DVDs and video games, household items, clothes for self and DD, and toys/clothes for charity mostly. I like to be done shopping by Cyber Monday so that when I pay up the CC's, I can put them away for the remainder of the year and enjoy the holiday season without worrying about shopping.

Anyone else try adopting a child through the Angel Tree online this year? The past few years we have adopted 1 or 2 kids through the online selection. This year, however, something seems off. The sizes don't seem to match the ages (e.g., 12 yr old sizes listed as 18 months), there are hardly and wants and when there are, some of them are a little out there. I think I'm going to have to pass this year, as something just doesn't seem right. Anyone notice similar?

I am looking for a decent P&S for my technophobe mom to take on her big birthday trip to London. Needs to be good quality at good price. Any recommendations among the BF deals? (A bundle would be ideal).

I did once and had to send the item back. During the summer they had a seemingly amazing deals on Ipod Touch 8GBs. So I bought one to give to my sister. When it arrived, it was in terrible shape....badly scratched all over, no accessories. When we buy portable electronics, whether new or refurbished (I mostly buy refurbished these days), we keep them in cases and with screen protectors so that they always look like new. I can't believe they allowed someone to trade in an ipod in that condition or tried to resell it in that condition. Return was easy though and free. I wouldn't recommend it.

Agreed. and in hopes of getting free product from BB for the crazy stunt and publicity for the store.

I don't have a problem with family and close friends making reasonable gift requests.

Brad is right. Check the reviews and spend a little extra to get a quality one. DD got one of the BF ones for Christmas when she was younger and it died within a year or 2. Her aunt bought her a good brand one several years ago and it is going strong 4 years later.

I'm late to this, but I would suggest a massage or spa treatment. I got my mom a spa package a few years ago and she LOVED it. I've been giving them to her as gifts since.

I'm going to try to pick up the 24" for my mom who only has a 20 inch tube right now. I would get the 32" but she doesn't have the space for it in her bedroom.

Yes! Will be ready to get that 24" online. I've had a good streak purchasing from Best Buy on Turkey Day.

Thanks! That's why I said "Good" luggage set. Have been watching all the ads, and the reviews are horrible for all the others on sale at other places. Going to get the silver 3-piece $99 set. Really good reviews. Now if I can find a deal on a good camera bundle, I'd be set. Bad or mixed reviews for all the ones in the ads so far....

The deal is alive. It only works with chrome though. If you have firefox, try clearing cookies and see if it works. Great deal. Just use pick up in store option.
