How is Thanksgiving and Black Friday next week already when November just started like yesterday?!

For the past several years I haven't been into BF or Christmas and just put the tree up (late) out of tradition. Yesterday something hit me and I wanted it done! This is the earliest I've ever had my tree up and I still can't believe hubby went along with it!

I'm waiting for the ads to come out before I decide, but we usually hit up Walmart, Meijer or Menards first, depending on what they have and what we're looking for.

I haven't heard about that term till just now but I'm already over it!

Would love to get a $500 coupon but don't see much chance in that. Penney's isn't on my list of first stores to hit up, especially that early on Thanksgiving day.

Alright, so I ordered twice already this week from Kohl's for pickup. And since I've been home from work today I placed ANOTHER order to be shipped to me from today's sale. I got free shipping and $30 in Kohl's Cash. Even though I don't need anymore throws, I did order 2 of the Star Wars ones for my sons. Why didn't I need anymore throws? Because that was some of what I ordered earlier this week...oops!

I usually keep everything in my bedroom until it is wrapped. Then it gets put into boxes or totes as to where it goes on Christmas day. I keep a list in a small notebook that I keep in my purse as to what I've bought, each person getting their own page. If I have an idea of something that I want to buy, I write that on the person's page as well, but I circle it so I know that it hasn't been bought yet. I try to wrap as I buy so I'll have to be getting into my wrapping paper stash soon to wrap the ones I've already bought (and the ones that are ordered and waiting for delivery on).

I loved when they did that. I got some really good deals when they had those sales and they weren't widely publicized around my area so I had a good chance to get what I wanted.

Not something I really want to buy on BF, but I suppose if I have to have a new refrigerator, I might as well look on that day for a good deal. Ours is still working, but it is getting to where it needs to be replaced. Not really sure what kind I want, but want to spend less than $1000, preferably in the $600-$700 range. And Kanyon71, if you find your BOGO deal on the TVs, let me know please!

I always look at the TVs on BF because they have some really awesome deals but, just like the Kohl's throws, I have to keep telling my self I don't need them!

I can't wait, I love doing the Secret Santa! I always look forward to it every year.

I usually try to start wrapping as I buy, but having started buying already this year, the stuff is in my closet just waiting. As it gets closer to Christmas, I'll go shopping and wrap the majority of the things I bought that same day. I do have a habit of leaving the smaller or hard to wrap stuff till the last minute, but am pretty happy with my system.

I don't really budget for this either. This year we have a Christmas Club at 2 different banks plus I've been socking money away here at home whenever I can. I don't plan on spending it all for Christmas, but I like knowing it's all there if I need it. I just look for good deals all year, not just on Black Friday. I already have a few gifts stashed away and a couple things I just ordered and am waiting on delivery for those.

Is it just me or does anyone else find the thought of pumpkin spice anything disgusting? It's everywhere this time of year. I just don't get the whole pumpkin spice craze.

Happy September (already?!)! Hubby and I just got back from a couple days in Amish Country here in Ohio. It was a great getaway and the rain held off till we were almost home.
