That was going to be my comment. The ads always seem to be the same from year to year, however, I keep hoping one of them will surprise us with something new and exciting.

We usually start out in Findlay then move on to Lima...both in Ohio. Once in a while we might switch it up and head to Toledo.

I normally don't really want anything for myself, but this year my good camera just quit working and I was hoping to take my son's senior pictures. I just don't want anyone spending that much money on me!

Has been just my sister and me for years. My younger son (18) and her oldest son (17) started going to Walmart with us a couple years ago when they saw video games they wanted to buy with the Christmas money from grandparents. They're old enough to stand there alone and tall enough to reach up and over things to reach for us!

Super simple but they go quick! Chocolate Kiss Pretzels Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and line up square pretzels over the entire thing. Place an unwrapped Hershey Kiss on each pretzel. Place in 200 degree oven just long enough to soften the chocolate a little, shouldn't take more than 5 minutes. Just want the chocolate softened, not melted. Remove from the oven and while they are still soft, press an M&M (I but the red and green Christmas ones) onto each kiss. Let set so chocolate hardens again (can put in refrigerator to speed the process). Keep in a covered container.

I don't think it would be the same NOT going out. I did buy one thing online last year on BF, but we don't have the store I bought it at in my area and it was something my hubby really wanted. I may do more online this year. Thinking it might help me resist the temptation of throwing extra things in my cart that I don't need!

I still go through the paper ads and make lists. The store with the most "must-have" items is the one we go to first. Last year was the first year I ever ordered anything online on BF and I did that because it was something hubby really wanted (and he's super hard to buy for) and we didn't have the store near us. There is never anything we really HAVE to have, but it sure did take the stress out of the "will I get it or will they sell out before I get there?" moments.

We make this too, but we add a cup of mini marshmallows to it then let it set overnight. We've always called it Watergate Salad, but I'm not sure where the name came from. Always a favorite!

We have an Ollie's about 40 minutes from here and it is in a huge building. I love it, as stated above it is kind of like a Big Lots. When you see something, you better pick it up then because once they're out, they're out. That means they're always getting new deals in, which I like.

I'm so excited! Things have been really hectic this year and Secret Santa is always a fun, relaxing thing for me to do. I can't wait till I get my person so I can start shopping for them!

We don't have a whole lot to choose from in my area. We always hit up Walmart or Meijer first, depending on what the "big" or "must have" item is. Menards is always one of the first as well. As someone mentioned above, Menards is always crazy busy, but they have TONS of stock and the people in there, customers and workers, are always friendly.

My sons LOVE (understatement) Star Wars so I think they would like these queen size sheets sets with Chewbacca and a Stormtrooper on the pillowcases. I know where you're coming from! My sister (and Black Friday partner of many years) went to visit her in-laws one year over Black Friday! I ended up going out by myself but it just wasn't the same...for either of us. She said that her sister-in-law didn't even want to go out shopping till at least noon! I'm ready to crawl back in bed by that time! Luckily, she told her husband she'd go there any time with him, but never again over Black Friday. She told him it's been our tradition for years to go out together. He just laughs at us, but he and my husband both agree that Black Friday is OUR day!

Hubby 2 sons My dad 2 sisters and their families (8 there) Gift exchange at work (1) Secret Santa here! (Love this!) I'll be finding a gift of some kind to give my friend who stops and picks up my son and drives him to school every morning. I work at the school but leave way before he has to be there and I really appreciate her doing this for us. So it looks like about 15 or so, but will probably end up being a little higher by the time all is said and done.

Our store is in a small town and Oct 15th is their last day to price match. The cashier told me that they will continue the Savings Catcher, but I price match a lot of produce, which the savings catcher doesn't do.

I agree, but I did see a couple bigger stores on this list so hopefully it's just a matter of time before the major stores join in.

My kids never give me an inkling of what they want for Christmas so I'm hoping for anything that jumps out at me that I know they'd love at a great price. Nothing specific, but I'll know it when I see it.
