I don't think its wrong....as long as you don't give it back to the same person! My MIL did this, one year I gave her this perfume set thingy, it came in this metal star. She gave it to my daughter the next year!! I had ordered it from a catalog and it wasn't something you could just get from a store so I KNOW it was the same one.

I read somewhere (I'm sorry, I really can't remember where! I know it was on a forum but I visit a few) that Circuit City was opening at 12:01am on BF but I have NO idea how true that is.

Walmart is opening at 5am and Sears at 6am. No idea about the rest of the stores yet.

The one in the ad is for the 6 volt, not the 12 volt that they are currently selling for like $200. I have no idea how much the 6 volt one normally goes for.

That one is different then the one they are selling at TRU and Walmart. Didn't even realize there were two different ones! The $60 to $70 one is the "Disney Princess: Cinderella Magical Talking Vanity".

Wow, really?!?! If that's the case, I'll have to pick one up for my niece!

KBtoys.com has it on their website for $59.99 with free shipping but it says its out of stock Walmart.com and Toysrus.com are asking $69.99 and $69.68

At this point, I'd be happy with ANY that have a decent sale on video games. Specifically, Gameboy Advance and PSP.

I don't have it but I looked through it online. I wasn't impressed either.

We usually go and visit the inlaws on Christmas Eve day and then on Christmas Eve my family comes over my house (and sleeps over). I make all kinds of food and baked goods, we exchange gifts, stay up and play card games and Yahtzee then the kids set out cookies for Santa and off to bed they go. Once they are asleep, "Santa" sets out all his gifts next to the fireplace. Christmas morning the kids wake up and open their gifts from Santa and I spend the day making Christmas dinner :)

Yes even the candy, and everyone always makes fun of me because of it lol.

Depends on who its for. For kids: little toys, candy, coloring books (roll it up then wrap it so it fits), crayons, stickers, card games, ect. For adults: candy, lotion, razors, scratch tickets, travel sized shaving cream and candles. Stuff like that.

Yes....and I am not even half way done. How sad!

We don't have a color or theme. Most (not all) of my ornaments were given to me or have a special meaning to me (belonged to my mother, grandmother, mark a special occasion like baby's first xmas, new home, just married ect).

Well, we'll string the lights up outside SOON (but won't turn them on until at least Thanksgiving). Just need to get them up before the snow and massive cold hits! Then the rest of the outside will be done within a few days after Thanksgiving. The inside gets done ON Thanksgiving :)

I am just curious because in the "when do you wrap your gifts" post, I noticed some people said they don't wrap them until Christmas Eve. My family (ever since I was a kid) has always opened gifts on Christmas Eve with the exception of "Santa" gifts which are opened Christmas morning. Anyone else or are we just odd? lol

I'm good until after Christmas between all the Christmas and after Christmas sales. After that, I start looking for travel bargins for our April vacation

I usually just do little things from the dollar store and candy in the stockings since we spend so much on the big gifts. This year since I am getting both the kids new portable video game systems (PSP and GBA SP) I'll probably put an extra game for each in their stocking as well.

Very true! My hubby works overnight stock crew. He'll have to be there at midnight but they will hopefully let him leave by 7am (at least they did last year). Not soon enough for him! LOL Working layaway or the register on BF must be horrible. Good luck to your SIL!

I've been on their mailing list for a while- I never get anything. I don't know why?

Personally, I am not that impressed with the prices in the Toy Book. I do think they have better deals on BF.

No budget and not really sure how much I'll spend. All depends on whats on sale!
