Best Buy has Xbox One pre orders available for release day on their site again. One son asked for Xbox One, the other is teetering on wanting PS4. Doubt I'll be able to get that one before Christmas, so that might end up being combo birthday/Christmas gift.

I was just able to pre-order the Xbox One. That's the main, and only thing so far, any of my kids have asked for. I am so relieved. So, that's 1 thing, lots more to go!

Love FLL! Both my boys did it. I actually coached one year as well. But neither was real interested in doing it at home. We have the set from the team I coached, and it was never played with, and the programming books were never looked at. And that's 2 boys, 3 years between them. But that's just us, but just a heads up. What's fun with a group may not be fun alone at home. With that said, when I was looking, it was hard to find discounts anywhere. Seems I may have found a slight one at Amazon. I would also maybe try eBay.

None. And I've been getting pretty worried on how I was going to manage Christmas gifts this year. But yesterday my amazing parents gave me and my sister $500 each for Christmas presents! So now I can start planning and shopping. Both Xbox One and PS4 pre orders are sold out, and I'm still not sure I could get both anyway, so we might be having a second gift-giving time later.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 was selling for $179 last year I believe, so you should be able to find it close to your price range, especially since the 3 is out. I have the Tab 2, and like laddhorn said, it is a really nice tablet. So is the Nexus, so if that goes into your range, then that would be great to grab too.

Assuming I even have any money this year... I'm a bit stressed about that. DS14 wants Xbox One DS17 wants PS4 DD22 hasn't said. She also has a birthday before then. I always pay a months rent for part of her Christmas. And unless she comes up with something else, it will be a new phone for birthday, and windows tablet for Christmas.

I have done pretty good this year with Amazon and Half.com. 3 of the books I got were cheaper to buy, but we will rent 1. The only thing with renting, think about whether it will be used more than 1 semester. If so, it will probably be better to buy. Thanks for the other links, some of those I hadn't heard of. Needing college books for 2 kids, I need all the help I can get!

For now it's $2.99 for Windows Phone, but they are promising it will be free soon. My husband has it on his Windows phone, and I've used it, and it works well.

I have been stalking shoes. One pair since, well they were first put out at full price! I checked both my stores yesterday and they are all still 50%. Hope they go soon!

One store was 70/50. The next still had 30/50/70. Thanks to the poster who mentioned the dollar spot, the first store I went to wasn't signed at all.

While in Target today I saw some of the Oral B (I think) brush heads, and kinda said out loud I needed to get new brush heads for our toothbrushes. A few minutes later I found a Sonicare for 70% off, $29.98!! Even better, since I'm the last one in the family that still has a battery operated one. Yay! (Guess everyone else still needs a new brush head though...)

Found our favorite lunch boxes for $3.88 (70%), and a couple dog toys for $2.78 (30%). I was happy because we needed both. Oh, and Hershey's Bliss white chocolate melts, $1.84 (50%) yum... Needed those too.

My boys are 13 and 16, guess it's time to take the monkeys and lions out of their bathroom... Maybe I can find something on clearance this weekend,Thanks!

That's odd. I came across something similar. I got some of the Betty Crocker Snack Size Sugar Cookie Mix. Regular price $1. I watched them for a couple weeks, stayed at 30%, so $.70. Finally they went down again. But the sticker now says regular price $.70, and discount of 25% to make it $.50. Of course that really 50% off the original $1. Both stickers are still on.

I didn't see very many clearanced shoes, and not too too many toys. But I did find the softest most comfy fuzzy blanket! Only 30% off, but I had to have it. There was one more, maybe I can grab that one later. Also got some packs of Betty Crocker snack size cookie mix, down to $.50.

My CVS has gone 90% in the past, but I really don't remember when. I just happened upon something 90% one time.

Yes, different UPCs, same packaging, the Chinet plates 10in 8pk, the UPC for the ones on clearance ends in 178. I had to dig through, they were all mixed together. The small plates I think have the same picture as the big plates, not the cheescake or whatever it was.

Yes, the pop-up tape dispensers have different UPCs. The ones on clearance end in 618. I couldn't find any other difference in the packaging. And speaking of different UPCs, same packaging, the Chinet plates 10in 8pk, the UPC for the ones on clearance ends in 178.

Packaging is very similar, the difference is the placement of the 8". The UPC is different, the ones on clearance ends in 3884.

Yep, that's what I was thinking too, my first trips are hurried to get to the next. I just returned from a 3rd trip to 1st store... Saw something in a picture that I recognized seeing earlier! So I guess I'll have to make another trip to the other tomorrow...
