  1. the commercial is absurd in my opinion. Sure it sucks to miss a deal/sale but I rarely shop in stores without sales and/or clearance deals.
  2. I'm looking for curtain rods, Original post says housewares/decor goes on Thursdays anyone see anything lately?
  3. Does this mean no more coupons? My aunt was raving about the $10 off no limit coupons she used over the holidays I only ever got $10 off $25 and didn't find anything when I went to look.
  4. returns WITHOUT receipts are limited..different stores have a set number of allowable transactions as well as a total amount per year/transaction. I always keep receipts but I suppose you could return/exchange gift stuff or past receipt date that way.
  5. I haven't been since before Xmas but this sounds ridiculous.....are they just piling stickers on top of stickers and then removing them when sale is over? or just reticketing stuff when sale changes?
  6. Quite noticeable that they didn't address the out of stock issue or cancellations...I was impressed with the Geek Squad section but not much else.
  7. If it's not TOO out of the way I'd check myself, saying that it's pretty unlikely. It's more common to show in stock and be out of stock but they could have sold similar sets and scanned the one you wanted twice instead of the other set, i.e. color variation etc.
  8. Your post reminded me of the ADULTS in line waiting for a ferry, they were nonstop on the iPads to the point of ignoring THEIR kids. We just laughed because even though we're from Fl and have been to Disney loads we'd never consider bringing such a thing, kids is a different story though. I may be off to Disney again on Thursday, my job offer may finally come through just in time to avoid me going but it's been a long time coming so I'll be happy either way.
  9. Hopefully it won't be long til you get it back and your son will find something else to occupy himself with til it comes back. Sometimes it takes getting burned to do what afterwards seems a little obvious. I was lucky with electronics this year (as the few pieces I bought all work perfectly) but I'll keep this in mind for future purchases. Luckily the George Foreman I got USED and without any accessories (from Macys on BF Weekend) was exchanged without problem, but this was a box with no seal that I could have easily verified myself before purchasing and saved myself the drive and traffic the week of Christmas when I finally got around to wrapping. Now I check almost everything before even taking it off the shelf (if packaging allows).
  10. maybe try best buy? or other electronic place? Not sure on return policies without receipt especially for an electronics item that probably has a serial number. Your best, most honest, bet is just to go through Nintendo/warranty
  11. I haven't seen anything but I'm not looking either. Maybe just start a post under the freebies forum and update it like the movies one gets updated weekly in the offline forum?
  12. I think with electronics they scan the serial number as well, so it probably wouldn't work
  13. I agree. I've mentioned elsewhere we still have a load of Halloween reese's no bake stuff at my store because to this day it scans full price. In my opinion it's not the cashiers place to decide what should or shouldn't be discounted. I have questioned managers at Publix about fresh cakes after a holiday because they USUALLY discount it, but with prepackaged stuff when I know it's hit or miss what goes on sale I wouldn't bother myself or store personnel. We have tons of the Pringles, I thought I hit the motherload (and a year's supply for my dad)when it went to 90% but it scanned full price and I just left it.
  14. lol...I'm still seeing halloween reese's no bake at Target because they didn't mark them down with other stuff
  15. lol....I totally made note NOT to plug in daily points MEANING to find a few combo packs to put in first THEN completely forgot to do anything:( Thanks for the 5:)
  16. This is why I rarely shop Wags holiday clearance. Even if it doesn't say "selected items" most clerks around here refuse to adjust price and I can't be bothered as their selection isn't that great anyways. The cookies I got paid .21 to buy at Target (after coupon on package) were still 1.xx after 75% off with no coupon. If we'd taken down ALL the Christmas stuff or had it organized from the last time we used them I would have noticed we had a much cuter Pluto Frame Stocking and didn't even need the one I bought.
  17. 1 store went 75% mid last week but had nothing left. I caved and bought the stocking I wanted for Bella at 50% from another store because it was the only one left and hiding only goes so far.
