I bought the projector on a whim at Target's 75% sale, but would really like to get more books. I have the Dora and Pooh books. Does anyone know where to find more? Here's a link to the projector: http://www.target.com/Winnie-the-Pooh-Theatre-Projector/dp/B000SOZ69S/sr=1-3/qid=1200891430/ref=sr_1_3/602-9718167-0799029?ie=UTF8&rh=k%3Akids%20projector&page=1

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2008
fluffkin79 replied to Gator Pam's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I'm so jealous! I went to target tonight to see if there was anything good to be found - no luck here. Anything holiday is full price or long gone. This store seems to really be on the ball. It's very clean and organized, but no surprises to be found. All I left with was bulk Scott TP - a little cheaper than usual at 19% off and $1 coupon- and a couple packs of juicy juice boxes - on sale for $2.50, some had .35 peelies. -
My Kohl's seemed too expensive still. The "regular" prices are so high the 60-70% off seems too high. Even the final clearance stuff didn't grab my interest. I expect to pay $3 or less for todder final clearance seperates. One pair of sweat pants was reg. $16.00, so I'd have to catch it 80-90% off for me to take it home. Maybe I'm just cheap, but rummage sale season is still ahead of us!

Sounds tropical! WI is 0 degrees with a WC around 30-25 below. I'll be watching the game just to laugh at the people freezing their #$%^& off! Guess the pro players will be earning their saleries tommorrow!

Target is in the process of clearancing some of their bigger baby items.

LOL, I must have been tired! I didn't even think to ask. It was near closing time. I went to a differert one last night to get them, but no formula coupon printed for me, just pampers.

I thought the same thing, but I'll still call before making a long drive for just 1 thing. Hopefully they will tell me there are none if they plan to buy them out. Definatly YMMV. -
Great, wanna come clean my house now? LOL

3 Walgreen's stores near me will take internet coupons as long as they scan. A 4th flat out refused, but that may have been the cashier/manager combo that I had that day. YMMV.
-
It's a good deal. Unfortunatly my Walgreens only has room on the shelf to stock 4 packs of each size. Someone else beat me to them.
-
I don't have a CVS, but I got hooked on Wal-green's this past holiday season. I think they'll see a bit more of me. Especially if they keep giving their stuff away!

Went to a different wally-world tonight. They had little kid's sandals $4, reg $11.50. Not much in toys marked down enough to peak my interest (especially after Amazon and having first pick at Target). But there where a few surprises mixed in. I cruised the regular clearance aisles, then went to lawn and garden see what was left from christmas. Looked at the first christmas aisle, turned the corner, and found more toys! 2 1/2 more aisles of toys were hiding in L&G. A couple things tempted me, but I only took home 2 that were $1 each, reg $5 and ???. So, why do they keep their stuff? Because they can! What else are they going to do with Lawn and Garden for the next couple months?

Kmart Christmas Clearance 75% or 90%?
fluffkin79 replied to chris&freddie's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Just got back from Kmart. I got DS 4 sets of pajamas, 2 outfits (long sleeve with jeans and pooh hoodie sweat set) and a turtleneck onesie for about $22. All where 24 month/2T. Girls selection didn't seem so good to me, lots of it looked like it came from Kmart. And bigger sizes (6+) weren't marked down as much. That store had christmas marked to 75%, but there were signs clearly marking "christmas food" at 50%. Target couldn't get rid of candy canes at 90%, but Kmart stays at 50%? Hmmm, guess they like candy canes. -

Does anyone know where to find more books for the projector thing? Dora came with mine, and I found the Pooh book, but I would like more. Are these only around for Christmas '07? Has anyone seen them before? I am afraid that they will be gone forever and we will only have the 2 books. Seems like a better investment if we have more books to go with this. I see wal-mart clearancing the projectors, too. They didn't seem to have any books though. -

Forget closets! This stuff needs to go to the garage. It took me 2 hours to haul this stuff from my bedroom to the garage and sort it out. I thought I had overbought, but I think I'm o.k. I only have 2 things each for my kids for next christmas. I am done with the spring birthday, but I only got a couple things for the fall birthdays. I can still (hopefully) get that thing they really want more than anything else in the world when birthdays get closer. I'm thinking July clearance! -

A bit OT, but.. My local Wal-Mart is eliminating the price scanners. I asked. They gave me some excuse that sounded like they don't want to keep up with them, and they don't want customers to have any more leverage when they screw up. -

We had a Clifford B-Day party for DD last March. I found red chocolate melts (wm valentine's clearance) and dipped pretzel rods to make "little red puppy tails". The kids loved them! Now I need to catch valentine dollar spot clearance to stock up for this year's party favors. So far I have Hello Kitty pens, but I need more stuff. You all will let me know when to go, right? -

For me it's not really saving money. I still spend the same, I just get more/better stuff. It's gonna be fun at gift exchanges this year. Most of my mommy friends stick to the unspoken $10 or less birthday gift rule. So will I, but our gifts are a bit bigger this year thank to GD.:) -
Anyone see LOST Season 3 for less than $39.99 lately? It's for me, so used is fine, as long as I can return it if there is a problem. Are rental places selling these previewed yet?

NOT ME! If I go, the kids are with me. The last time I omitted a target trip from our daily recap, DD4 told Daddy all about it - how long we were there, how much stuff in the cart. Now I try to beat her to the punch, so it doesn't look like I'm trying to hide things. -

Some employees will shop no matter what. Personally, if I weren't allowed to, I would have DH, Mom, or a friend come and load up for me. But I see why stores won't let them. The extra carts take up space an block aisles and shelves on a very busy day. And it makes customers angry to see the 1 thing they want in an employees cart. I do think employees should get the good deals, it is a job perk. But they can shop before or after their shift, or on break. -

I found a playskool soccer ball, it's soft on the outside, for $2.48. I bought my store's last bumblebee hop for about $8.50 a couple days ago. Maybe other stores still had some at 75%? If you need suggestions... My son will be 2 in Oct. I found lots of things for his birthday & christmas '08. Cars Doodlepro Shake 'n go speedway (he has big sisters to help him with this) Thomas birthday set (sisters again) shake 'n go airplane (even if he can't use the launcher, it's a cool airplane) Soft soccer ball (playskool) Gepetto mouse puppet-thing on a stick I also considered: Kool Toys stuff: big firetruck, big semi full of "matchbox"-type cars, dump truck 2-pack of cars - about the size of shake 'n go ones - $1.xx And for a 2-year-old cousin I found: lots of really cheap baby dolls, many come with accessories and do cool stuff doll stollers playdough (if you are daring) -

Not sure how bad you want a throne, but my store can't seem to give them away! There were a ton of them in Kohler, WI today at 1:00pm. You might want to try calling other stores.
