Hope he loves it! If it's what he really wants, then it'll be worth it. I love it when they love their gifts. And yes, it does get harder... Besides my ds13 wanting the $600 Surface, did I mention that my ds16 wants to go on a trip that is $1600 +airfare?? That is going to be hard to wrap...

I also vote for the Galaxy Tab2. I am considering also getting my daughter in college one. Me and my mom both have them, they are great. The 7in size is great for carrying in your purse too.

Well, it does run Windows, so I guess if he's got a specific use that will only work on Windows, that's why he wants that. And the tablets are much easier to move around. But, depending on how exactly and for what purpose he's recording, I'm not sure it would be as powerful as it may need to be. Has he researched that part? I have used a Surface, and the Windows 8 interface is very very nice. And again, I feel ya, my ds13 will not get much more either. He did that last year too, asked for a gaming laptop, then the rest of his stuff was small. But he's okay with it, because it's what he really wants, and he has proved with that laptop that he uses it and wasn't upset with few presents.

Unfortunately I spent all my money this weekend. Bad planning on my part I guess... But, if I were shopping, I'd buy some pistachios, chocolate covered pistachios, and pistachio butter from my fav pistachio place, the $22 printer from Walmart, and a backpack from Penney's.

So, the Microsoft Store is having their Cyber Monday sale today, and both the Vivo and Iconia are on it. The Iconia is $100 off, making it $399. And the Vivo comes with a free dock ($169 value).

I feel your pain. The only thing my ds13 has asked for is a Surface, starting on the day they were announced. And that will be pretty much the only thing he gets too, besides an Axe gift set and maybe a cheap game and a shirt or two. Makes it hard to even out gifts with the other 2 kids though... At least the Microsoft Store had a free sleeve deal on BF... A Surface without the keyboard cover is $499, that's a little less than $600...

I am so excited, I finally found a Lightning Deal I wanted, and I got it! I was starting to feel un-fun and left out. Sad thing is, a friend of mine asked me to look for him one, and this was below his price point, but I didn't have a fast enough way to let him know without just calling. And he goes to bed early... I'll have to try and not give in and give him mine...

I went to a service like that when my grandfather passed. They had these really neat ornaments that were made from paper pulp and had flower seeds in them. They were shaped like Angels. The idea was to put them on your tree, then you could plant them. 6 pk $2.39 http://gobstock.com/cast-paper-art-ornament-angel-6-pack.html http://www.ideastage.com/Floral-Seed-Paper-Ornament---Dove-Imprinted-113377297 http://www.printglobe.com/eco-friendly-products/seeded-products/seeded-holiday-ornaments/plantable-angel-ornament-with-insert-card?utm_medium=shoppingengine&utm_source=become http://www.songbirdgarden.com/store/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=9618

I stayed all year this year, and I'm so glad I did! I definitely pledge to stick around this next year too!

Made another round of shopping trips this am. My husband went with me for the first time, he said he would go again. My mom and sister were also able to go, they didn't think they would be able to so that was good. The time was split up between them, he dropped me off when they ere ready to start at 5am. Ventured out to a mall an hour away for the Microsoft Store, and got a Surface and the free sleeve and 50% off 2nd keyboard case. That was the most important thing on our Christmas list, so glad to have that crossed off! The mall was not crowded at all, very glad we did that. Also go me some some undies at VS. Poinsettias at Home Depot, then BBW where I caved and got the bag. No lines in there, first time ever, even on a normal day! Kohls, no line when we got there, 8-10 when we checked out. Got towels for my daughter, so glad I went into the store for these so I could feel them. Also got a memory foam rug. Then on to Ulta and got her a Naked Palette. So she is close to being done. So overall, a very successful shopping day/week. At least for 2 of my kids. The other one, not much for him yet. Thanks Brad for the great site to help me score the deals!

I got a Surface this morning, yay! I will have one happy little boy Christmas morning. I was able to go to the Microsoft store and got a free sleeve, plus $50 off a 2nd keyboard (for when we buy the Pro Surface in a few months). So relieved to have this crossed off my list, and with a BF deal to boot!

FYI, this is not ringing up correctly in the store (Target). They fixed it for me though with no problem.
-
We have a Super Target, and our line went weaving through the grocery area. Pretty funny actually, we were grabbing groceries as we went through. It went pretty fast actually, almost the entire time we were walking and not standing. I think it took only about 20 minutes to get to the register.
-
Michael's 2 Ottlite Task Lamps Target 1 Lonely 1600 Points Card (these are not ringing up correctly, btw) Just Dance 4 (sister planned on going at 6 am and getting it... I got 2nd to last one) Heading out again in a little while for more.
-
I went to my little corner store (ashamed to say I didn't get my rear in gear until 10 am!), and as soon as I walked in he told me they hadn't come yet (before I even asked). He was on the phone with the paper to find out why. Walgreen's had several though, so I got one for me and one for my mom. Also, as a bonus, there was a Kohl's coupon stuck right on the front page of the paper! I had forgotten they've done that the last couple of years. Paid for the paper right there!
-
Well, being the fun person that I am, I am now the proud owner of 20 packs of Toilet Paper. That was the number one thing on my list. I've gone to Family Dollar, Dollar General, ad made 2 trips to Walgreen's. We are stocked on shampoo, TP, paper towels, detergent, and toothpaste for a while. Also got soda, spaghetti sauce, cereal, and some shampoo gift sets. Placed online orders at Kohls and Best Buy, got a Sonicare and flash drives.
-
I've had a SodaStream for almost 3 years, and it is awesome. I've been lazy lately in using it, and I can tell a difference in my weight (most flavors had only 1/3 the calories of name-brand).
-
Notice that the items on the 1st page (40" tv, laptop) state on the ad that they are in-store only...
-
Yippee, got my little piddly stuff, flash drives!
-
Just back from Walgreen's, had a blast. None of the RR signs were up, but some of the sale signs were. I was pretty much the only one shopping in the store for over an hour. The little cashier guy got a kick out of me getting all the RR and then rolling them. (I gave him a GD card!) The only problem I had (besides seeing an old high school friend when I had no makeup on!) was the shaving cream and Crest RR didn't print. The manager was of little help, he tried a little to get them to print, but was real nice in returning them all. So that was a little sad, especially since I'm out of shaving cream. Hopefully that will get fixed.
-
No one at mine either, around noon today. They had the barricades ready though...
-
We typically won't know until the ad goes live. Usually most things that aren't ticketed items are online, but not always. Also, last year they changed prices on different items throughout the night. So it may be something you have to keep checking on all night. Good luck!
-
It has in the past... Well, actually, a couple years ago, it took almost an hour for the prices to change in the register at my store. Last year seems it was better. Walgreen's is usually my 2nd stop after CVS. This year it will be 1st.
-
Yay, I finally placed my order. Been working on it since about 9am. There is still stuff I will buy in store, that I just want to see. Like the towels. But it's a good start!
-
Well, he's not there now, but we live (way) on the south side, McDonough. It's a pretty good store for the most part, but it's smaller than most of your stores up your way.
