I actually AM getting it for my son for Christmas....I must be crazy lol. Personally, I'd rather get him the Nintendo DS but he insists he wants the PSP. It goes for $250 and the games run anywhere between $30 to $50 each. There aren't a ton of games out for it yet but, there are some due out early next year that look alright. The system is still fairly new so hopefully their will be a lot more selection in the future. For now I'll get him the system, 3 games and 3 movies. That is his Christmas gift.

Like Kandy, I wrap our gifts in one paper and the Santa gifts are wrapped in another that is only used for those gifts. As far as how many gifts, I usually give like 6 from us (which they open on Christmas Eve as thats when we open our gifts) and 4 or 5 from Santa that they open on Christmas morning :)

DD and DH are the easiest. DS is somewhere in the middle. FIL, both BIL's and my older sister are the hardest.

YES! My FIL is very hard to buy for. Every year I sit here and think of "the perfect gift" for him. I think I picked out something really great but then....he never uses it! I can't win lol.

No, I don't think it is. In my opinion, the Gamecube *might* be a better bet though because there will be less chance of him being able to break it.

This sale has been going on for about a week now so if you are going...go soon! I've been to 3 KB's and selections vary and there are some games not on that list that are also for sale. A LOT of the games are already gone but again, selection will vary by store. I was able to get 7 games between the 3 stores for about $37.50 not including tax. Last week they were also having an orange tag sale (buy 1 get 1 50% off) so I got a couple of the games for $2.50 a piece!

No rules here. I am ususally the first one up. I get up, make coffee then wake hubby up so we can have a few moments of peace. Then we wake the kids up and they open their gifts from Santa :)

Well, we did leave the lights up on our gutters until June lol. They weren't turned on though and you really couldn't see them. We should have just kept them up but hubby decided to take them down. There is a house a few streets away from me that has left ALL their Christmas stuff out since last Dec. In the middle of summer Santa was still sitting on their front lawn. He is still there lol.

If its a toy and a good deal, I'll buy more then one because I will donate the extra to Toys for Tots :)

I'll probably put everything in my bedroom closet. It won't be there too long anyway because I know I will want to start wrapping it right away :)

I hear Target is having a clearance sale right now on some of their video games as well- $10, $15 and $20 for PSP, PS2 and GBA games. I haven't gotten to check it out yet but I'm sure what's available varies by store.
