  1. Where did all my other points go?! I had several hundred, but when I signed in, my point balance was at zero!!
  2. The kids are always excited on Christmas so we don't do a big sit-down meal. We'll have a crock pot of shredded chicken sandwiches, cheesy potatoes, shrimp dip, teeny weenies & smokies in bbq sauce, dips, meat & cheese tray. Just stuff to snack on throughout the day. Plus all the Christmas candies and cookies we've all made.
  3. Here in our little corner of the world, they allowed that last year. We talked to someone who was there right after their Thanksgiving dinner last year and she had her chair, laptop for movies and other things.
  4. So far the only thing I've used it for is going online (browsing and listening to internet radio) and I like it. The only thing I'd have to say I don't like about it is that the screen from top to bottom doesn't show as much as my desktop. Oh, and if you do a lot on it without the power cord nearby, you only get about 3 hours or so out of the battery. I leave mine plugged in most of the time, so that part doesn't bother me. It comes with Windows 7, which didn't take very long to get used to. As far as the disk drive/dvd player part of it, I haven't tried that yet, so I can't give you a review on it. Overall, I'm satisfied with it.
  5. What time do you think I should get there for Rock Band for XBox 360? My son really wants this! Also, it is $50 on BF...I was in the store last night and saw it for $199. Was it the same one I saw? That seems like a really big price drop, plus they didn't have a whole lot of them.
  6. Thank you Brad! What a great way to show off where I'm finding my BF deals! Congrats to the other winners too!
  7. On page 13 of the pdf adscan, it says you can go to walmart.com and print out a map of the store and where items will be located, just put in your zip code. Does anyone see where that is on their site? The only place I see to put in a zip code is the store locater and then that just sets that store as my store. I don't see anywhere to print out a map of the specials. Can anyone help?
  8. I know what you're talking about, but I don't remember what all they had. I'm wondering if they'll do the same this year.
  9. Radio Shack Olympus 12MP Digital Camera w/ 7 x Wide Zoom $149.99 Meijer Magellan Roadmate 1440 GPS $119.99 Home Depot DeWalt 18V Compact Drill/Driver Kit $99.00 Sears HP OfficeJet J4680 Wireless All-in-One Printer (Sears.com Only) $64.99 Kmart Magnavox DVD Player / VCR Combination Unit $49.99 Northern Tool Industrial Batteries 24 Pack AA $4.49 Office Depot Brother P-Touch Electronic Labeler $9.99 Grand total of $498.44
  10. When I was in the store last Saturday morning, the manager told me that this coming Saturday they were having all kinds of cell phones. He didn't mention anything else, but then again, I didn't ask.
  11. Do you have to have a prescription from your vet for this, or can you just order it without?
  12. I forgot one of my old favorites from when I was a kid...it's a movie called, "A House Without a Christmas Tree." You never see it on tv anymore, but I found it online one time. I remember watching it with my mom when I was younger.
  13. I knew I'd forget some...just LOVE Rudolph!! And yes, I like A Christmas Story, but to watch it 24 hours straight?! Wow!
  14. Christmas is my favorite time of year and I have several. I love A Christmas Story, Charlie Brown Christmas, Frosty the Snowman, Garfield Christmas, Christmas Vacation and probably more that I'm forgetting!
  15. Same here...only this year I'll have to remember to hide the notebook BEFORE the kids get home from school. One year I forgot and left it out and DS #1 found it and, unbeknownst to me, read the whole thing. The little booger!!
  16. Prices effective November 1 - November 7, so I'm guessing this isn't the Secret sale.
  17. I'm with everyone else who wants their kids and dh to get along. My boys are 16, 10 and 50 (dh). As if it isn't bad enough when the 16 and 10 year olds fight all the time, it's just 10x worse when dh joins in! I have a laptop computer on my list, but it's highly doubtful I'll get it since we just had to replace our 10 year old refrigerator. Aren't they supposed to last longer than that?! Our stove is over 25 years old (dh had that before we even met!) and that thing won't die no matter what I do to it!!! I'd also like a new digital camera, a Brita or Pur water pitcher, a new shower caddy that isn't rusted and a new chair mat for my computer chair.
  18. I agree...gottadeal.com is THE BEST at keeping me informed of everything! That's how I found out about the Secret Saturdays last year and scored some great stuff.
  19. My recipe is really simple, but all the kids in my son's class love them. Holiday Pretzel Treats Ingredients: bite-size waffle-shaped pretzels Hershey Kisses and/or Hugs Red and green M&M's Preheat oven to 170 degrees. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper or foil. Line up pretzels in a single layer on cookie sheet. Top each pretzel with a Hershey's Kiss or Hug. Bake for 4-6 minutes until chocolates feel soft when touched with a wooden spoon. Remove cookie sheet from the oven and quickly press an M&M into the center of each kiss. Place in refrigerator to set, about 10-15 minutes. And here is a family favorite: Cherry/Jello Cake Ingredients: White cake, baked according to directions on box 2 small boxes or 1 large box cherry Jello 2 cans cherry pie filling 1 8 oz. tub of Cool Whip When cake is out of the oven, poke the top full of holes with a large 2 pronged fork. Make Jello according to package directions and pour evenly over entire cake. Top with cherry pie filling and spread evenly over cake. Top with the Cool Whip and refrigerate till cold, preferrably overnight. You can also use strawberry Jello and strawberry pie fillling instead of cherry.
  20. Apparantly they are very hard to find, and no, that isn't a good deal. Wal-Mart has them for $8. Or should I say that's what they're asking for them when they have them in stock. Good luck finding one for that price. :)
  21. These are the only sizes available as of right now. 6 petite 8 regular 10 petite 12 petite 12 regular 12 long 14 long 16 regular
  22. I agree...it should be one ticket per person. If your friend isn't there when they hand out the tickets, too bad.
  23. I was in a 24 hour Wal-Mart last year on BF waiting by the big stack of flat screen tv's. I was right beside them and when the plastic came off, they started flying everywhere! I got hit in the head numerous times and never did get my tv even though I was one of the first ones there
