Ugh! My dishwasher is acting up and I'm not sure if I can make it hold out for a Black Friday deal. Not even sure if they have deals on dishwashers on BF so I'm guessing I'll just have to keep an eye out for a good deal. Moved our older son out today. He's almost 25 so it was time, but I'm sad at the same time. Praying he'll make it ok on his own.

I can't believe it's June already! It seems like I was just decorating for Christmas a few short weeks ago. My son's graduation party was yesterday and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day! The weather was perfect, a yard full of family and friends, good food (almost the perfect amount) and a great time overall! Before you know it, it will be time to get the Christmas decorations out again. Have a great June everyone!

Well, the end of May is here, my son graduated high school and his party is this Saturday. I thought I started planning and cleaning early enough, but the days are just flying by and I'm hoping I can get everything done by party day! Luckily I work at our school and have my summers off so that's a good thing!

Spring seems to have finally sprung in NW Ohio! I work at a school and we have about 15 days of school left! This year seems to have gone so fast, especially since my baby is a senior and will be graduating shortly. With his ADD and processing disorder, I never thought I'd see this day happen! I received an e-mail from his digital (online classes) teacher today and he told me that Ryan is caught up with all his classes and has done several that he didn't even need, so even though seniors aren't done for a couple weeks yet, he is officially done and doesn't have to attend school anymore! Hallelujah!!

I hung our bed sheets out last weekend. They smelled so good and I can't remember when I've had a better night's sleep!

I'm trying to remain optimistic, I really am. But it is hard to do when it is April 9 and has been snowing here all day. Fortunately it's warm enough outside that it doesn't last long, but it's snowing again right now and our grass is covered. Hopefully we'll have a great summer to make up for the lack of spring.

Happy Easter! Really pretty and sunny here today but still cold. Only into the lower 40's today is predicted. I'm hoping it is a huge April Fool's joke and it gets warmer than that, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. Back from Sunrise Service at church this morning and am getting everything ready for our Easter dinner. Have a great day everyone!

Happy Spring...NOT! Calling for a couple inches of snow for our area tonight and into tomorrow, more snow to our south. Windy & cold & just yucky all around. But hey, it's spring, right? The weather just has to catch up!

Gosh, I hate this Ohio weather! Last week we hit 70 degrees, in the 50's close to 60 the last couple days, and today we have rain, snow, sleet, wind...ugh! I hope my spring flowers that I noticed peeking through the ground survive this stuff.

Winter settled over NW Ohio, that's what happened to it!! Ugh, I'm not a happy camper! Icky weather and I, too, am recovering from surgery. Off work for 6 weeks. Get to go back on Feb. 28, my birthday. Happy Birthday to me!

Happy COLD New Year! Predicted windchill for tomorrow morning in my part of Ohio is -35 degrees!! Thankfully I have tomorrow off before heading back to work on Wednesday. Unfortunately, I don't think there will be a big warmup in the next day or so.

Beautiful white Christmas here in NW Ohio. Now that Christmas is over, I’m ready for 80 degree temps! Unfortunately, it’s snowing again tonight.

I think I'm pretty much done shopping except for a couple stocking stuffers. Still waiting on a couple packages to be delivered then I can wrap them and be done! Everything up to this point is wrapped, just finished about an hour ago. Don't know when I'll start making my yearly buckeyes and pretzel candy...I had a cold about 2 weeks ago. It went away and is back with a vengeance! Hopefully it will be gone soon so I don't infect the goodies! I hope I don't have to skip making them this year.

Received my package today! I was going to wait till Christmas to open it, especially since everything inside was so nicely wrapped, but I've NEVER had any kind of willpower! You really overdid it! I received a beautiful battery powered light-up angel, an angel pin that is already on my coat and a huge bag of my favorite candy, Lindor Truffles. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I love it all!!

How do you get the codes e-mailed to you? I saw someone else post on Facebook telling people to check their e-mails for a code but I never get them. I have their credit card and am a member of their rewards but never get the e-mails.

Ever since each of our sons' 1st Christmases, we've bought them an ornament each Christmas season so our tree has always been a mish mash of different decorations. Now that they're older, I think I want to try just a single color or a combination of a couple different colors this year. Not sure what I'll end up with but look forward to trying something different.

I thought it was just my computer! I've been having trouble with it recently and am hoping to score one on Friday. Thanks, Brad, for letting me know I'm not totally losing it!!

Tell me how this happens! I've been getting e-mails from Amazon. The first e-mail will have the subject "Amazon Password Assistance" and the subject of the second e-mail is "Revision to your Amazon.com Account". The first e-mail has a code in it to change my password. When I open the second e-mail, it tells me that my password has successfully been changed. I didn't request these changes! I've been getting the e-mails for a week or more now, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day! I've gone in & changed my password each time but it still keeps changing. I contacted Amazon after the first time and they said they'd go through and cancel any current orders. I'm going crazy, wondering how someone is getting into my account and changing the password all the time. Is there something I can do to stop this from happening and to protect my account? I've tried signing out after each time I log in to the site, but it still happens.

Absolutely! If I get something I don’t like or need, why keep it around just taking up space if someone you know could put it to good use or would love it?

I go with my sister & we talk to each other & the people around us. If we’re standing in separate lines for different items, we talk to the people around us or text or call each other. If the store we’re in has WiFi, I’ll do things on my phone or go through the paper ads that I’ve seen a million times already, looking for a good deal I might have missed. I don’t do the caffeine thing but I do take a bottle of water with me. After the first couple stores we’ll get breakfast & move on to the next store.

I keep a small spiral-bound notebook in my purse that I write down everything I buy for everyone. Most of my gifts I keep in my closet or in an empty dresser drawer. Once I start wrapping and run out of room, I might put some of the smaller stuff for my husband and kids under the tree & keep the bigger stuff hidden till Christmas morning. For extended family (sisters & their families), I wrap everything and take to my dad's, where we have Christmas with them.
