I looked at the 19" truetech LCD they had for black friday. I thought that the picture quality was bad for a LCD - about the same as my 10-year-old tube TV. And the DVD "door" seemed really flimsy. JMHO.

You all make me wanna travel! I got a few things from the easter section and a few that had been misplaced throughout the store. Some that have been mentioned plus Dora/Diego bubble whistles .99, Crayola bunny chalk 3 pack .49, bunny ear headbands .74, wiffle balls 4-pack .49. As I was walking out the door I saw some of what someone else had found. She did so much better than I did. It is hard to really look with the kiddos in tow!

My kids had so much fun with bunny ears at a friend's house that I had to buy them today. I will hold them back for next year. DS will be 2.5, do you think he will still want pink bunny ears, lol? Also picked up some playdoh filled eggs for 2.50 and a couple things from $ spot. I was hoping to find the Thomas set, but they were gone as of Sat. night. Photokins were coming up Not in system. I was hoping they would offer them to me for the $3.xx that some people paid for them, but they were stilll $7.48.

Can someone describe the easter clothes that are 50% off? I looked, but couldn't seem to find any clothes 50%. Dresses were 30% here. What size are they (baby, toddler, big kid..)? TIA

Dollar Spot was still full price today - and there wenen't any Cars things left. It looked like they had never been there. Did I miss a markdown, or do people around here just really like Cars? Tide is still 30% off, I was so hoping to get some at 50% but it will not budge. Maybe next week? I did find some odds & ends (that we didn't really NEED, but ...) photo album 1.68 - 75% folder .24 - 75% (DD will need this for school in the fall, is it too soon to start?) 4 cans of chunk pinapple in juice .62 each - 30%ish 2 MM apple AS-IS CD 3.46, "3 Doors Down" reg 13.99 The cashier seemed surprised. She looked over the CD commenting "I wonder why..?" and when the MM scanned .69 she did a double-take. Obviously she didn't know about these. First she wondered out loud ".69 for all of them?", then she asked me if they were marked that way on the shelf. She seemed polite enough - but I couldn't tell if she thought that I was up to something or if she just wanted some deals for herself. I'm glad I wasn't using q's today!

Thanks for the heads-up everyone! I would have passed up the photokins if I hadn't seen all of the good reviews here. I did a couple times. Last night I got 2 photokins (frog and tiger), a colorwonder set marked $10.XX that scanned $3.70, and a disney priness pinata $10.48. I even got to use a $5 off $25 toy Q. Oh, and sweet and salty nut bars for $1.25 (2/$4 sale - .75 target Q). I wasn't sure if they worked with the Q, so I only got 1. I'll be back for more. I am thinking of going back for another photokins. I have 2 for 3 kids. There were 5 or 6 left, but they were cows and penguins. I would really like to get a dog or monkey. Maybe I will go to a different store today. Maybe I'm being too picky and should just get the cow! I'm trying to decide if it is worth the gas to go to the next city over for Target, Walgreens, and a differnt McDonald's playland.

Has anyone tried the "$5 off $25 toys" coupon on the colorwoder, party supplies, or photokins?

I finally got a 3T coat for DS for next year. I thought I had missed out because most stores are pretty well cleared out of anything worth having. $12.50 (extra 50%). I wish I could have had more time to look. Thanks.

While you are there, get some shaving cream. Gilette Mach 3 is 2/$4 and there are coupons out there for $1 and $2 off. Also women's Satin Care $1.69, man Q's for $1.

I did at the second Target - they were out, but the clearance tags were still hanging there. I didn't think to at the first store. Maybe I'll try again tomarrow.

People are still finding Kurves, and I am jealous. The only local Target seems to have sold the last one. I found 1 Mach 3. It was nice to find 1, but I wish I could have found more.

The value drink is part of the new .79,.89,.99 menu. You can order it seperatly.

After we sat down to eat I saw that there was a "value drink" for $.79 and was fairly irritated that I didn't see that when I was ordering. I wonder how big it is.

Holy Cow, what's going on here? I took the kids to Taco Bell for lunch. After figuring out what we wanted and the best, cheapest way to order it, I added on 2 small drinks without checking the prices. When I checked the receipt I saw that 2 small drinks = $2.78. Am I the only one who thinks that this is way too much? I already make the girls share (only 1 refill, we aren't cheating anyone) but maybe we should start drinking water instead. Or - horror of horrors - eat at home.

I found a Shutterfly Sesame Street book for $5.04 on Friday in Machesney Park, IL. There was one more. I was out of town so I couldn't post. I thought it would ring INF, but no problems. No luck on the Kurve Vac. I found it for $24.xx-$3x.xx, but I want it for $12.48. I stopped at as many stores as I could on my trip to Grandma's house! Any guess on when party supplies will go down more? How about Sunnydays stuff?

For those that found the Junie B Jones books - where were they? Electonics endcaps?

I have 4 stores in my area. 3 will take them as long as they scan, the 4th will not.

I went for the hand vac, but mine is still 50%. I only want it if I can catch it at 75%, so when is my best chance wed or thurs? I got 2 bags full for $19.xx today: 2 girls pants - pink with hearts near the pocket 2.50 each 4 girls v-day shirts 1.25 each tablecloth with hearts on it 1.00 6pack heart washclothes (really wanted these, got the last 1!) 1.99 big, floppy white stuffed dog with pink ears 2.50 misc. party stuff - cake decortions, party bags, favors, candy The cashier saw the total and got excited for me. He didn't know that V-Day went 75% today.

I love Dollar Tree for last-minute kid gifts. You can usually find good books/coloring books, picture frames, craft stuff, and sometimes toys. We always get Mylar balloons there, can't beat $1! We usually get cards there for $.50, too. The quality is not great, but that is O.K. for most of the parties we go to (they just get thrown away - so it's the thought that counts).

Oh, and I got the Popcorn/drink combo for $1 as of yesterday in WI. I hope all stores don't do the price hike thing.
