Thank you for the replies :)

I know normally they give you like 7 weeks or something (I don't remember exactly, been a while since I did a layaway) but I know some stores have a cut off time during the holidays when everything NEEDS to be out by. Anyone know if Walmart does this and if so, whats the date? Planning on doing a layaway and just trying to figure out how much to put down and how much I should pay each week to have it paid off it time. Thanks!

Glad to hear they are working for you now :)

LOL thats weird. I can pull up all the ads just fine but the things you are listing for sale are from the Ace Hardware ad! Is that what your seeing when you click on the Kmart ad?
-
I go by myself but I always get the electronics first, then toys, then whatever else it is I need. Electronics and toys always go fast at my Walmart.

Oh I see what you are saying- I am really not sure why the catagories are bold (toys, clothing ect) but when they have it up so the you can actually view what the item is- the item name itself will be bold. Like on the Sears ad http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/Sales/Store/sears See what I mean? None of the item names on the Kmart ad are bold soo none of them are clickable so that you are able to see the product

I'm confused. I can see the Kmart sales just fine. Here is the link I am using: http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/Sales/Store/kmartthanks The print ad for the Thanksgiving sale hasn't come out yet- has it?
-
Here is the direct link to the Kmart sale if that helps: http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/Sales/Store/kmartthanks

The first link you have posted brings me to the news section that says Nov 7th. The second link brings me to the one that says Nov 8th.

Yeah I noticed a while back that it is the smaller one. I read on a post somewhere that the small one doesn't work well on grass. I can't verify that though- I have never bought one of those. We had gotten one of the big Jeeps at a yard sale a while back for $10! Now that was a sweet deal

I believe these are the Fly wheels: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4217268

Around here we get this free insert to the local paper that gets delivered on Wednesdays and Fridays. In it, some of the store ads are included. I remember last year we got the Walmart and Kmart BF ads with the Wednesday one.

I wish they would ring up the Gameboy Advance SP at BF prices. Wouldn't that me nice? I'll have to check out my local Walmart though for the Cabbage Patch Dolls. I want to get a couple of those.

I also wanted to tell you to check out these two threads I posted. You can earn free gift cards to Amazon (can be used at toysrus.com). I already got my gift cards from the insiderpages one, only took a few days as they send the gift card codes via email. I'm waiting for the gift cards from the weekly reader one as those ones I guess they send through the mail. The Weekly Reader one you have to have your kids take some surveys then redeem the points. The insiderpages you just have to write reviews to earn the cards. Takes a little work for both but hey, its free shopping money! I believe the shipping if I wanted it shipped to me was $9 and some change. Here is the link: http://www.etoys.com/genProduct.html/PID/2280199/ctid/17/INstock/Y/D/ You can add it to your shopping cart, go through checkout, but before actually having to checkout or enter any credit card info, it will give you the total amount with tax and shipping.

You can also checkout this site and try to sign up. It is run by buyers and sellers on ebay. They are accepting requests for Christmas help right now: http://www.angelfire.com/pro/givingboardangels/GB_Request_Lists_Home.html Good luck!

Bummer, CompUSA is the one store I don't have near me. Curious to see what video games they are selling for $9.99.
-
Maybe I can go to TRU and do this to one of the employees until they give up the ad
-
"Blitz" items are any of the early bird items that will be on sale.

I usually use paper unless it is something that is really hard to wrap. Last year after Christmas I bought a bunch of wrapping paper for this year plus, Walgreens just had a sale for 79 cents a roll so I bought a few more. I've got plenty now! No real theme here- I just try to get a variety of colors.
