Justin Beiber Items for $1-$2 after discount @ Claire's!
tinkrbel replied to noehlp's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Good find. I used to love that sale, it was straight 10/$10 back then. -
No problem, seems foolproof even for me:P

how about this, making it part of an ornament.

Shootings, pepper-spray attack mar Wal-Mart Black Friday sales

that's sad. -
I selected a lot of boxes and probably did 50/50 between stores and online once everything was bought. It's been a rough few days since Tuesday night but well worth it. I was pissed nobody mentioned the foreman died last night but was all better when I saw replacement in Macy's ad AND there were tons in store.

LOL...you must think like me and not run into the same amount of lazy people as I have. I was brought up w/ a good work ethic but most ppl these days could care less. I'm relatively young at 32 and it surprises me when I hear similar things or even people showing up and doing the bare minimum to keep their jobs.

A nice quote or an I'm annoyed and pissy quote? I have to go see now. UPDATE: Not my finest moment but then again consider I always get up early and hadn't slept more than a few hours since Tuesday night. I wish I'd left Bella's pic as my avatar now :)

price matching at Target.com Pricing for products on Target.com may vary from Target stores and from the Target Weekly Ad. We do not match the price of our online merchandise with the price offered by Target stores or another company, and Target stores do not match the price of our online merchandise.

I'm worried now. Do they send you an email advising it's back ordered or update the information on your orders? All of my stuff has shipped minus the av receiver which is the only thing I needed but it says "in process" and usually ships within 0-1 days. Should I be worried?

I'm not even going to bother. I was able to purchase what I wanted online and will just return the one I bought in store once it arrives.

I couldn't agree more. The video physically shocked me and really made me question BF retail stores. I think I will continue my mainly online approach next year but will still hit JCPenney for snowglobe and maybe a few more stores. I was VERY impressed with how civilized our new Walmart was but I think that was a combination of their 6am opening time, the fact that many people weren't aware or didn't want to brave a new store for BF, the other stores opening earlier and their good security in place. There were cops out in the parking lot, some outsourced security every other line in the entrance maze and then some black outfitted security/loss prevention ppl in the store. To be honest I think I was the most hectic person in the store but that's just the way I am. Even if I am leisurely browsing I do so quickly, it was awful for me to be stuck behind people blocking aisles and I was annoyed but I did not push people over or run into them with the cart. -
The Crazy Shopper Black Friday Stories Are Coming In For 2011!
tinkrbel replied to stationchief's topic in 2011
After ALL the complaining I did over my Walmart opening at 6 it was a godsend. I didn't like the line maze that reminded me of the abattoir maze for slaughter houses or the big pokey out legs they had every foot or so but that was the biggest hazard I ran into. If they'd made each lane wider it wouldn't have mattered but they practically rand into each other in some places and could have easily injured myself or any other genius who goes BF shopping in flip flops:P I guess the opening time was a well kept secret because while the crowd was probably close to 400-500 there were cops at the entrance to parking lot with ppl directing traffic into empty spots "disney world" style, outsourced security at every other rung of maze against the wall and then some guy on a platform lift watching over the orderly line who gave his orderly mumbo jumbo as opening time approached. Both the employees and other shoppers were very cordial, one of the employees blocking off an aisle was jostling us to buy some smaller tv that I guess someone dumped near him. I think it's a combination of shopper vs. store fault. Shoppers will do what they feel they can get away with. More security or more visible security would make it less rampant but there will always be those people that could care less about consequences. After watching the grandfather video I seriously considered next year, I would not be OK after seeing that happen to a complete stranger much less if I knew the person. I think I'll redo the mostly online stuff with minor stuff in stores and see how it goes. After reading some updates it seems like you can still get screwed in-store shopping as well even after camping out. -
My confirmation and code were in spam but I haven't gone back to check if they somehow revoked the purchase.

Has this changed? I suppose it could have been a glitch in the system when I tried to use mine months ago. I just remember the rep being a total pain because of it and telling the manager I wanted to be paid to buy stuff I hope manager told her off after I left.

If I'm home I'll make this one:P I managed to turn on laptop at 8.01 yesterday noticed it was on last bar and was just too tired to get cable so turned back off and fell right to sleep. I hope last night stories were recorded.

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2011
tinkrbel replied to Brad's topic in Offline Hot Deals
i stopped in today and there's tons of stuff leftover piled around the store. If they can't return stuff to warehouse I see a lot of clearance items soon. There were about 100 of the princess doll sets, a full display of plasma cleaner kits, along with dvd players and multiple stacks of tv's. -
Agree, so long as we keep to as new or slightly used.

Walgreens RR's are a PITA. I managed to use most of mine and found that about 4 of the few I have left I can use at Publix for groceries. Now, for the tips: 1) As you learned, if you use a RR to pay for an item by same manufacturer you will NOT get another one. So glasses are required:P Even if you get 2 completely different things by Procter&Gamble if both have RR and you use a p&g RR you won't get one for product being bought. Same for Gilette and whoever else makes lots of stuff, even if you buy a women's razor and use RR for men's aftershave if it's same company it won't print. 2) Walgreens is NOT cvs. Walgreens counts RR as manufacturer coupons and only allows 1 manufacturer coupon per item. So you cannot use multiple RR for 1 item purchase. And you cannot buy 1 item and use a manufacturer coupon and a RR towards it without a filler item. 3) Walgreens only allows RR to cover purchased items not taxes. So if you're a few cents short say a 3.99 item with a $4 RR the system will reject it. The way I get around this is buying the 8/$1 stuff w/coupon in ad which is useful anyhow or the .29/.39 stuff they use to have in top corner of ads. Til today they have the Christmas themed goody bags 8/$1 and various candles 3/$1. Remember you don't need to buy the full quantity to get your discount. If coupon had been 10/$1 you could buy 2 at .10 each. :)

The Crazy Shopper Black Friday Stories Are Coming In For 2011!
tinkrbel replied to stationchief's topic in 2011
Damn...that's pretty horrifying. I hope someone donates whatever game it was the kid wanted:( -
nobody laughed ALTHOUGH I should have noticed when Walmart security lady asked me what gottadeal was once she was BEHIND me:P It just never occurred to me I just assumed she'd seen it as I walked up and only just then asked. My eyes are really feeling the lack of sleep but I'll try to make it. Sounds like we're in for some horror stories and yet it's being hailed a success at the same time.

I had an issue hours ago but assumed it was Comcast since Amazon wouldn't do that to me:P

Before I accidentally sprayed myself, pepper Spray went everywhere with me. Totally uncalled for and they should press charges

Many thanks and Congratulations are due for another fab BF.
