glm777 Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 What store do you all recommend to get good deals on things like pillows, sheet sets, bathroom rugs etc. on Black Friday? This is the first year I need NO electronics or toys but I don't want to give up my BF shopping!
bluebear Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Kohls. I buy each of these things every year. Also blankets, they have the best. 3
tyreejames Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Another one for Kohl's! They usually have a good deal on bath towels and wash clothes with no chance of violence 2
msomnipotent Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 I have been very happy with the towels and sheets I buy from Overstock.com and they usually have several sheet sets on sale on BF. Costco also has towels that do not stain from make up that are a good deal but I don't think they were on sale last year.
momlori Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Ditto on Kohls and you don't have to leave homel You can usually order a day or two before BF online 1
fran Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 If you spend 50 at kohls on black fri you get 20 kohls cash back.
glm777 Posted September 23, 2015 Author Posted September 23, 2015 So I'm thinking I'll go to Kohls this year! Thanks!
jesusluvu Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 I had the same thought. Kohls or JC Pennys. I will be going to both.
giz Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 (edited) Kohls here too... But, I order online because it is so much more convenient. Edited September 28, 2015 by giz
momlori Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Also don't forget the extra Kohls % off and the Kohls cash
chachn8r Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 We are huge fans of Kohls in our household.
bluebear Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 I've noticed kohls has done a couple double or triple rewards points promos lately. It would be awesome if they did that for black Friday too.
jaymacfla Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Definitely Kohls. I will accompany the wife there from time to time, and am impressed with their offerings and coupon structure. We also like Ross.
hockeyfanamo Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Looks like Kohl's will be on my list this year as well.
Kanyon71 Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 I avoid Kohl's like the plague. It's the one place where I will let my wife head in there and I will stay in the car. FAR too many people in there and they tend to annoy me. So it's best for all involved lol. 2

Bopeep Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 That is why I do online a day earlier. lolEverything I bought at Kohls or JC Penney last year was online. I don't go in either of those stores on BF.
Jen08 Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I am needing some household products this year as well. Last year I got 800 thread count sheets at walmart for $25 and they have really surprised me. My husband is picky about our sheets and even he likes that set so I am hoping to they will have the same deal this year. I am also hoping to get a new crock pot. I need one but I don't want to buy a cheap one on BF and it not be a nice one. I am hoping WM will have a good one on sale or maybe Kohls. If I go to Kohls this year it will only be for household products. 1
Khobbs1 Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 also purchased some really nice sheets at walmart last year, and i too love them, i tend to get better deals at kohls for things like kitchen and bath towels and small appliances and really like them as well
jewleyp Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Kohls rocks on bedding- Walmart has the great BF sheet deal - if you can get them! lol. Kohls you can get the great household items online so you don't have to lug it around also!
tinkrbel Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 We got our CrockPot from Kohls online (I think last year) and were at WM Thanksgiving Day to get the sheet sets.We always seem to pick up a couple because the quality is great. WM is the only store that really feels like a hassle on Thanksgiving/BF but I think that's mainly the disorganization. Kohl's is always taken care of prior to BF and I love that, I have never stepped foot in a Kohl's on BF.
avsfan Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 We've bought those wonderful sheets from Walmart the last two years. Love them! So hard to find such a great deal on quality sheets for our king-size bed. All sizes were the same price. 2
lakee05 Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Walmart has been good for me. I've gotten just about all my small appliances from there. The towels, bath cloths, pillows and sheets are good also if you can get to them. I remember one year at my Walmart some people started fighting over some $1.74 towels. Smh. Lol
steph3306 Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I always go with Kohl's. If you go with Kohl's make sure you are on Gottadeal several days before BF so you can see when they go live for the online deals. If remember correctly I had ordered all my items the day before Thanksgiving...maybe early Thanksgiving morning. Gottadeal will let you know ASAP when it goes live. 1
bribri25 Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Without a doubt, it's Kohl's. Whether it be online or in store, it better be Kohl's. ...I think someone may have already mentioned Kohl's 1
Rose0426 Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 I agree with everyone else on Kohls. I do it all online on Thursday so I don't have to go in the store. I love their towels and get new ones every year. 1
