  1. Found racks of 4th of July clothes marked 75% but ringing up 90% off. I got kid's stuff for .39-.69 per piece, men's t's were .50, didn't have a chance to check women's. $4.82 bought swim trunks, 3 shirts, 3 shorts, and 3 skooters. I was so happy that I went crazy and "splurged" on the 30-50% off clearance racks. There I found a girls 4/5 kakhi scooter for 4.98, an adorable 4/5 "I love horses" t-shirt for 6.28 (30%), and a 4/5 swimsuit for 5.48. These things were one-of-a-kind on the clearance racks and I really liked them, so no waiting it out.
  2. Taco Bell has coupons in a small display for $15 off through September.
  3. Help educate a non-Staples shopper! What is the Easy Rebate (for the highlighters). Is that one that comes off right away at the registers?
  4. Will the comfort stretch diapers still be $5.99 next week? I need some of the things in next week's RR deal list. Time to start working on a plan... Thanks, Dantegirl!
  5. Are you talking about just staples? Or do other stores do this kind of sale, too? Sometimes I don't get to the ads till Mon or Tues, I guess I'll have to make them a priority!
  6. I've done this a few times myself. Any jumbo Walgreen's brand diapers or training pants work with the coupons - as long as they are in the older packaging. The older package has the word "Walgreen's" spelled out. The newer packages have just the letter "w". It works out to 4.47 + tax for 3 packages, and you get a $5RR back. Have fun!
  7. The lotion coupon says "one per customer." So does the antibacterial hand gel coupon. Will they give me any grief about using one of each coupon? I would like for each of my kids to buy a set too. We could get quite a little load between the 3 of us.
  8. Was it advertised in the sunday ad? Are there details on the web somewhere? I tried the staples website, but couldn't find anything. ETA : Okay, I did some research and found this info on other boards. I can't confirm, but rumor is there will be hand sanatizer, folders, and 8-pack pencils for $.01 each, three-ring binders for $.25, and FAR highlighters.
  9. I wasn't able to get them last night - they were OOS for everything that had the sale tag. I didn't want to fuss with trying to figure out which other ones might count toward the deal. Do you think that I would have a problem Price Matching these at Walmart? I am still glad that I went. I got some clothes for either 50% off regular prices or an extra 40% off clearance prices. I paid $21 for $62 worth of clothes, and got some much-needed jammies my DS.
  10. What - and how much - is the cheapest thing I can buy to qualify for this?
  11. Where were the batteries? And did they have other sizes? I made a quick run last night and noticed that they were begining to set up the school supplies (and found a coupon binder I like!). Sunny patch is completly cleared out. Have you found the Sunny Patch stuff "hiding" in different places in your stores, or is it just gone?
  12. I've seen a couple more. There is $20 off on a Diet Coke can - thru 7/4 (it wasn't my can, so I didn't see all the details). Wendy's has coupons on their cups, too. I think it was $20 off before 7/4 and $10 off after. This is one place I've never had to pay full price for. I hope you find a great deal. Have Fun!
  13. I am not sure when you plan to go or which park you plan to visit, but this is on thier website for the Illinois location: ONLINE SPECIAL — BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE Buy One Ticket, Get One Ticket Free online and visit by July 3. That's only $27.50 per person. Print tickets at home and go straight to the gate. http://www.sixflags.com/greatAmerica/tickets/index.aspx Look at the park you are going to and maybe find a deal for the place and time you are planning to visit. OR Check this out for free kids tickets (with paid adult) through august http://www.frigocheeseheadssweeps.com/ I know that many places near six flags great america (like grocery stores, credit unions, community rec departments, etc.) offer discounted tickets. For example, my local Rec Dept. sells adult tickets for $36 - and I live about 100 miles away.
  14. I saw those at Walgreen's a few days ago, 6.99. Rumor confirmed. It looks like they will be 5.99 starting 6/1.
  15. My local store had Huggies (reqular ones) size 5, big bags - there are 60 per bag. 50% off at $9.48. They also had some of the Sleep Shorts (pink) for $5.xx. They were the small packs. I think they had 14-17 in in pack.
  16. Yippie! Huggies were 50% off yesterday! They were marked $16.xx, but rang up $9.48. I had to check my reciept in the car because it was too low. I saw the Huggies price and went back in for 6 more bags. They only had size 5 here. I think there are 60 diapers per pack.
  17. Jalapeno bites ARE sidekickers. I got some today with a small shake for $1.7x! Thanks!
  18. I saw an Elmo magnetic game book a week or two ago. It was 30% (I think) at about $8. It was on an electronics endcap and there were several. Now I see people are finding other books, too. When I went last night there were NO books on the electronics endcaps. Did they drop suddenly to 75% and disappear? Have your stores moved them somewhere else? We have a road trip coming up and I would really like to find some new things to keep the kids busy in the car. If anyone sees these, or anything else that might keep 3 & 4 year old girls happy in the car, please let me know. TIA.
  19. I find that many employees, especially at Wal-Mart, are very good at staying out of your way. Just try to find one! And as for the door greeters, they have quit greeting here. They don't hand out carts (they are inside the 2nd door, far from the carts) and will only greet you if they have nobody better to talk to at the moment.
  20. I was hoping to find toothpaste and some other things yesterday, no luck. But I did find 3 mm apple. And at 75% off: washcloths 6-pack 1.98 scale 4.98 (also had some for $8.xx) toddler shirt .98 Tinkerbell MP3 was 50% and Colorwonders that were on clearance were 30%.
  21. Ditto. My color cartridge failed print test. No big surprise since it sat on my desk for about a month waiting to be recycled. Clogged jets or something? But still glad I tried; it came back with a coupon for photo prints. I think it was $5 off $15.
  22. Summerville - does anyone know when it gets marked down?
  23. Was this in the aisle that the MM juice was normally in? Just wodering because they have juice boxes in 2 places here now - the normal place and the old Easter section. They didn't have any MM in the newly restocked seasonal area.
  24. I have seen plenty of Target's stuff at Goodwill here (often at higher prices than you could have paid at T, if you are there at the right time!). Lots of $ spot stuff, clothes, toys. Maybe some gets destroyed, but at least some of it gets donated here. I worked for Wal-mart once apon a time, and was amazed to find out how much stuff got destroyed. I think a lot depends on the manu. Many companies didn't want the few defective items back, so they just gave the store credit and asked them to destoy. Sometime companies refused to allow their products to be donated. But the store I worked for did donate some items to charity. They had 1 or 2 that they worked with.
  25. Thanks, I'll have to check it out! Is the mail-in form on the box, tearpad, other?