  18. I went in today to return some stuff I'd bought at 50-75 and managed to get at 90% and lady at CS ASKED if I wanted to buy anything back so I got most of if it back. Plus picked up a few more christmas cards and odds and ends. Best find today were the men's pajama sets. they had A Christmas Story and The Grinch scanning 1.99 in a rack of other pj sets which were scanning 15.xx.It's a cotton shirt and fleece pants.dcpi for grinch set XXL-044-05-6169 XL 044-05-6168 , didn't get other so no dcpi. Also found misc. mens chr-stmas shirts a fun pixelated reindeer one, a green don't stop believin (with santa on it) and there was a red one with christmas story kid and something about shooting. Maybe stop or I'll shoot? I'll get dcpi's for 1st too in a bit. Target is totally making me look bad after mentioning grinch shirts only made it to 30% last year:P I totally expected everything to be salvaged by today. http://img3.targetimg3.com/wcsstore/TargetSAS//img/p/13/68/13680686_138x138.jpg http://img2.targetimg2.com/wcsstore/TargetSAS//img/p/13/71/13711113_138x138.jpg the sets are folded up into a rectangle and tied with a black ribbon and I found mine hanging with other sets(they've got big pant type hangers to hold them in place.).
  19. I think these made it to maybe 30% off last year before they disappeared:( I wanted one too, I settled for a cat in the hat sleepshirt (xxl) at jcpenney when they put men's shirts on sale for 1.97:P It pays to keep your eyes open and look "through" shelves not just over or at them. I'm a pro when it comes to finding stuff but my mom on the other hand could be staring at something and wouldn't know it. My best find aside from boxers today were some melamine container sets pack of 3 were 4.xx when 70% off and I found them hidden on a bottom shelf behind newly set valentines day melamine cups etc. all it took was bending over and looking through the shelving:)
  20. I scooped up the last few sets they had too...they were .89 though (I think for the set of 3 earrings), the individual pairs were .69 as well as the pins.
  21. I managed to repurchase 2 rolls of wrapping paper I'd bought mom's bff plus another 3. And I remembered seeing some outdoor rugs in the regular section and sure enough they were still there. Plus I found some cd's over by the music playing machine by regular gift wrapping aisle. Overall I'm really happy, we get to return the wine bags (and a few other things) we'd bought previously (since we now have 3 for the price of 1) AND I found the dress I wanted for Bella along with some other dog toys I'd never seen before. I was really surprised this year by how much stock varies from store to store. The furthest away store had dog stuff in the dollar section up front whereas none of the others did. I think our stores went overboard buying cat toys for chr-stmas since they were still bringing out boxes of the stuff.
  22. men's boxers were on a display(various shelves) in men's department along with ice scraper, gift card mazes and the tire pressure gauge. I'd never seen them before yesterday and I guess nobody knew to check there. There was no clearance sign today but since they were 70%off yesterday figured I'd check. Its a clear plastic box of 3 regular 12.99 now 1.29, most of the boxes have 1 obvious christmas one with others looking interchangeable. 1 store had the display right towards the front and the other had it towards the back. One of the stores seemed to have salvaged all Christmas stuff but must have forgotten about these and they were pretty organized. Links below to underwear packs, Remember they're stored in a clear plastic box. I also saw some single ones in character tins but didn't bother checking since they didn't ring up w/christmas stuff last year and only semi interesting one "call of duty". link1 link2 link3-didn't see these in store link4-only a few of these
  23. Sadly none of ours were on clearance, I found both numbers at different stores but all rand up full price at scanner. I managed to get lots of wine bags, a ton of mens boxers and the ice scraper I wanted for my brother. Also found a gift wrap pack with a loaded tape dispenser, along with 2 extra rolls and a paper cutter for .90, along with a huge rawhide bone, a mrs claus type dress for bella and the green sweater I bought at 70% that can now be returned Need to look at receipt as I picked up some womens socks and at least one rang up something not 90% off. It was taped so may have had a retag sticker.
  24. thanks, forwarded to my aunt. They have the jessie costume she wanted for cousin 65% off. Did they get rid of free shipping for using redcard?
  25. i hit one store that had 75% off yesterday but not much left or worthwhile and not ALL ringing up at 75off...I saw a cute snowman led nightlight but rang full price and i didn't want to wait and hope for a discount.
