No go on the Thomas Holiday Gift Set for me. Toy dept. employee said "I don't think they are supposed to go that low" but didn't sound sure of herself. I tried with the cashier, but no luck. Now I'm tempted to go back tonight and try again. There were only 3 left.

Before Christmas I bought shampoo, got RR which I used to purchase nuts, and more RR printed out that way. Guess you just have to alternate what you buy? Am I making sense?

Little People are going strong here! A week later and they (DD4, DD2, and DS1) are still fighting over them. They have LP camping set, LP pet shop (not as exciting), and Dora's Travel and Care Pony Trailer. Also have 2 small LP sets and Diego with his elephant. Kids are having a great time - just don't try to walk in my living room! Surpise Hit - a gift card we were supposed to use for "something for the family." I turned it into a sled. DDs can't get enough!

One Walgreen's didn't have these in stock "Due to the recent recall." The next had 3, which was how many I planned to get, but refused internet coupons. It worked at the 3rd store, but they only had 1 in stock. YMMV.

How do you find the $5 gift card offers? If they are in the flyer I'm overlooking them. Are they ever "secret saver" type of offers?

I did the same thing, but mine expired in 3 days, Christmas Eve. I did get there to spend it. I was just at a Walgreen's today and earned more RR. They expire 1/15/08. I asked the cashier and she said that they usually are good for about 2 weeks, but it depends on the item you recieve the RR for buying. Leads me to think that if you buy near the end of the sale period, they may expire very quickly. As for spending RR, I find it is best to ring one transaction to earn the RR and save some items back for a second transaction to spend the RR right away. That way I don't run the risk of losing them or forgetting to use them before they expire. I've never had a Walgreen's employee grumble at multiple transactions.

Went to Target and Walmart tonight. Cases of Huggies are $25xx at Walmart!? Now I remember why I use store brand. Its been a while since I checked prices. That makes Target's $18.50/case ($5 GC with 2) look pretty darn good! Check Cool Deals website if you need additional manufacturer's coupons.

Not sure about RI law, but it seems that I've seen a lot of Ads like that. Right or wrong, I have learned to not get my hopes up till I read the fine print. What do you want done? Get the item free? Have Sears commit to writing ads differently? An apology for your wife? Curious.

My store didn't have Dimetapp. They said it had been recalled with the children's cold medicine and they haven't been able to get it back in stock. Too bad, I was planning to have each kid buy one (3 total) with the coupons for $2 each. I wanted the $12.00 in RR. Well, I didn't need dimetapp anyways. I would have given it to a friend. Still happy I went to out tonight!

At the store I went to Christmas was marked 75%, gift sets were marked 50%. BUT, as I was considering a few gifts sets, the cosmetics cashier told me they were actually 75% -Score! I picked up a few really cheap sets ($.83) for birthdays, along with 5 cute bracelets for $1.7x each. I showed the bracelets to my daugter, another customer thought I was talking to her, and she said "hey, don't take them all!". Also picked up wrapping paper, cards, ornaments and $1.00 combos snacks. Good prices

Have any other stores done better than 30% on non-christmas yet. Most in my store were 30%, very few 50%.

Mine - Kohler, WI - was 75% today. Apparently I'm the only one in town who wasn't there cleaning them out. I got there at 3:30 and the parking lot was crowded. Many of the goods were gone. I was surprised to see all the Hershey's gone, guess I didn't need any more anyways. I did scavenge and find a few good deals, though. Little swimmers on clearance for 5.19*2=10.38-3.00 off 2 Huggies target coupon - 4.00 manu. coupon ($2.00 off diapers*2)=3.38 for 2 packs No price on ornament, cashier suggested $1.50, I say "too much" she suggests $.50 - deal! Huggies wipes (not clearance) $2.39*2-$3.00 off 2 Huggies - $.75 manu. coupon = $1.03 for 2. Sorry 20 min game 2.49!, TY all for the tip, never would have known - it was unmarked, hiding in toys, and the last in the store. Too bad I couldn't pick up the other games. Lots of cheap ornaments and other "christmas" I can use for birthdays for the year. Unfortunatly no play-doh. What cabbage patch have people been finding? I usually get Wal-Mart's White Cloud (never the Parent's choice!)brand. About $15/case. They have always worked well for my 3 kids. But I am willing to use something else if there is a better deal out there. BTW, where do you all get the man. coupons (Huggies, Pampers, etc.) Are any availible to print out?

Where is the least pricey place to get DVDS? Specifically, I'm looking for Stargate Atlantis Seasons 2 & 3, and Stargate SG1 Seasons 8,9,10. So far the best I found was Deepdiscount for about $35 each. Does anyone know if Deepdiscount will be running any promotions, or if all DVDs qualify for their promotions? I would like to get these for DH's bday in july. Or maybe just a surprise gift if I find them sooner. Thanks all.

We got the FP Barnuard, too. I am not happy with the holes in the carosel part either. I would have rather fought with more stupid twist ties.
