I have been holding off on the XBOX for 5yrs now. The double GB's and extra controller is what is selling me. Of course this will be our family gift and that is pretty much it.

Just wondering if anyone is planning on standing in line tomorrow at 8am for this deal? I think I am going to go for it. It is 399., 250GB, Call of Duty Limited Edition console, Modern Warfare 2 game, 2 wireless controllers for pretty much of all the big box stores. Ultimate Electronics is advertising a Wired Headset with their bundle.

This is another one to add to our list. We want to get one for our 11yodd. Don't want to add her quite yet to our family plan until next year but we have to get her a phone this year. All of your responses are great but now I don't know which one to pick. However we need one that averages less than 10.00 a month for it to be worth it. She will not use hardly any minutes, it is for emergency use.

I clicked why not, however I should have clicked the "deals" one. It is fun to go around and see the sale prices of things that I want but never buy unless it is a GREAT DEAL!:)

I am typing on a crappy e-machine....still works. You do have to watch what you "eat"... My dh has had to reconfig my computer once, forgot why.

Joining up here. We are looking for a decent desktop for my 11yodd. She has outgrown the hand me down. She is into movie making, wants photoshop, and a host of software that I do not have a clue about. It all deals in movies and graphics. Yes my 11yo has passed me up.

I went to Target at 8ish am this morning and was able to get 2 controllers and nunchucks!!! Whoo...hooo. Congrats to those of you that were successful today:D and Good Luck to those of you still looking.

I got Pirates and Spyro for 9.99 a piece...whoo-hooo! Now that was a great buy. I didn't think I would actually get anything from TRU, imagine that. Their marketing scheme worked. I also picked up a Wii Points card.

Figured it out! Whoo-hoo! Just so you know the titles for this coupon are Legend of Spyro, Pirates of the Carribean, Snood, Ford Racing, and Guilty Gear. Only available today, 12-14. Not vaild on line....the game cost is 9.99. Not bad for a DS game.

I have been getting emails for the 12 Deals of Christmas for ToysRus. So finally today they have DS's games for 9.99 w/ this on line coupon. 1) I cannot download coupon to print. Any help there? I need to mess with security on my computer, I think. 2) Anyone know the titles that go with the coupon? Thanks....:)

Color me confused. I thought this thread is about the Wii & accessories, obtaining them, and issues we are having with the system and getting it so we can be warned.

Yea, it was getting ventilation. Don't know if it was my Sports disc or what. Now I am playing Zelda...no problems with that at all so far. Other than learning the controls. Zelda has ALOT of "StarFox" touches to it. I guess I should try the Sports today to see if it is the disc.

Thank You... I have plugged it in and played it. Now...I did have a couple of times that my Wii Sports Disc became unreadable.... Don't know what is up with that. I did have it sitting in the holder on carpet and moved it to something solid. Oh please...let that be the only thing. So far the Wii is great. It really is the beginning of a new gaming generation. I cannot believe how active you have to be to play. WOW!

Remember the part of "The Christmas Story" when there is a knock on the door and the dad gets the "Leg Lamp"....well....that is what happened last night at my house except it was our Wii...Yes, my quest for the Wii has ended. Now to hunt down another controller...because I did not realize it comes with SPORTS!!! Ten thousand lashes for me...I saw them 2 weeks ago and should have grabbed them.

FYI...just found this out on another board about the wrist strap.... Poster said when her wrist strap broke she called and Nintendo sent her a better thicker strap. Hmmmm might have to call and get one of those.

In all of my life this was the hardest hunt for me.... Which includes Beanie Baby hunting...at least we got a meal. Thanks for the info rimshot! I haven't even tried to get accessories yet...Not sure what I want, except I do want a Points Cards "on sale". I do want the classic controller but I have Gamecube ones, so not going to run out and hunt that down. So far we have MonkeyBall & Zelda & I do not think I need more than one Wiimote....right? Dec. 8th is the date it is supposed to be delivered....we will see..

You have to call all of your local stores and keep asking, when, how many, line tickets, etc....if you want to score one before Christmas.

Here is the thing.... They ALREADY have the systems. They wait until a specified day to sell them, generally on a Sunday because that is when the new ad starts. It is your basic marketing ploy, can't blame them I suppose. You need to start calling your local stores and drag the info out of them so you can give yourself the best shot at it.
