Checking in for before I forget.

Well, we were finally getting longer days and some sun and warmer temps, then what happens, more snow. At least we didn't get the 4-6 inches they were calling for. My son even got the snow blower out for us. Just a nice coating on the trees and grass and nothing on the roads

Don't remember if checked in for January. Can't wait for the warm weather to start, so sick of the cold

Merry Christmas everyone

What I did for my grandson this year is made a list on amazon with everything he wants. Put in the note section the price, in case it goes up, I know to wait. If price come down, it will show how much I'm saving. Since Amazon pretty much matches everyone, if one store comes down in price, they will too probably. You can also share your amazon list. The only thing Amazon usually won't match is a b2g1free, just keep checking Best Buy, Target and Gamestop. If they are new games, they probably won't go on sale.

Looking thru the ads, I really don't see anything we need anymore. I only have 1 grandson that we still buy for, everyone else is grown and have everything they need, so they get money

Not so much a deal, but I remember getting up early and standing in line at KB Toys when my kids were younger with a list of what they wanted. Those were the days before online shopping. I remember having them look thru all the ads on Thanksgiving and letting me know what they wanted from Santa. When my daughter didn't believe anymore and was old enough, I taught her everything I knew about finding great deals for Christmas. Those were the days.

Happy Labor Day! Of course, now that school is starting and we don't have our grandkids during the week, it's going to be in the high 90s all week. No fun in the pool by myself

Happy August. So of course last week when we were in the high 90s and pool temp was 85 our pool was green. Dealt with that for 2 weeks. Now that we finally got it crystal clear, air temps are in the low 80s and pool temp dropped to 79. Can't win.

Better check in for July before I forget. Hope everyone is staying cool

Happy New Year everyone. Now on to 2023

In the 50's tomorrow and Friday with 2-3 inches of rain, then dropping down into the 20's Friday, Saturday and Sunday with snow coming in at the end on Friday and flash freezing. I hate the cold On the bright side, I took off tomorrow and Friday so I won't have to be out in it

In for another year

1. Amazon - once they see everyones prices, they will match them 2. I usually only go to Kohls - the mall is to crazy here as we are tax free and everyone from PA, NJ & MD come here 3. I miss getting together with family on Thanksgiving and going thru the ads to see what we want and then heading out early Friday morning to shop. With sale prices starting spread out thru November, there is no time to plan. Glad though, a lot of stores are closed on Thanksgiving again.
