  1. My sister is very hard to buy for. Just about the only thing she likes is jewelery and even at that, only the super expensive stuff. Last year I was pretty creative as she enjoys going to the casino's and has been to Vegas more times then I can count. I bought this adorable Vegas themed purse off ebay, filled it with fake shredded money, gold chocolate coins, one of those ceramic jar banks that had "Slot Fund" written across it (I also put a few dollars worth of quarters in the jar), the Hallmark Frank Sinatra Vegas ornament that plays "luck be a lady", a $25 gift card to Foxwoods casino, some scratch tickets and the Vegas Vacation DVD. It was a big hit! This year however, I am clueless as to what to get her

    Traveling on Bf

20 to 25 minutes away depending on which direction/stores I want to start on.
  3. It depends on what you are looking for and what your mall has. There is a mall 25 mins away from me that is huge and has a lot of the bigger BF stores- Target, Best Buy, TRU, EBgames, Sears, JC Penny, Radio Shack along with the usual array of clothing stores. Down the street from that mall there is also Kmart and Circuit City. Just about the only stores that aren't in or near this mall is Walmart and KB Toys. Those are about 20 mins away in the other direction but once you get there, there is also another TRU, Staples, another Circuit City, another Sears and 2 Gamestops (right across the street from each other- very odd). I'm pretty well covered no matter which way I decide to go.

    GameStop

No not here, we still have both. I was at EBgames last week as a matter of fact. No idea if that is going to change.
  5. I hit the mall last BF. Crowded doesn't even begin to describe it! That said, I would do it again. I'm sick like that LOL
  6. Usually an hour before the sale starts. It only takes like 15 to 20 mins for me to get to any of the major stores. That said, I've never gone to Best Buy first on BF. If that was my plan, I would probably camp out because that is the place that seems the most crowded.

    Walgreens BF

Yeah, the wrapping paper is on sale this week with coupon- .79 cents each with coupon, limit 3. I just went and bought some myself- good deal and since its still a little early for a lot of people to be thinking of Christmas, there is still a great selection :)
  8. Both my parents have passed but we do have to buy for hubbys parents :) Neither one of them ever treat themselves because basically his father is too cheap lol and his mother is always spending her money on others. For his dad we are getting a DVD player and The Godfather box set. For his mom we are getting a Prepaid cell phone and calling card. She has been wanting one for quite some time now so I am pretty excited about getting it for her
  9. I am always nice *fingers crossed behind my back* lol. I don't normally treat myself but we really needed a new comforter set so, I just bought a $260 set. This is a big thing for me because I am usually a bed in a bag type gal who won't spend more then $60 on one :)
  10. I am the only person I know that goes shopping on BF so everyone thinks I'm crazy. Then again, they think I am pretty much insane even when its not BF lol
  11. Nothing!! lol that sounds so bad, doesn't it? But no, we decided just to buy each other a few stocking stuffers this year and use the money that we would have spent on big gifts towards a new matress set since neither of us really wants anything anyway.
  12. Yeah, I know I do but being able to see their faces when they open all their "cool" gifts makes it all worth it :)
  13. Walmart has it for $79.94 right now on their website (and I'd imagin in stores too).
  14. Last year I started at the mall. Hit Target (to get the portable DVD player they had on sale), TRU, CVS (had to get the $5 coffee pot), Best Buy (walked in then out- that place was NUTS) then left for Kmart, Walmart and Big Lots. By the time I got home I can honestly say I was sick of shopping! Of course after all that, that is when hubby decided it would be a perfect time to decorate the outside of the house lol.
  15. That's a good question. I went to Burlington Coat Factory for the first time during the summer. I LOVE that store now!
  16. Usually I'll start in June but this year I was running a little behind. Didn't start until August.
  17. Target, TRU, KB and Best Buy!
  18. For my daughter (11)- Gameboy Advance SP, 2 games for the GBA, 3 videos for the GBA, Bratz doll, My Scene doll, Karaoke Cam music video maker machine and 3 additional cartridges for the machine. I actually am almost done with her, just have to pick up the GBA SP and the 2 games. Bought everything else already. For my son (8) - PSP system, 2 games for the PSP, 2 UMD movies for the PSP, Nascar radio controlled race car, WWE ring giants action figure. Beyond that I'm not sure. He is harder to buy for then my daughter. Whats worse is his Bday is 2 days after Christmas so I have to think of a few things to buy him for that too! For my niece (almost 3)- Dress & Dance Dora doll, Disney princess dress up trunk, Baby Born doll.
