Was just looking at Target's 2004 BF sale. I bought the Kawasaki 8.4" Portable DVD Player w/ Car Kit for $179.99 for my hubby last year. Kills me because this year it seems everyone has the portable DVD players for under $100:rant:

Hmm, depends on who you have to buy for. If there are kids on your list (and if they offer this card) I would go with Toys R Us. For adults, I think I would go with Target since Walmart isn't an option.

For the 14 year old girl, I agree with with MP3 player/iPod. Maybe you can even get an iTunes GC to go with it so she can download some songs. For your MIL- what about some candles or a candle gift set from Yankee Candle?

I really don't know what the difference between the SP and the Micro is to be honest with you. All I know is at normal price the SP is $79.99 while the Mirco is $99. So, even if you were to miss the $50 sale Walmart (I hope you don't!), the SP would still be cheaper.

I have 2 kids- ages 8 and 11. They don't really make a list, they just voice to me what it is they want :) That said, they don't mention TOO many items BUT...what they do ask for isn't cheap! This year my son asked for a PSP and my daughter a Gameboy Advance SP and they both wants some games for each system. That is what they will get. Oh, my son asked me last night for a Plasma TV for his room too....that he is NOT getting! LOL

This one is my least favorite for that reason- makes me cry ever time because it reminds me of my mother and this year, my father too My favorite has to be "Dominic the Donkey" by Lou Monte Hey! I always use coinstar but usually get the cash (which they charge a fee for). I did a search and the machines near me only do amazon.com eCetificates. That's alright, Christmas is coming so I can put it to good use. I have a big jar of change sitting in my bedroom right now as a matter of fact! lol

I would go with the Cabbage Patch Doll or if you have a KB Toys near you, they have some Bratz dolls on sale for $7.99.

I really like amazon/toysrus.com because they will often offer free shipping, but only on certain items. I agree that shipping can really kill a deal. I'll only buy something online if the shipping is really cheap or free.
