keylargosun Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 I keep missing out, I will be running to Wal-mart and TRU today.
amshal3 Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 I'm also seeking for a wii in New Jersey? Anyone know any info.
heatherkw Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 OK can somebody tell me what the Nunchuck is for? If I can find another wiimote do I need another nunchuck too?
mmatter Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 There is a post on www.ps3seeker.com/wii that TRU is going to have thousands of Wiis on December 22nd. They are also assuming the other stores will get more in, but it sounds like TRU is hoarding to sell on Friday.
fairydustcrissy Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 OK can somebody tell me what the Nunchuck is for? If I can find another wiimote do I need another nunchuck too?The nunchuck has the analog stick as well as other buttons on it. If you can get another Wiimote, I would highly suggest a nunchuck if you can find it.

dean4125 Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 has anyone played the zelda game yet. I was playing it for hours last night, its so much fun. I recommend it if you guys get the Wii.
my3bellas Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 http://www.ps3seeker.com/wii/ according to the ps3seeker, Toysrus will be selling the wii in bundles???They just had an article that consumers and the better business bureau were fighting the acts of toysrus bundling the wii console
eisens Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 I was in TRU yesterday and the Wii is sold out at my local store. I got a Wii at TRU via a pre-order in November, but could use another controller & stuff. Oh well.

acs12798 Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Does anyone know what the bundle with the toysrus is going to be...will it be the same as the ones on the website? or just like you need to buy a game an a set of controllers.
mh1973 Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Ugh!!!!!!!!!! Of all the stupid things I do, I wrapped all my christmas gifts today, and had the wii classic controller that had in a bag to return to walmart because I have the gamecube controllers, well, I took all my boxes and everything out to the burn pile to burn them, went to get the kids from school and realized I didn't remember where I put the wii controller, well, yes, I burned it, brand new, in the package, I am sick about. There went $20 down the drain!!! I always said burning stuff was trouble. I am so mad at myself!!!!!!
rosalia1 Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Oh No!! I am so sorry! Reminds me of a time when I lost a $20.00 dollar bill. It was really weird, one minute I had the $20.00 in my hand (and I was in the house) and the next minute it was gone. No one was home to play a joke on me. It was just gone and to this day I have searched and searched and I have never found it and it's been over a year.

Put it in the mail, forgot about the checkbook. I have no checks right now cuz I still cant find it, and its almost the end of the month.
dmmiller Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Sorry to hear you burned up your controller... But just be thankful it wasnt something more expensive, Like the Wii.
cubbeegirl Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Sorry to hear about your controller, but glad to hear that I am not the only one who does these kind of things....:)
Janislyn Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Maybe, this Wii thing is making us all a little crazy and we don't know what we are doing any more!!!
AndreaInNC Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 SCORE! The controllers I ordered off the Nintendo site were delivered last night! Yipee! Both the Nunchuks and the classic controllers!
rosalia1 Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Haven't been able to score a Wii yet, but when I do, what comes in the box and what extras do I need to purchase? Thanks
Firemansgal311 Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Would anyone mind letting me know what batteries I need for this? I got in a hurry and wrapped it without looking. Thanks. :)
gryphon Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 The wii comes with the console, one wiimote, one nunchuck, the Sports game, a standard A/V cable (the 3 wire, red, yellow, white thing), batteries for the Wiimote (2 AA), the sensor bar, and the plug adaptor thing. You can run it right out of the box, no extras needed unless you want a second wiimote and nunchuck and other games. You'll need a classic controller or gamecube controller if you want to buy certain games online (like the Super NES or Nintendo 64 games). You can play the old NES games with just the wiimote.
rosalia1 Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Thank you for the information on what comes in the Wii box! :) I'm all prepared now and all I need to do is find one. Hopefully, Toysrus will have them on Friday (from what I hear).
kitkat234 Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 I see that Walmart.com has a wii bundle for those who are still looking, just thought I would let you know....

Thanks I was in a rush to get it wrapped and completely forgot about looking for batteries. :) Thank you again.
buffy1169 Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 I finally got one! Just by luck. I went to the local TRU in Waterford, CT and they just got a shipment in about an hour ago. (Around 1:30pm) Not sure how many they had. But I was also told that EBX in the Crystal mall would be getting more in either today or tomorrow. The guy told me to call around 2pm. The same thing for Best Buy. Good luck to all of you who are still in need for one. And thank you for all your information. This site is the best for those who love to shop!
