they were both absolute terrors.
  11. I haven't attempted it BUT the video makes it look pretty foolproof. If we buy some red ribbon in after holiday sales or some blue ornaments this year we should be good. Not sure why we bought a 10ft roll of blue ribbon if we don't have anything to match it really:P
  12. It is for another sale. It can be used same day if you're buying something else but NOT on that purchase.
  13. Christmas Vacation- 2009 Champ Home Alone Mickey's A Christmas Carol It's a Wonderful Life WOW!!!! I didn't think we were at round 4 already.
  14. Not very crafty? LOL...did you buy that bow made or did it magically turn itself into that beautiful bow after following directions?
  15. I got back about a week ago my brother, SIL and nephew are there this weekend. It was one hell of a trip though those kids sooooooo misbehaved. Imagine we get to park 1st morning and as soon as we are through the gates 4yo decides she wants to go back to the apartment for no reason whatsoever just because. Her mom could have rung her neck, and the day did not get any better but we soldiered on since it was my godsons 2nd bday. LOL...I totally forgot about the link, sorry eve. My brain was working with original note of linked pics.
  16. Per my experience and their recent advertising, the ad is not required. Considering it IS a high priced item I'd say they'd probably ask for ad but the worse you can do is ask in store if it's not out of the way. I wouldn't mention it's an online price, or not in ad, JUST that you're price matching toysrus.
  17. I think we're only missing mail carrier and trash folk (if we give them this year). I just need to try and figure out what blurays I haven't given certain people so I don't give them doubles and which gifts to give the kids AND then pack and ship my brothers xmas package :) Luckily most of the stuff is already wrapped and I didn't have to wrap the majority of them.
  18. Maybe a bigger tree but it looks lovely and I love the overflow and piles (and piles) of gifts. Where did you get the sign ornaments? They add something extra to the tree :)
  19. I see my name is highlighted but wanted to assure my SS package was received and was wrapped for me to open on Christmas morning (while I was at Disney) :)
  20. hmmm...I may steal some ideas from here. The vet did a fabulous job with Bella and the tech has been AMAZING with her and me and my questions. We go back the 19th to remove stitches.
  21. I should have really posted yesterday but it was a complicated day. Anyone who bought the 48.88 pan set with $20 rebate and hasn't yet mailed in rebate is probably too late. I bought mine online Thursday and just mailed it in yesterday hoping it gets put through since sale started late. Rebate form says it needs to be postmarked within 14 days. Good luck!
  22. Every little bit helps, some people struggle to make ends meet and that 50$ saved from gifts could go to a nicer meal or maybe they will turn around and help someone they know in need. The next time I see a good sale at the grocery store I'll buy some extra and donate to a local meeting place for low income folk.
  23. And pepper spray lady may have gotten away free. "A woman accused of attacking at least 20 Black Friday shoppers at a Walmart store with pepper spray won't face felony charges, prosecutors said Thursday. The case of Elizabeth Macias, 32, was referred to city attorneys after county prosecutors didn't find evidence of a felony, said Sandi Gibbons, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County district attorney's office. Macias could still face misdemeanor prosecution, Ms Gibbons said." Read more
  24. I have to ask....what is/are four cheaters?
  25. a late update but rebates for george foreman and panini grill were instant in store. The black and decker rice cooker I bought online is mail-in, not sure if that's cause I bought it online or what. Wish I'd checked to see if they had it in store since now there's a limit of 1 so have to return 1
